• Michaela (1/5): Your company is terrible. You cancelled last minute with no explanation. Will write terrible reviews about you. - I was not even able to stay at the property. I was waiting for a key from owner only to find out they had cancelled it because some else was there. This was already at 10 in the evening and we had to find another place to stay in with no help from you guys. I am going to write to everyone NEVER to go on booking.com. You are terrible!
• Romain (7/5): Bien placé, appartement convenable et propre, mais complexités administratives - Proche de tout, appartement propre, clés facile d'accès, douche tout à fait convenable, habitudes Difficultés d'organisation : d'abord on réserve sur booking, puis on doit payer en plus via une autre plateforme. On est contactés par booking, puis par whatsapp, par des personnes différentes à chaque fois. On ne comprend pas si l'accès se fait de manière indépendante ou si quelqu'un nous attend au check-in. L'appartement est dans un bon état mais nécessite de petites réparations (fenêtre usée qui se ferme mal).

Dušo kabina su pelėsiu, juda dušo padas. Booking aprašyme nebuvo parašyta, kad papildomai prieš kelionę reikės susimokėti 39€ patalynės mokestį ir 200€ depozitą. Kitaip atšauks jūsų užsakymą. Depozito gražinimas užtruko 3 savaites po viešnagės.

• Candice (1/5): Black mould, rats, terrible service - fab location. - Location was great. We left as early as possible at 5am on checkout day because we were not comfortable in the accommodation. We didn’t have time/or the money to book another place, we were counting on this place and we chose to stick it out as we needed a roof over our children's heads. After booking, we got passive aggressive messages saying we had not paid the deposit - even though we had. It was then supposedly my job to prove I had paid it? We then got pages of rules sent to us, which said things like; ‘if you break anything we will charge you’ and ‘the neighbours will call the police if you try to talk to them or disturb in any way’. It was quite off putting to be honest - made me super unsettled. On arrival we took ages to get inside due to the incredibly stuck lock and door. The hosts would not answer the phone when their keys wouldn’t turn the lock - they responded by phone telling me messages only please, even though it was 8pm and kids were crying. You have to pull the door REALLY hard and turn the key in all sorts of directions until it eventually works. There is BLACK mould growing up most of the bathroom wall in the bathroom. It’s disgusting and a health hazard. There is mould in the washing machine. The body wash in the shower was empty. The sofa bed is ripped/broken. The rug is ripped, broken and a trip hazard. The streaming services/TVs did not work. The room does not match the pictures at all. And, I woke up to a rat scuttling away when I opened the door in the morning too. When I attempted to contact the property, letting them know of the concerns we had - I was told that it was unfair I had left it the day before checkout to let them know. I had only been there for 24hrs and it was a short stay, they took no accountability. I also see from previous reviews, the mould was brought to their attention months ago and obviously ignored. I left the place spotless, because they scared me with their charges - but still no sign of deposit returned.

Je suis en attente de remboursement d’une caution de 200 € alors que j’ai passé une nuit il y a un mois. Sans nouvelles d’ici la semaine prochaine, j’irai porter plainte.

L'excellent rapport-qualité prix pour un appartement entier à Paris. Le confort et l'équipement de l'appartement. La TV dans la chambre. La communication via WhatsApp avec l'hébergeur. Le boîtier à clés n'était pas facilement accessible, car placé au fond d'une boîte aux lettres située en hauteur. Ce serait judicieux de lui trouver une autre place. Une notice d'emploi pour les deux téléviseurs serait la bienvenue.

The host is great when it comes to communication though WhatsApp. I don’t understate why people say mean things or perhaps they improved a lot, towels were provided, clear instructions to enter as well. They should inform about paying deposit beforehand on booking before you book, I was a little confused when I received their message but it is reasonable and they had returned it

When we booked, we didn’t know that we had to pay extra for the bed sheets and towels. We didn’t like this. They should have said it beforehand, it was presented as optional, but it wasn’t.

En outre, les consignes initiales mises en lignes sur Booking n'étaient pas claires ce qui a multiplié les messages dont certains n'ont pas eu de réponses rapidement. A noter également que pour cette soi-disant prestation, j'ai été obligé de remplacer les piles des télécommandes des télévisions pour pouvoir en profiter...

Geboekt voor 5 personen (huis kwam naar voren met deze zoekitems), terwijl er 2 bedden waren. Huis is dus eigenlijk geschikt voor 4 personen (ook 4 kussens). Toen we dat aangaven, werd naar de advertentie verwezen dat daar 2 bedden in vermeld stonden. Om onduidelijkheid tegen te gaan, is het eerlijker om er echt een max 4 persoons locatie van te maken.

Ma petite de 3 ans est allergique aux acariens et en ramassant ses jouets sous le canapé et en regardant sous le lit de la chambre où on dormait j ai pu voir qu'il y avait beaucoup de poussières j ai d ailleurs filmé. J ai compris en voyant l épaisseur de poussières sous le lit pourquoi la petite a fait qu éternuer et fais une crise d asthme... L insonorisation des fenêtres à revoir aussi.

• David (6/5): It was ok - The location was good, easy enough to get from the Metro. Plenty of cafes about for food and drink. It was quite and easy to access as it was on the ground floor. There was no Towels supplied and also no coat hangers either if you wanted to hang something up. The hot water on the shower i found a little dangerous as it was far to hot if turned by mistake. I did do this when turning round in the shower and i burnt my skin a little. the shower try is needing placed as it is spongy. I found that the bedroom window was very difficult to lock. The argument you sign up to after i made the booking it was a little off putting. The mistake i made, i went for the non refundable option. Silly wee things that spooled it for me a bit.

