Da meine Schwester keine Treppen steigen kann wurde uns aber sofort ein neues Zimmer angeboten bei dem der Zugang ohne Treppen war

DJ am Pool war mega. Gute Stimmung. Der Geruch im Zimmer, es hat leider sehr muffig gerochen, kam aus der Toilette. Das Licht im Bad viel zu dunkel.

Dominik (10/5): Unvergesslich! - Das beste Hotel in dem ich bis jetzt war! Wir hatten nicht allzu große Erwartungen, aber wir waren von Sekunde 1 an begeistert. Die Anlage an sich ist einfach ein Traum! Viel Liebe fürs Detail und man fühlt sich einfach direkt wohl. Der Pool, die Pflanzen, die Atmosphäre - wow! Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wurde generell sehr auf Sauberkeit geachtet. Das Parken war auch kein Problem. Hier hat sich das Personal gekümmert, dass alle Autos irgendwie Platz hatten. Das Frühstück war eine klare 10/10, sehr viel Auswahl und alles frisch, es wude auch immer sofort aufgefüllt. Der Ausblick vom Frühstückstisch aus war traumhaft! Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, aber schön. Das Badezimmer ist mehr oder weniger direkt neben dem Bett, was als Paar kein Problem ist. Dusche und WC haben jeweils eine separate Tür. Der Balkon mit dem Ausblick auf das Meer war wunderbar. Das einzige was uns im Mai gefehlt hat waren Kleiderhaken für Jacken, aber das ist im Sommer dann wahrscheinlich nicht mehr notwendig. Also jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Im Hotel waren Getränke und Speisen relativ teuer, aber qualitativ gut. Alles in Allem war es für uns ein perfekter Aufenthalt und wir kommen sicher wieder!

Would have been nice if we could have had our order taken for tea or coffee at breakfast in the morning like we experience in most other hotels then we help ourselves to buffet. A brighter light in the bathroom, too dark to see When putting on makeup. These are two minor points if we have to pick up on anything and may help you but room, staff, food were amazing! Frühstück mit Herrlichem Ausblick, auf der Zimmer-Terrasse in der Sonne Beine hochlegen & die Ruhe genießen, zwischendurch eine Runde im Pool drehen, in die Sauna oder ins Outdoorgym mit Meerblick, abends kleiner Spaziergang in den Ort zum Abendessen…was will man mehr.

The whole resort felt very warm, welcoming, and friendly. It was very very clean, and the facilities and decor were of a high, luxury standard. I will be back. The cranes on work sites in view, but I understand these are temporary and were not controlled by the hotel.

Das gesamte Personal überzeugt durch außergewöhnliche Kompetenz, Freundlichkeit und einen sehr hohen Servicestandard. Jeder Wunsch wird einem förmlich von den Lippen abgelesen und der Service ist wirklich erstklassig. Ein besonderer Dank gilt Anna und Karolina, die mit ihrer Aufmerksamkeit und Herzlichkeit unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gestaltet haben. Während unseres Aufenthalts hatte meine Partnerin Geburtstag. Zu diesem Anlass überraschte uns das Team mit einem liebevoll dekorierten Kuchen, passenden Getränken und einer handgeschriebenen Karte, die spürbar von Herzen kam. Genau solche aufmerksamen Gesten machen den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem und hinterlassen einen bleibenden, positiven Eindruck. Das stilvolle Ambiente, der ausgezeichnete Service und das engagierte Personal machen das Purobeach Resort Santa Ponsa zu einer absoluten Empfehlung.

