Errol (10/5): Clean, safe and comfortable - Quiet and safe , was able to park my enclosed trailer on the premises as well so that was a plus! Seems to be some issues with draining in the bathroom sink and shower , shower faucet was also not working properly.

352cec (10/5): My home away from home! - Super clean, spacious rooms with an open floor plan. Beautifully maintained grounds. Superior views of the marina and waterway from my balconies. Indoor pool was truly a heated pool! Room service is definitely a 10/10. From the valet to the bellhop to the front desk, all the staff are super friendly and accommodating.
BRSIMPSON (10/5): Best Place to Stay in Myrtle Beach - This is not our first stay and it definitely will not be out last! We have fallen in love with this oasis in Myrtle Beach. Each and every time, Laura, the receptionist has greeted us with warm hugs and inviting service. Her bright smile makes us feel loved and appreciated. We are quickly checked into the best room with lovely views. A surprise of cheese, fruit and crackers were delivered to the rooms full size refrigerator. The beds are huge and so soft and comfortable. The indoor pool is clean and inviting. We really wish we had discovered this place long time ago. We sincerely thank Laura for her gracious hospitality and for making us feel welcomed.
CapeFear0918 (10/5): Loyal Marina Inn Customer - The Marina Inn at Grand Dunes has become our preferred hotel for any visits to Myrtle Beach, SC. We stay at this property multiple times each year, especially in the off-season. The location is convenient to many area attractions and the hotel is located directly on the Intraciastal Waterway. The sunset views are spectacular. A perfect spot for a romantic get away. The front desk and on-site reservation staff are the best. I especially want to recognize Trish in reservations for going above and beyond to meet our reservation needs. Our favorite New Year's Eve party of all time was an event at the Marina Inn. We are hoping that they have another New Year's Eve celebration in the future.

She was so kind to assist with my reservation— I’m traveling solo with a toddler, and she really listened to me when I told her some of the specifics I was hoping for to make my trip enjoyable. I can’t remember the last time I talked to someone in customer service that was genuinely happy to help.

We keep coming back every time we visit Myrtle Bch! - This is our fourth time visiting Marina Inn at grand dunes. We began our journey here in 2014 and we love it even more! Laura is the most warming and welcoming guest service check-in lady! We love the property we love the restaurants we love the view in the rooms. Everyone here is so welcoming. We will never go anywhere else when we come to Myrtle Beach! Our room is lovely. The lobby is lovely. The restaurants are wonderful along with the bar. The outdoor bar is awesome and such a beautiful resort feeling when you go out to the pool area all of the families and visitors enjoyed we loved sitting out on our balcony. We are so close to all attractions and they offer a shuttle to the Beach Broadway by the beach is literally minutes away and a great day to spend with the family so many restaurants so many activities. You really don’t need to leave though, because Marina Inn is exquisite right on the intercoastal. We will definitely return again. Thank you so much Laura for everything you are awesome.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with staff who were both friendly and attentive. It immediately set a positive tone for the rest of my stay. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was especially cozy, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary toiletries and a well-stocked coffee station. One of the highlights was the hotel’s location. It was conveniently situated near local attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore the area without needing to travel far. Despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The amenities were another strong point. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the common areas were clean and inviting. I didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant extensively, but what I did was wonderful. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. I would happily return on my next visit.
williamtO9736RU (10/5): Golf group - we have been going on a mens golf trip for 30 years, the last 15 or so staying at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes. This year the service was even better than the past. Jaime has taken over the golf group management and did a fabulous job with setting us up, even with changes throughout the planning process. The staff there is wonderful, from the valets, to front desk through housekeeping. Everyone is quick with a " good morning "and "how are you today". Would highly recommend for families or a golf outing.

Gail was such a pleasure to deal with over the phone, she was pleasant, accommodating and very professional in her job dealing with the public. My wife and I are repeat customers and would say all the staff there at Marina Inn at Grande Dunes are professional and courteous to the customers but that Gail is something special!!! The hotel was fully booked, but Laura made it happen. She moved us to better accommodations where we heard nothing - and slept great! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the staff is amazing. We are so grateful to Laura for making our experience a great one!

He makes great cocktails and is incredibly customer friendly. We also had a great experience with Adrienne at breakfast at the Waterscapes restaurant. She was delightful and very efficient. Both Chris and Adrienne are great Ambassadors for the Marina Inn and are keepers!

Being a person who travels to about 70 hotels a year, I definitely notice the "little things" that truly great hotels do, and this one checks all those boxes. Great F&B, comfy beds, all the latest tech touches, and super clean all around. But the best part is the people! They truly "get it" when it comes to hospitality.

