Guest Reviews
- Jaive (8/5): -
- Mariya (8/5): - The Price, Location, the patio , the staff are very good. We are visiting this hotel often. The last time we have been charged $150 pet fee which is double what we pay before … disappointed
- Jose Fernando (10/5): - The hotel was a short walk across McArthur. There's a car rental office inside the hotel. A gas station and convenience store are nearby. Scent of chlorine permeated the bedroom. Maybe because it's near the swimming pool.
- Esperanza (3/5): Nice lobby and pool area, but the hotel rooms and overall property need updates and better management attention. - The front of the hotel and lobby were very nice and welcoming. We really liked the InstaChef machine, and the pool area was enjoyable. The overall atmosphere of the property was relaxing and convenient for our stay in Irvine. The rooms felt outdated and could use remodeling. The lighting in the room was poor, and there was no microwave or fridge available. For a double-bed room, only providing two towels was inconvenient. The cabanas by the pool also could have been cleaned better.
Parking was another issue. Guests were parked in the fire lane behind the hotel, which was concerning for safety. I called the front desk, but the issue was never resolved. The $28 per day parking fee was also not clearly mentioned on the website.
There was only one very small trash can in the room, and despite the hotel having no smoking or vaping signs posted, guests were still vaping in common areas. We stepped off the elevator and encountered two men vaping.
- Myranell (4/5): -
- Michael (10/5): well rested and comfortable - large facilities, nice people, and everything was clean and comfortable The $28 per night. Parking was a little steep and should be mentioned when you book.
- Mark (8/5): It was very good and perfectly located walking distance to John Wayne airport. - The property was very clean and very comfortable No breakfast
- Mayra (10/5): -
- Jaive (10/5): - The area The parking
- Hassan Jaafar (8/5): - Nice location near John wyne airport california All good nice staff
- Francesca (4/5): I’m not coming back. - The room was cute. I booked this property specifically because there was a pool. I booked the same day they closed their pool, yet there was no mention on their website or booking.com that their pool was closed. I was extremely upset. Additionally the fact that they charge $25+/day for parking at a hotel you’re already paying for is criminal. This place is in desperate need of a facelift as there is so much potential. The “tub” in the bathroom was peeling. And the lobby smelled stale like mothballs and old people.
- Ozgur (1/5): Bir daha gitmem - Wifi çalışmıyrodu ve otopark ücreti olarak 70 dolar kesmişler kredi kartımdan
- Karla (10/5): -
- Jasmin (7/5): - Overall experience was nice. Its just that the staffs need to be educated with regards to pet..I called & asks if there is exta charge for service dog.they told me $75..I repeated my question by saying its not an emotional support but a service dog hoping they would asks for my dogs ID. But no one paid Warrenton & when I checked in, I was chargednforn150 bucks account to pet policy..
Good thing, before I left I was able to clarify the issue with another staff, I showed my dogs cert.as psych therapy dog & she told she waived the 150..I haven't check my acct yet .so hopefully my card was not charged

- Fatima Lourdes (1/5): So horrible worst hotel I stayed in.. the bathroom the shower was so bad and with hairs maybe of previous guests.. the b -
- Asuka Okuno (6/5): - Clean and decent hotel. In front of John Wayne OC Airport. There is a convenient store right next to the hotel which is convenient to purchase drinks and snacks. Staff are nice and friendly. Breakfast was not good at all and it was overcharged ($14.99), No restaurant in the hotel for lunch and dinner. $30- daily parking fee.
- Craig (8/5): I would stay again - It was clean and had a great price for an airport hotel. It also looks very nice. The breakfast was okay, not great. My wife commented that we should have had breakfast at the airport. Would I stay there again? YES
- Tara (10/5): Excellent place to stay! - Everything was clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. Easy walk to the airport and to restaurants nearby.
- CHIENCHIH (9/5): -
- Craig (2/5): - The pool area was decent VERY VERY dated interior. Room was very old. Even smelled old upon entry. While taking a shower….was standing in about 4 inches of water because the drain couldn’t handle all of the water. Was not an enjoyable stay at all.

- Sheila (9/5): Nice hotel, I’d stay there again - The patio and pool area The lack of towels
- smith (3/5): To never return. - the pool side the odor. the odor was so bad in the evening, in the lobby. Odor of fecal matter
- Aguayo (8/5): -
- Collazo (10/5): -
- Jennifer (9/5): Very good stay - Nice grounds, easy access to highways. Close to areas we were going to. Parking should just be included with booking and if someone comes without a car, that portion could be refunded. I hate hidden costs
- Isaac (1/5): -
- victor (10/5): -
- Butron (1/5): - Even when I has a pre paid reservation they overcharged me with more than 200 dlls, the parking was almost 30 dlls per day
- Butron (1/5): - Expensive parking
- Susan (8/5): - Clean spacious room. Lack of hot water, iced water, or coffee and tea in the lobby. Pool was closed. No exhaust fan in bathroom.