Moira (6/5): Es war in Ordnung. Aber wir würden leider nicht mehr kommen. - Wir haben 8 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Nachdem die Meinungen im Vorfeld sehr auseinander gingen, hatten wir mit unserem Zimmer großes Glück. Es war stets sauber, angenehm riechend, geräumig und wunderschön eingerichtet. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr stilvoll gestaltet, verfügt über einen schönen Poolbereich und bietet eine tolle Aussicht. (Die Baustelle war zwar noch vorhanden und noch nicht alles fertiggestellt, aber das war bereits bei den Informationen bekannt und für uns in Ordnung.) Das Personal war größtenteils sehr freundlich: Die Dame und der ältere Herr, die morgens die Eier zubereiteten, waren sehr nett und bemüht. Auch der Herr, der bei uns Nachtdienst hatte, war äußerst freundlich. Beim Frühstücksbuffet fanden wir es schade, dass die Getränke nicht direkt an den Tisch gebracht werden und man Speisen wie Waffeln oder frisch gepressten Orangensaft nicht bestellen kann – letzterer war zudem nur mit Wasser verdünnt. Zudem ist das Angebot für Veganer oder laktosefreie Gäste sehr begrenzt, abgesehen von der Milch. Die Regelung mit den Sonnenliegen fanden wir einerseits gut, da nicht einfach Tücher hingelegt werden, um Plätze zu reservieren. Andererseits ist es problematisch, dass man erst am späten Nachmittag kommt und viele Liegen zwar frei, aber dennoch reserviert sind. Hier wäre eine klarere Regelung sinnvoll, z. B. dass Reservierungen nur bis zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit möglich sind. Ein weiteres Problem war das Parken: Wir wussten, dass das Hotel nur wenige Parkplätze hat und dass es Parkmöglichkeiten an der Straße geben soll. Dennoch mussten wir teilweise abends bis zu einer Stunde nach einem Parkplatz suchen, da alles besetzt war. Da das Hotel auf einem Hügel liegt, ist ein Auto notwendig. Auch wenn wir bereit waren, 10 Minuten entfernt zu parken, war dies auf Dauer mühsam. Es wäre sinnvoller, mehr Parkplätze zu schaffen, statt z. B. einen Tennis- oder Padelplatz auszubauen – auch wenn diese Angebote sicher toll sind. Die Parkplatzsituation sorgte sowohl bei Gästen als auch beim Personal für Stress, da häufig Beschwerden aufkamen. Das Personal wirkte nicht immer optimal geschult. Obwohl sich alle bemühten, hätten wir insgesamt etwas mehr Freundlichkeit erwartet – besonders da das Hotel erst seit zwei Wochen geöffnet war. Es funktioniert noch nicht alles reibungslos, und Abläufe sind teils unterschiedlich, aber das wird sich sicher noch einpendeln. Wir sind uns bewusst, dass unsere Bewertung sehr detailliert ist. Dennoch sollte berücksichtigt werden, dass hier ein 5-Sterne-Luxusresort dargestellt werden soll – und dafür erwarten Gäste auch einen entsprechend hohen Standard.

Muss man auflassen wenn man keine Luft bekommt dann kann aber jeder von der Straße reinkommen. Besonders die vielen Katzen draußen. Nachts habe ich Sauerstoff Problem bekommen weil die Fenster kannten nicht kippen ! Und wer möchte mit Komplet offene Türen nach außen schlafen ! Vielleicht sind die Zimmer die nicht ebenerdig sind besser

Parking at hotel nightmare.

Sehr schöne Ausblick aufs Meer. Anlage noch nicht vollständig fertig gestellt, es fehlt noch ein richtiges Gym und viele Kleinigkeiten müssen noch gelöst werden oder können verbessert werden. Spa Bereich leider nur bis 18:00 Uhr offen.

ANA (9/5): - El personal es muy amable, el hotel acaba de abrir y hacen grandes esfuerzos por agradar y suplir algunas pequeñas carencias que siempre surgen al principìo. El desayuno muy bueno y completo. La piscina es preciosa y las hamacas muy cómodas aunque el tema de la reserva de hamacas deberían depurarlo un poco. Tuvimos un problema con la habitación y se esforzaron por arreglarlo e incluso nos regalaron una botella de vino para pedirnos disculpas. Es difícil aparcar en septiembre así que me puedo imaginar en agosto

Super tolle Liegen am Pool.Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Leider hat noch nicht alles so funktioniert wie es sollte, da noch in der Anfangsphase. Kommt sicher noch. Frühstück Buffet super gut alle sehr sehr nett und Bemüht. Unser gebuchtes Zimmer viel zu klein, man konnte sich nicht bewegen. Ich würde nur noch ein grosses Zimmer buchen. leider kaum Platz zum Kleider aufhängen. Im Bad fehlen die Haken um sein Handruch aufzuhängen. Für ein 5 Stern Hotel ist es sehr schade,dass man am Morgen keine Bestellung entgegen nimmt was man gerne trinken möchte sondern alles selber holen muss. Mann muss sich jeden Tag beim Pool Personal für den nächsten Tag Liegen reservieren man kann nicht einfach am Morgen kommen und sich einen Platz suchen.Wenn man Pech hat gibt es keine Liege obwohl man dort wohnt.

