- Ana (7/5): - La ubicacion, muy cerca del tren y bien comunicado, con supermercados y restaurantes cerca, y la amplitud de la casa La casa es muy fría, y los elementos de calefacción apenas pueden mantener una temperatura. cómoda
- Eugene (10/5): From the start, the host had been so helpful and accommodating. The communication was open the whole time. The house has - Love the host, the house, the neighbourhood, the location! Nil
- Ben (9/5): Great stay in a fantastic house that makes adventuring around Osaka really easy. - Great house, location makes it easy enough to reach other near by attractions. Super practical ammenities and convince stores and pharmacy only a couple minutes walk away. No complaints really.
- Anthony (7/5): Quirky, comfortable homebase for your stay in Osaka. - Close to the station, a shopping street, a supermarket, pharmacies, and three convenience stores. Away from the classic tourist locations, but only a few stations from the centre of Osaka. Easy to find. The google maps reference is accurate. Property has a small sign out the front, making that first time finding it easier.
Keybox instructions were clear, and worked perfectly.
Huge amount of space. Two floors, upstairs is a giant room with space for three double beds, plus a small room off the end. Downstairs has kitchen, dinging/lounge room, and wet areas. The floor plan provided is accurate. There's a small upstairs balcony with clothes drying racks.
Plenty of powerpoints, easy to recharge phones etc. Lighting is excellent.
Lots of spare bedding. We had three people stay, and had loads of spare blankets, pillows etc.
Kitchen is fully equipped, plenty of room to cook.
Shower water pressure and temperature are superb. Washing machine works well.
Toilet has washlet fitted, and has handwashing fitted on top of the cistern. Great use of water!
Chairs, table are good and solid. Couches are comfortable.
Photos of the place are accurate. The decorating is quirky but fun. Made me feel comfortable staying there.
The apartment has an instruction book for all the appliances, printed out in English. Made using things so much easier, thank you! Stairs are steep, with a low handrail. Take your time going up and down.
Beds were very firm. Probably ok for locals, but hard for big foreigners. Ended up putting spare futons etc on top of the beds to soften them, and to raise them up from the low bedframes. Couches are too short and narrow to sleep on.
A few of the exposed roof beams are low, especially one in the toilet. If you're over 172cm, you'll need to duck when you go to the toilet. You soon get used to it. It's like bowing to the toilet!
TV only seems to connect to Amazon. No local channels.
No heating, but there was a traditional kotatsu table set up with a heater, and a blanket around it. Good if you can sit in seiza, not so handy if you can't.
No views, but you're in a quiet suburban area, so no views expected.

- Zhang (9/5): - Its a cosy place. Have all facilities you need. Convenient and close to train station. Easy yo go shops. The address take us a bit time to find. No 15 take us to the other house next door. And the bed matress was not feeling very comfortable.
- Rodrigo Felippe (9/5): -
- Mohammed (7/5): Nice apartment in Osaka - Nice apartment with generally expected facilities, all functioning well.
There are small convenience stores nearby but also a big supermarket less than 10 minutes away.
The key was easily found/provided upon arrival. Towels were provided but were quite small for typical body towels.
Whilst we were a group of three, the rooms were open with exception to cordoning off one space by sliding doors for a futon.
For some reason taxi/uber drivers always had difficulty in finding this location.
- waser (10/5): - Loved it ! The entire Japanese traditional house was ours. It had everything we needed.
The nearby convenience stores and train stations made it incredibly convenient, with easy access to Osaka Umeda or Kobe. We would definitely consider staying here again if we visit Osaka in the future.
- Rallykind (7/5): Pleasant stay. It is like value vs location. - First, if I may suggest to change the name to "Oideya Homestay" because current name is too long and not so attractive. The place is clean and quiet with kitchen and freezer facilities. Spacious that can easily accommodate up to 6 persons. The train station and a Family mart is about 5 mins walk, also quite a number of restaurants nearby but some close early. Towels are too small but that is the local culture but if possible to provided a few extras, however I think you are expected to wash as there is laundry & drying machine available. The bedrooms are upstairs, while the toilet/bathroom are downstairs. It may be quite a challenge for seniors with knee problem. Perhaps, they can provide a sofa bed downstairs which could be helpful.
- Albert (8/5): Good choice to pick this facility. Helped make the Osaka visit a very pleasant one. - Great location, close to train station and local shopping area. Spacious with all necessary household supplies. no complaint
- Adrian (10/5): Unique Japanese home for the entire family - I liked having the experience of staying in a regular Japanese home. It was unique for me! It took me 3 days to figure out I had to push the button inside the bathtub to activate the hot water. I’ve been taking cold showers until my final day.