- Lettie (10/5): - Everyone there had great customer service from the 1st call I had with Jennifer to when I checked in with Sylvia. A young man also assisted me Saturday Afternoon house cleaning was also great thank you all keep it up
- Britni (1/5): Don't waste your money - Close to Airport The room was very outdated and extremely cramped. I could literally reach up and touch the ceiling, which made it feel even more claustrophobic. The furniture looked worn and old, and the overall space just didn’t feel clean or inviting. The bathroom was just as disappointing, with a tiny bathtub that was barely usable and made it hard to relax at all.
There was hardly any space to move around or set down luggage, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. The bed wasn’t very comfortable either, so getting a good night’s sleep was nearly impossible. Overall, it didn’t feel like a place you’d want to spend time in, just somewhere you’re stuck in. Unfortunately, I couldn’t cancel my reservation without losing money, so I had no choice but to stay and I definitely regretted it.

- Ann (5/5): Decent - The kind staff We booked a white top room but was given a brown top roon due to "construction" but when I mentioned the room we booked was given a white top room that was a downgrade from what picture showed. Staff was wonderful. Poor was under construction which was very disappointing. Parking was $30 per night. Ridiculous.
- Ekaterina (9/5): - Все понравилось Бассейн был на ремонте
- Justin (4/5): - The price. Pool under construction have to use the pool Hilton.
Mini fridge hidden in a cabinet
Outdated TV’s
Someone’s vape was left in my room.
- Marissa (10/5): -
- Marissa (10/5): Reasonable travel and comfortable - Vibes were on point! I liked it!
- Ju (5/5): -
- Ogino (8/5): -
- Eric (7/5): -
- James (7/5): -
- Darrica (2/5): IT SUCKED - Absolutely nothing I recently stayed at this hotel over the weekend, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. When I booked the room, there was no indication that the pool would be unavailable. Upon arrival, I found out it was closed and under construction, which was a major letdown since that was one of the amenities I was looking forward to.
In addition, the cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom did not meet expectations. They were not properly cleaned, which made the stay uncomfortable. On top of that, the ice machines on both the 2nd and 3rd floors were not working, forcing us to go all the way down to the 1st floor just to get ice. This was extremely inconvenient.
I was also disappointed with the gym facilities. As someone who regularly works out, having access to a functional gym is important to me, but several pieces of equipment were not working at all, which made it difficult to get a proper workout in.
Overall, the experience did not match what was advertised. Given that key amenities were unavailable or not functioning, along with the lack of cleanliness, I feel that some form of compensation or discount would be appropriate. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the experience for future guests.
- Ercan (2/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Value hotel - The room was comfortable The hotel was repairing the swimming pool. So it was closed.
- Kayla (9/5): -
- Anthony (3/5): Had a place to stay. - Looked nice when arriving and close to where I wanted to go. Pool was not useable, had to pay to park, did not get room I ordered, couldn’t go outside, beds were uncomfortable.
- Ashley (10/5): We enjoyed our stayed. - The beds were super comfortable and clean. The parking is $28 a night!! Super expensive for parking
- Stephen (6/5): - Great location No soap, no shampoo
- Azamat (10/5): -
- ronald (7/5): -
- M N Lucy (8/5): A very satisfactory stay - Bath. Pool. Easy access to room and car
Great staff Sheets were too slippery
- Lynn (9/5): Inexpensive stay near the SNA airport - Hotel was very close to the airport (walking distance). Stayed here for a work trip and it was very clean and inexpensive. The shower didn't drain super well. Did let the front desk know at check out so could have been a one off that nobody had flagged which is why it wasn't addressed.
- Terri (8/5): - Breakfast isn’t included anymore 😒
- taisya (7/5): -
- Henry (9/5): Please get better cable channels, update with Netflix or Firestick - It was very nice and tropical, clean, was breakfast included? The cable guide was non existing, & channel selection was bad, moving but infomercials.
I didn’t even get to watch one movie.
- Kimberly (4/5): I would not stay there again - Close to the airport. Quiet. Balcony. Bed was comfortable. Old and outdated. Musty smell. You have to pay to park. Pool had debris in it and water did not look clean. Not enough towels. Pictures on website are misleading.
- Mohammad (5/5): - Dont recommend for over 100$ a night
This gotta be less than 90 to worth it !
No quiet
Very old on everything
Rooms have a specific smell beside cleaning stuff I wasn’t feeling comfortable with a door between my room and the other loud neighbor and right after checking in i asked them to change it although its empty they said sorry we cant simply!
First floor you cant open your shades because youll have a full view to the parking lot and everyone can see
- Robert (8/5): Comfortable and value for money - The breakfast was reasonable but not over the top. Liked that yogurt and some fruit was available. Ancient TV system with no options for streaming video or casting from my phone.