Sammy (1/5): Große Enttäuschung. Von dem neuen Glanz nichts zu sehen. Weder optisch noch servicetechnisch - Nichts: Wir hatten uns sehr auf unseren Aufenthalt gefreut, da wir Geburtstag und Jahrestag feiern wollten. Schon Wochen vorher baten wir um ein schönes Zimmer. Bei der Ankunft gab es zwar ein Willkommensgetränk, doch dann begann die Enttäuschung: Wir bekamen ein Zimmer, das zuvor wegen „Problemen“ geschlossen war. Es roch stark nach Schimmel, überall waren Fliegen ( am Vorhang, an den Wänden, in der Dusche, sogar auf den Bademänteln und Betten.) Wir fühlten uns überhaupt nicht wohl. Nach mehreren erfolglosen Anrufen mussten wir selbst an die Rezeption gehen und ein neues Zimmer fordern. Die Koffer sollten gebracht werden, doch niemand kam – also mussten wir sie selbst über mehrere Treppen tragen. Wir haben im 5Sterne Hotel in der Nähe gegessen und haben uns nach so einem wunderbaren Service gesehnt… Am nächsten Tag das nächste Problem: Trotz unserer Abwesenheit bis 18 Uhr wurde das Zimmer nicht gereinigt. Die Spülung funktionierte plötzlich nicht mehr, die Dusche war verstopft, Wasser lief bis ins Schlafzimmer. Auch in den folgenden Tagen wurde nicht gründlich geputzt: Haare lagen noch am Boden, Handtücher und Kosmetiktücher wurden nicht gewechselt. Taubendreck wurde einfach ignoriert auf der Terrasse, Kissen wurde einfach nur umgedreht, aber Tisch komplett voll. Grundausstattung eines 5-Sterne-Hotels wie Zahnbürste, Schuhanzieher, Bügeleisen oder Ähnliches fehlte völlig. Das Hotel ist erst wenige Wochen alt, wirkt aber schon abgewohnt, staubig und mangelhaft gepflegt. Der Poolbereich sieht in Realität nicht annähernd so spektakulär aus wie auf den Fotos. Insgesamt ein sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt: mangelhafte Hygiene, schlechter Service und keine 5 Sterne wert. Für den hohen Preis eine große Enttäuschung für uns. Wir wünschen uns es niemals gebucht zu haben. Lassen Sie ihr Geld woanders!

Schon beim Ankommen spürt man die besondere Atmosphäre – modern, elegant und gleichzeitig unglaublich entspannt. Ein ganz großes Lob an die Hotelmanager Pablo und Anna: Sie sind nicht nur super freundlich, sondern machen ihren Job mit so viel Leidenschaft und Professionalität, dass man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Man merkt, dass hier alles perfekt ineinandergreift. Für mich ist klar: Dieses Resort wird nächstes Jahr garantiert der neue Place to be in Santa Ponca. Absolute Empfehlung!
Amal (6/5): - The views are amazing, the swimming pool is breathtaking - To reach the reception, we had to climb more than five stairs, which was very uncomfortable and inconvenient. - When we asked for water, we were told to collect it ourselves from the reception. This was especially inconvenient considering the stairs, and unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. - We booked two rooms, and one of them had a very unpleasant smell. On top of that, the air conditioning was not functioning properly. When we reported the issue, a technician checked and said that nothing was wrong, but the problem remained unresolved.

Luc (4/5): Definitely NOT five-star standard - The food in the evening. We stayed at the new Puro Beach in Santa Ponça for 9 days and unfortunately our experience did not meet the expectations of a five-star hotel. To start, on the positive side, the quality of the food in the evening is excellent. However, the service quality and overall management at the restaurant are very disappointing. In the evenings, we had to wait up to 90 minutes for dinner to be served, which is unacceptable for this level of hotel. Moreover, we had specifically reserved the buffet, but instead we were served à la carte without explanation. To make matters worse, some dinner menu options came with extra surcharges, which we did not expect in a supposedly all-included arrangement. The dinner options were unfortunately quite limited, the menus repeated frequently, and dishes that were previously main courses suddenly appeared as starters, or vice versa. This felt poorly organized. At breakfast, we even experienced mold in a yogurt, which is absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a five-star property. Housekeeping is also far below standard. One day our room was not cleaned at all. The only thing they said at the reception was "we are sorry we will pass on the information". When our room was cleaned, the job was done poorly – the mirror was left dirty with hair on it (the smeared mirro appeared on the second day of our stay and was never cleaned throughout our entire 9-day stay). The toilet was not properly cleaned. Fresh towels were not provided regularly. During our last night, we experienced a power outage (one of many). While the hotel does offer a truly beautiful view, that alone is far from enough to make up for the many shortcomings, especially when it comes to the food and hygiene. All in all for the high prices charged, the service and cleanliness are nowhere near five-star level. At this stage, the hotel feels unorganized and not ready to deliver the quality it advertises.
Richard (9/5): Prachtig hotel. Helemaal van nú!! Sfeervol en trendy. - Prachtig nieuw hotel. Tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Net geopend. Bij de receptie liep nog niet alles soepel maar men was wel gericht op de gasten.

Not kid friendly, no children’s menu or cutlery. No amenities in the room ie no Cotten pads, toothbrushes etc. Felt like they were not ready to open and had opened prematurely.