• Przemysław (1/5): - Lokalizacja Właściciel nieuczciwy. Do ceny doliczają 10%. Trzeba zapłacić kaucje i problem jest z jej odzyskaniem. Żądają nielegalnie zdjęć dokumentów tożsamości (paszport lub dowód) podobno dla ochrony, której w obiekcie nie ma! Ochrona ma wydać klucze które są w skrytce. BRUDNO! Jedyny plus to lokalizacja.
• Jerome (7/5): - Appartement bien équipé et fonctionnel, bonne emplacement à deux pas de l'Arc de Triomphe. Beaucoup de restaurants autour du logement, proche du métro. On nous demande le plus grand respect total lors de notre arrivée : pas de bruits, ne pas parler fort et ne pas sonner chez un voisin pour rentrer... Ce n'est pas dans mes habitudes de me plaindre, mais que les résidents commencent eux-mêmes par le respect de ces règles. L'appartement est situé en rez-de-chaussée, proche du hall où les gens parlent fort à plus de 00h30. Sans parler des voisins du dessus où on a l'impression qu'ils vont passer au travers du plancher. Bref, très bien pour une nuit.

Donc je me suis retrouvée sans logement et avec un remboursement de 55€ sur les 218€... Une arnaque ! Tout : le fait que mon logement payé à l'avance n'était plus disponible, le communication avec une personne qui a été exécrable.

• Lynn (1/5): I want my deposit back - Be ready to pay 55% extra and a deposit deduction for sleeping in their bed ⸻ We booked this accommodation through Booking.com and were aware that a city tax would need to be paid directly to the host. However, the day before check-in, the host was very unclear about the actual amount due. Initially, they vaguely indicated additional charges including a “destination fee,” a 10% accommodation fee (€38), and a €200 refundable deposit. After I showed them the Booking.com payment confirmation — which clearly listed the destination tax and destination charge — they changed their explanation, now claiming that the 10% fee was a separate “annex charge” covering cleaning. In the end, we paid the following in order to check in: 1. Accommodation fee via Booking.com (2 nights): €275.10 2. Destination Tax: €24 3. Destination Charge: €90 4. Annex fee (10% of total cost): €38 5. Refundable deposit: €200 This meant that on top of the accommodation fee, we were charged an extra €152 (24+90+38) — about 55% more than the original price. I strongly suspect we were double-charged, especially regarding item 4. While the photos looked nice, the reality was disappointing. The fittings felt flimsy, and the window could not be opened without pulling the curtain off its rail. As the additional charges were not a huge amount and the issues with the apartment were manageable, I chose not to make a fuss and even thanked the host upon departure. However, it has now been more than 15 days since check-out and my €200 deposit has still not been refunded, with no communication from the host. This refund should have been processed promptly. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with both the unclear extra charges and the lack of professionalism in handling the deposit and guest concerns. ------- Update made on 20th Oct 2025: The host decided to deduct €162 out of a €200 deposit based on the claim that I "did not return the beddings clean." After chasing, the only evidence they provided was a screenshot of the house rule sent before checking in. BE AWARE!
• Raluca (7/5): Very good location - Very Good location, close to triomphe arc and metro station (2-3 mins away). Supermarket is 2 mins walk, and restaurants are everywhere close and very nice :). The bedroom,bed, cuvets were very good clean, comfortable. For us 3 days, 2 adults 1 child was ok but we did not stayed in the room :). Ap is on the Ground floor, no stairs no elevator to use very good for us. The staff was great with instructions, plenty and clear even if i was scared of all the amount of instructions received we arrived and entered the apartment without any issues - all clear! The apartment needs more cleaning. The living room is okish but when you open the sofa to sleep you cannot use the room not even to cross the room there is no more space. the sofa is not the best to sleep either.. Both windows are right on the street it is loudly but we were tired from all the visiting so we slept. There is one more apartment near this one that you can hear all the noises, door..maybe they hear us too.. No space for luggages, shoe rack. Small bathroom, but the water was great heating instantly.

Information regarding accessing unit/bins/wifi all provided in a lovely welcome document prior to arrival which made checking in very efficient. Great location! Close to shops, transport, restaurants/cafe’s and attractions.

• Kelli (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it! - Excellent location, in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood right next to the Arc de Triomphe. The apartment was clean and the host was always quick and helpful in replying. Many local shops around, such as markets, restaurants, pharmacies and a metro station nearby. The Coffee machine didn’t work. Maybe because the capsules were not ideal for that machine model. But I bought instant Coffee and we used the electric kettle to heat the water, and it worked!

• Marcela (10/5): Exceptional - Great Stay with Room for Improvement The stay was great overall! The place was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. However, I do think there’s room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness—specifically the dust and the stains on the mattresses. The mattresses themselves could use an update, as the condition and stains do raise some concerns about cleanliness. Some of the kitchen equipment could also be refreshed. That said, everything else was perfect, and I would definitely book again in the future. I’d especially like to thank Glendha for all her help—she was incredibly kind, professional, and responsive, even while I was booking all the way from the USA. She answered every concern with care, and that made a big difference! I will say the mattresses, more carefully with the Dust and kitchen improvement definitely need it.

Despite everything, we had a good time. - the location in good We waited 4 hours to be let into the apartment and in the end it was uncleaned, the mirror in the bathroom didn't light up, there was no toilet paper, the hairdryer didn't work and the table in one of the apartments was broken.First they asked us for a price, and then they started making up all sorts of things and raised the price by 600EUR. This is pure blackmail.
