Guest Reviews
- Danièle (7/5): Très bon aceuil du personnel . - Emplacement idéal.
Petits déjeuners copieux . Le système de la douche .
- Maureen (10/5): Very enjoyable - Very clean and comfortable, staff very polite.good entertainment
- GIRODON (9/5): Un séjour reussit. Reposant.
- Maree (6/5): - Location and staff Very dated and average food
- Cathryn (5/5): Miserable. Continental breakfast was 1 slice of ham, 1 slice of cheese a yogurt and croissant delivered to our table. - Its location Receptionist was on telephone when we went to check in. She was having a heated disagreement with the other person. Her attitude to us was very unprofessional. As the first person we encountered she made us feel as though we were an inconvenience, never apologised. Had we not already paid we would have walked out of the hotel and gone elsewhere.
- Vrac (10/5): - Hotel very central to town, on good bus route. Didn't find anything.
- Sean (10/5): -
- John (9/5): - Access, polite staff all round, good room service, nice breakfast with a good choice. Easy to book in and out. Link between the hotel prior to arrival. No complaints.
- Laurie (9/5): Really nice location - The location is really great
Big parking lot and free
Easy to check in and out

- Jeremy (6/5): Value for money - Location & value for money It’s a bit tired and I could hear every movement in the room above.
- Alan (8/5): Very enjoyable and adventurous break, hope to return in the not to distant future - Hotel was well located, Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was clean, shower wasn't the best, but adequate. Although hotel was sufficient for our stay it felt dated
- Haley (8/5): Enjoyed a short break with a friend and everyone was very welcoming..Great location. - Staff were super friendly. Optional free night time entertainment in bar provided by the hotel. A lot of nice break-out areas to wind down. Good pool and loungers for when the weather is hot. Could improve complimentary toiletries for short staying guests.
- david (10/5): I enjoyed my stay and would certainly revisit. - The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and the food was good.
- Alan (8/5): - Friendly staff. Location close to town, park and coast. Bus stop outside. Good choice of food.
- Liam (7/5): -

- nelly (7/5): - Clean and well positioned. Breakfast staff very helpful No plug near the bed. Can’t open the window.
Hotel needs a refurb
- Laura (10/5): Fantastic - It was a lovely hotel. Clean and tidy, nice staff. Great value for money great location. My daughter (4) loved the fish outside. Lovey hotel, couldnt use cause of weather. Not hotels fault. Will book again next year.. thank you for a great stay xxx. Laura and Elly from Dublin Bigger mugs in bedroom. I love a big cup of coffee in the morning
- judith (8/5): Very pleasant stay, comfortable with great staff - Homely feel, fabulous restaurant staff, so friendly.
Lovely bar staff , Eduardo very funny, a real credit to hotel A bit dated and a strange musky smell in bedrooms
Fan in bathrooms need isolated. Very noisy