Sarah (4/5): A 5 star resort falling well below what’s advertised! Needs to do better! - The food was nice, although on the pricier side. The buffet breakfast was generous. Where to begin….. Our room card didn’t allow us access to our room and required seven trips to reception over 3 days before it was rectified and even at that, only a compromise was found as a solution The bed in our room was two singles pushed together, when the room was advertised as a double. The bed had a mechanical function allowing it to rise up off the ground and tilt (unsure of need for same)however, this malfunctioned on at least 3 occasions including a rude awakening at 3am one night whereby we were vigorously being jolted around. With the exception of one or two staff, we found most of the staff not particularly helpful or friendly. When we tried to highlight any of our grievances, we were met with no genuine apologies (until we had to escalate our issues to the hotel director) and were told “it would be passed to colleagues” and it would be dealt with tomorrow, but tomorrow unfortunately never came. Room cleaning also left a lot to be desired! If the room was cleaned (there were days it wasn’t) the cleaning staff would only arrive in at 16/17:00 and the room would get a quick “fix”. After highlighting the issue, they tended to come earlier in the morning, barging in one morning as I slept, however unfortunately the cleaning standards did not improve. Our bed linen was changed only once in 7 days! Finally, there was a culture of reserving Sun beds at the pool which is absolutely fine if the beds are going to be used, however, there were days where prime Sun beds were “reserved” but not occupied for 3+ hours and sometimes not at all depriving other guests of valuable beds.
Daniel Gomes (9/5): As melhores vistas de Santa Ponsa em hotel 5 estrelas! - Localização com vistas deslumbrantes, edifício da receção e zona da piscina magníficas. Quarto espaçoso com colchão, almofadas e toalhas de elevada qualidade. Tem transporte de/para a praia sem custos adicionais. Decoração no geral do resort muito bem conseguida. Ginásio muito bem equipado. Staff atencioso e sempre disponível para resolver pequenas questões que surgiram, em virtude de terem aberto há apenas uns dias, o que é compreensível. Solicitamos panquecas e nutella no primeiro dia para as miúdas e no dia seguinte já estava disponível. É visível a presença e o cuidado constante para com os hóspedes dos diretores (Pablo e Borja) para que nada falhe. A Michele da receção é uma querida e o David do bar dá excelentes dicas de restaurantes. A limpeza deveria ser mais rigorosa e ter o mesmo padrão, independentemente de ser feita por pessoas diferentes. O live cooking do pequeno almoço deveria ter mais variedade. Para quem leva carro próprio estacionar nem sempre é tarefa fácil, mas o hotel prontificou-se a arrumar-nos o carro caso fosse necessário. Para mim deveria ser um hotel adults only, a "vibe" do hotel é propícia a isso e também não existem atividades para crianças.

The team, from the amazing ladies at reception, the attentive management team, the restaurant team, the spa team (excellent massage!) the concierge, the pool team (thank you to David) very friendly and professional, warm people. Of course we had some teething issues with it being a soft opening but everything was resolved to our satisfaction and more, and our overall experience was exceptional here. This is effortless, affordable luxe with fabulous people in a wonderful location with views to die for! Thank you to the Purobeach team for a wonderful stay! We will definitely return! The Room Horrors: Upon entering our first room, we were greeted by the unmistakable smell of mold, flies on the bed, and fecal stains in the toilet. When we politely requested these basic hygiene issues be addressed within 30 minutes, we returned to find absolutely nothing had changed. Service That Doesn't Serve: The restaurant experience was equally appalling. Thirty minutes to receive a menu, followed by an hour-long wait for underseasoned, inedible food (imagine paying premium prices for a completely unsalted steak). We left hungry rather than force down what they served. The Room Shuffle: After showing the supervisor the deplorable conditions, we heard the hollow "I'm sorry, that's not the experience we want to give you" followed by a room change to two single beds pushed together - hardly appropriate for a couple who paid for a double room. Despite promises to fix this "tomorrow morning," my birthday was spent making multiple trips to reception, pleading for basic service. No Care for Special Occasions: The hotel knew it was my birthday but showed zero initiative to acknowledge it or recover from their failures. By evening, the bed situation remained unfixed, requiring yet another confrontation and room change. Consistent Problems: Every room featured the same issues: moldy smell, dusty terraces, and hilariously undersized slippers (size 39 for all guests, apparently). The final insult came when we missed breakfast and politely asked about late dining options. Three different staff members passed us around before rudely telling us to "go outside and find anywhere to eat." The Verdict: A genuine five-star hotel anticipates guest needs and resolves problems swiftly.

Exceptional views from the top of the bay. Fantastic breakfast offering. The town of Santa Ponsa isn’t overly desirable, but the hotel is exceptionally located for both Palma and nearby towns/beaches.