- Nicholas (8/5): - Didn't have breakfast at the hotel
- John (4/5): - It was very cold. Hall doors to outside left open 24/7
- Eric (8/5): -
- Cynthia (10/5): - Comfortable bed. Great value
- Louise (8/5): will be back - large rooms staff were slow to respond
- Mohamed (1/5): Very disappointed - Nothing Everything
- Maria (4/5): Not a good experience - The breakfast is only serve until 930. The location is convenient n central to many locations n freeways The door was heavy to open n needed to be push to close. As you enter the room smell like wet clothes left for a while. The bed sheets n blankets were dirty. The TV control didn't change channels. The next door room I can hear it all night. They over charge me.
- Andreina (6/5): -
- Daniel (7/5): The room was freshly renovated. The staff was friendly over all it was clean and comfortable - It was close to the beach. It was a little bit older.
- Anil (6/5): Booked for location but not worth it. - Convenient location from airport. Breakfast is below average with the same egg and potato totes everyday, that too it was not hot. Parking $28 per day and not included. Bathroom amnesties are below average.
- Maria Eloisa (4/5): Not sure if I’ll be back. - The staff are all nice and the room is somewhat clean. The beds are nicely fixed and in general the rest of the bedroom is clean. Hallways are also clean. Location is near the airport and UC Irvine which is the reason why we were in LA. Our room has a broken restroom sliding door. We were able to fix it but it still won’t close all the way. Restroom shower is tiny. Toilet is dirty from underneath the rim where the water is coming out when flushing. There was also like this old smell to the room that we had to spray our perfume everyday to get rid of it. The breakfast is very poor as well in my opinion. The 2 days that we stayed they served exactly the same options which are scrambled eggs (tasted like it was from a box) and tater tots, toast with jam, and 1 option for cereal, coffee and orange juice.
- Veronica (9/5): My stay was comfortable, effortless and a breeze. Will stay again! - Very convenient location. Staff was very welcoming and polite. Rooms were very clean. Service was very reliable and responsive. There was a stench on the first day (common for older buildings) It took some getting used to.
- Tim (5/5): Missed the mark in multiple ways. - The pool and outside area was nice. Breakfast was very poor. Beverage choice of coffee, but no decaf, tea, imitation orange juice, apple juice.
Food choice was red apple, orange, raisin bran cereal only, white or wheat toast. Plain bland scrambled eggs and old tater tots.
No oatmeal, baked goods, bacon or sausage. No waffles, no yogurts, no bananas, no hot chocolate, no assorted childrens individual boxes of cereal. The seats in the booths were shredding apart and looked completely worn out
The room smelled like mildew, the safe was broken, the tv channel selection was very limited
- Susan (9/5): -
- Jaginder Jay (5/5): Lowly recommend - Location was good Wasn’t as clean as we expected and other hotels in Irvine we have stayed at before
The check in is very slow
- Caleb (10/5): -
- Corissa (10/5): -
- Nesreen (6/5): - It was close to the airport and had lots of privacy The rooms had a musty smell, the AC was loud and there were problems with the shower. It felt out dated
- Larisa (7/5): -
- Landon (5/5): Mediocre - Location next to airport. Food options recommended were a disaster. The breakfast the hotel offered was pathetic. It was cold and limited in options. Almost as if it was a least cost formula. Small things like a investment by hotel on decent breakfast which is inexpensive would bring me back for another stay.

- Michelle (10/5): -
- ilopez333 (10/5): -
- Luis (1/5): I will never stay here again, disappointed to say the least & not clean at all - Nothing. It was horrible, never once did anyone come up to clean the room, we found instects in the room, the bed was dirty. It was a gross experience
- Bruce (8/5): We needed somewhere to stay the night after flying into LAX from Europe. - Property location is perfect for accessing the airport and freeways. It’s an older property.
- Mark (4/5): I don't think i'll stay here next time... - The room was clean and comfortable. And I spoke to one of the maids and she was very kind and helpful. Wish i would have asked her her name. I normally do not complain. Here's a quick answer of why I left disappointed:
1. The gal at the front desk was not smiling, didnt greet me. Nor really explained the premises, etc
2. The fan in my room made an awful noise about every 20 minutes. I had to turn off the air both nights.
3. The breakfast was disappointing; cold scrambled eggs, tater tots, and there was a black hair in my eggs. I stopped eating them.
- Mechele (7/5): -
- Sheila (6/5): - Older property but well maintained Needs some updating
- Peyman (10/5): -
- Chiara (9/5): -
- Anthony (3/5): They stay was horrible experience we lost our dinner reservation due to broken door handle , we were - The hotel amenities and the free breakfast The service from the front desk staff , they are very rude and unprofessional