- Bilal (7/5): -
- Malcolm (8/5): -
- Annette (9/5): Great hotel with a great location - Very friendly staff, nice and clean, breakfast was good, with fruit and cereals to start then a cooked or continental choice.
We didnt eat dinner there.
Good location for walking to the main town and a visit to the park. We had a room at the front which was noisy with the traffic, but that's because we are used to quiet, so next time would request a room at the back
- Marco (10/5): -
- tooright (8/5): -
- Una (7/5): Good value for money - Staff are lovely and very helpful. Food not available during the day.
- C (8/5): -
- Ian (8/5): Value for money in good location - Staff friendly and did everything to help, bed comfortable and room decent size. We had a twin with plenty of space. Room decor needed TLC, Breakfast - mushrooms weren’t great and bacon too thick first day but improved.
- Marie-Laure (10/5): Très bon accueil - Repas : petit déjeuner et dîner excellents
Personnel sympathique
Chambre confortable
- Thierry (5/5): -
- Emily (7/5): Exceptionally clean - Exceptionally clean throughout. Reception team very friendly and accommodating. Decore is very dated (80/90s) but in good condition. Entertainment is mediocre
- janet (9/5): - Very clean, big rooms, big bathroom. Great breakfast. Amazing location.
- Schofield (8/5): It was enjoyable just disappointed with the pillow situation - Loved the breakfast Asked for a extra pillow my wife as a bad neck never got one
- Bertrand (8/5): -
- KAREN (8/5): -
- David (9/5): Nice hotel and staff - Great breakfast. Decent location for St Helier bars and sites. Entertainment was on most nights. Pool was a bit tired looking
- Castle (8/5): Very good hotel for exploring the island. - Excellent location for the centre of St Helier and very easy to find from the ferry, very easy to park as it has its own car park , very friendly reception staff and clean and comfortable rooms. On the booking site it said heated pool, it wasn’t heated it was cold, disappointed as I like a morning swim.
- Roger (7/5): - Breakfast good.
Generally pleased with the hotel. No decaff tea/coffee in rooms.
One light in room did not work.
Room too dark to read with lights on.
- martin (8/5): altogether a very great place to stay , smack bang on the quiet side of town lots of shops - break fast first class
location with ample parking a must , well situated chill out area , a big plus pool as well bar to be opened earlier in the day
- Diane (7/5): Great value for money. - The location was great as were the staff. Hotel was very clean. The property is a bit dated and the clientele was elderly but I still had a nice time.
- baudouin (9/5): - Tout Rien
- Richard (10/5): - The facilities where excellent breakfast was good evening meal was good and a good choice
- Desmond (9/5): - The ease of access to St Helier town and closeness to a park garden. The staff were helpful whenever we required information. Nothing at all
- Stuart (8/5): -
- Howard (8/5): A good hotel well situated in St Helier - Everything met my expectations. Location was ideal Sound insulation to adjacent bathroom was just about adequate
- CowesMovers (7/5): Absolutely lovely front of desk manager. - The staff - especially the man wearing glasses, on the front desk. He couldn’t be more helpful. Absolute star. Bed wasn’t comfortable - the pillows were flat and hard, the duvet was thin and the cover very loose. I requested a double bed but it was two singles pushed together. It was expensive for the level of comfort.
- Roslyn (8/5): A lovely stay with warm, welcoming staff. - The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly at every encounter.
The breakfast was a highlight.
There is a bus stop right outside the hotel.
The town centre within an easy 10 minute walk. There was only soap supplied; no shampoo or tissues. These needed to be purchased.
- Gina Yuan- hui (10/5): -
- Bilal (5/5): Very expensive stay with not enough value for money. - Not stroller friendly at all. Not enough lighting in the room. The vibe was pretty dull overall.
- gerard (8/5): - Every room door slams shut and it's loud, but it's upto the people staying there to shut it themselves, 🤫 quietly
- Candice (10/5): - Room was very clean and spacious.
- janan (8/5): - Location is great, staff excellent, breakfast ok A bit dated but very clean, breakfast could be better
- Minghui (10/5): -
- Jan (8/5): -
- Boyle (9/5): Great stay at this budget hotel - Bryan on reception was exceptional and friendly, as was the head waiter chap on breakfast. Quite the comedian! We didn't use the pool due to the weather, but it was a great addition to this hotel.
- Stuart (8/5): - Very friendly and attentive staff. Friendly welcome at reception. Restaurant staff are very attentive.
Preis in Ordnung. Sehr weiche Betten. Alles etwas in die Tage gekommen. Beim Frühstück alles aus der Konserve.
- david (7/5): - Nice hotel near town. bit dated but clean. Staff all very friendly. TV in the room is so outdated. I know we don't go away for TV. But my iPad is just as big.
- Raine (5/5): Does the job, could easily be much better - Good location
Clean bedding
Kettle in the room
Plenty of storage space in room if needed Rooms and bathrooms very dated
Shelving in room dusty
Shower water pressure very low
Communal areas smell bad
Staff a bit standoffish
Doors are all fire doors so if not closed carefully, they all slam which is very loud
Walls are thin so can hear people talking through them
- Fiona (10/5): Excellent value and friendly. - Excellent value, ideal location, wonderful staff and a great breakfast. Hotel exceeded my expectations given the price
- Elaine (9/5): -
- Sandor (9/5): -
- stewart (10/5): - It’s close to the town centre Nothing
- Tony Dunn2 (10/5): Great Hotel will be back - Loved the Norfork, in fact trying to book for next year won't let us .everything about the hotel we liked ,great staff all so really friendly. All good
- Martin (9/5): - Very nice staff and location.
- Tim (8/5): -
- Ewa (9/5): Miła obsługa - Śniadanka Czystość w łazience
- Jan (8/5): A good, affordable hotel close to the centre of St Helier. - The hotel fully met my expectations: it offered good facilities, it was clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was good. Nothing immediate comes to mind - it was all perfectly satisfactory.
- Julie (9/5): - Location, bed, staff Shower pressure , slow flushing loo
- Timothy (8/5): Great hotel, clean, good location close to bus stop - Breakfast was good value for money, location is great for St Helier shopping centre and close to beautiful Howard Davis park with flowers and squirrels
- Toni (6/5): Good hotel, basic and clean, friendly - Good location and impeccably clean Bed wasn’t the most comfortable and ventilation could be better
- Jean-Michel (8/5): -
- Tina (10/5): Very clean, polite and helpful staff with great facilities. Will definately return - Very clean, polite and helpful staff with great facilities. Will definately return
- Lorna (9/5): - The breakfast and the vintage style
- Philippe (7/5): -
- Philippe (7/5): -
- PlanqueJ (9/5): -
- Robert (10/5): Nice place food and staff, would have preferred a bit closer to center. - Good food, location fair, I’m a bit handicapped and the walk to central bus station a bit far. But there is a bus stop outside hotel.t
- Isobel (8/5): Clean, comfortable hotel with friendly staff that is excellent value for money. - Clean and comfortable. The gardens were immaculate Rooms are dated, with limited power points.