The location was great, and the service beyond reproach. Rooms were luxurious and well appointed, teh convention meeting space was very attractive, convient and functional, and the food was delicious and plentiful. This time, we attended as an exhibitor for New Wineskins, and once again, our experience was fabulous. Having visited this property many times over the past 15 years (when my children were younger), I can confidently say that the accommodations and overall quality have remained consistently stellar. The event space and exhibit hall were beautifully prepared and well-managed. I had the fortunate opportunity to interact with several staff members who assisted with the banquet room, exhibit hall, and catering, and each one was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. A particularly meaningful highlight was meeting several team members from Morocco. Having recently traveled there, I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations—it added such a personal and memorable touch to my stay. Additionally, guest services, the valet team, and the doormen were warm, welcoming, and professional, and always eagerly helpful. Of course, the bartenders were amazing and a lot of fun, too. This property remains as impressive as when I first discovered it —immaculate, peaceful, and relaxing. Whether for a conference or a personal stay, I highly recommend the Marina Inn at Grand Dunes. I certainly look forward to returning.

rejoiceharder (10/5): One of Our Best Conventions Ever! - This past March 13 and 14, the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes hosted 320 clergy and lay delegates for the 2026 annual Diocesan Convention of the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina. As the Coordinator of Events for our Diocese, I am writing to express profuse thanks and effusive praise for the outstanding job the Marina Inn staff did in meeting our every need. In the early stages of planning the Convention, Christine walked hand-in-hand with me to plan the Friday night reception in the Pre-Function Room and the Nautilus Ballroom. She was intent on guiding us to the best choices within our budget and clearly wished to assist us in making the Convention smooth and successful. She met our every need - from Exhibitor and Registration set-up in the Pre-Function room to coordinating with Allison and Shannon to provide the lovely reception, to collaborating with Wahabi and Fatna in setting up the ballroom, and with Matt in setting up the A/V. Christine's crisp efficiency and cheerful, accommodating attitude made her a joy to work with. And she achieved her goal. The Friday reception and Saturday business meeting and lunch were flawless. Shannon Harris was a rock star in assisting with room reservations. We began our planning in March of 2025, and Shannon advised us to urge our 53 churches to book rooms in our block early, as March is such a busy month in Myrtle Beach. Beginning last July, we sent out the registration link, and by this past January, all but a handful of rooms had been picked up before they finally sold out. We had a sub-block of 19 rooms and suites reserved for diocesan personnel. In the weeks prior to the Convention, some major shuffling occurred within that block. Although I know it was taxing to make the switches, Shannon patiently and graciously made the changes as though it was no trouble at all. Her customer service skills are superb. As valets, Jason, Mark and Bruce were wonderful first faces of the Marina Inn. They were all friendly, professional, efficient, and acted with alacrity when they observed a need. Having Mark unload my car of all the Convention bins upon my arrival and Jason and Bruce re-load upon my departure was a true blessing. Chris and Scott at the Reception Desk were amazing. They took command of the flood of our guests who arrived together and quickly and patiently checked them in. We couldn't make Saturday seat assignments for 320 until the chairs were set up Friday evening after the reception, and we put a church name sign in each chair to assign delegations. Chris very kindly worked with me late Friday night to draft and print a clear seating scheme to direct registrants in the morning. To expedite departure, Scott printed receipts for each paid room so that guests could leave directly from the ballroom. Both gentlemen went above and beyond! I would like to extend kudos to Wahabi and Fatna, along with their crew members for their tireless efforts and hard physical labor. They broke down tables and chairs Friday evening in the ballroom and immediately turned the room around with 320 chairs in theater style. They then went to the Waterscapes Restaurant and cheerfully served our party of 23. I don't know how they were standing at the end of the night! We are clearly very high on The Marina Inn and the Staff. Thanks to them, we have received rave reviews from clergy and lay delegates from all across the diocese. The sign of a successful event is having ZERO complaints or suggestions for improvement! As General Manager, Patrick Martin is to be commended for recognizing and hiring such an extraordinary team. Right from our arrival Mike at the valet was welcoming and helpful with the way overpacked suitcases we had! Chris at the front desk helped check us in promptly, and answered all my questions. The two bedroom suite we had was perfect for our family, providing separate bedrooms and bathrooms for the adults and kids. Our patios overlooked the pool - which my kids enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools! We had breakfast right on site at the Waterscapes restaurant and Adrienne was friendly and attentive! Really can’t say enough positive things about our experience, and can’t wait until the next visit!

The room location was horrible. Someone kept slamming doors all night. We left early and didn’t even stay the second night. We won’t be back. The price is too expensive for that type of quality. We won’t be going back.

We stayed in the Marina Tower in a two bedroom suite on the 5th floor which had amazing balcony views of the outdoor pools, Marina and golf course. The suite was spotlessly clean throughout including the bedrooms, bathrooms, living area and kitchen. The kitchen appliances were very clean, even the toaster had no bread crumbs. The beds and pillows were clean and very comfortable. All of the staff were accommodating, friendly and respectful. Special thanks to Laura at the front desk. We left very happy and will certainly be back.

Schoonerwharf (10/5): We Had A Grand Time! - Got a beautiful, big, balcony room overlooking the marina and Grand Dunes Golf Course. The room was equipped with a full kitchen, large bathroom, and a gas fireplace. About the only hotel amenity we experienced was me in the exercise room, which was well-equipped for pretty much anything you're looking for. The valet service was complementary and fast, and Laura at the front desk took care of us very nicely. I given The Marina Inn at Grand Dunes my highest recommendation.

I was tempted to strip it down to see who the manufacturer was Room service closed at 9:30. We were attending a concert and would be getting back after 10pm. We had hoped to just order something from room service but ended up having to drive 15-20 minutes out of our way to pick up something to bring back to the room.

V6926CKmaryk (10/5): Many great memories to be made at the Marina Inn - Vickie was extremely helpful with our booking directly through the hotel. We have stayed there several times beginning while it was still under construction. It combines the best of both world, with being off the beaten path while still having an oceanfront beach with a snack bar and beach chairs. There is a shuttle from the beach to the hotel. Our kids have always loved that you can order food and shakes poolside. It is family friendly and worth the trip.
