• Jodi (8/5): Perfect location. Good flat for a couple of nights for 2 peope. - Location to Paddington Station was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The washer/dryer was in a smallish cupboard in the main bedroom. Whoever did the cleaning had left the vacuum, bucket, mop etc. in the cupboard and it was difficult to reach the washer/dryer. There was also dirty linen left in the cupboard which had not been washed or attended to prior to our stay.

• Anne (10/5): Aussie visitor - The apartment was great. The location was great, close to trains, restaurants etc The only negative was the people living above made a lot of noise during the early morning hours
• Jan Erling Klausen (7/5): Fresh but noisy apartment in great location - Overall, the apartment came off as fresh and inviting. It appeared recently renovated, with few signs of wear on walls, floors, furniture etc. This includes the very small but fully functional bathroom. The furniture and appliances seemed quite new, and there was ample kitchenware for meals and simple cooking. We've no complaints about the cleanliness. The location of the apartment is brilliant, very close to a major train/tube hub as well as Hyde park/Kensington gardens. Oxford street etc is within walking distance. I highly recommend this apartment for shorter stays in central London. Guests with severe obesity may find it difficult to enter the shower, as the cabin entrance is quite narrow. But once you're in, the shower is warm and pleasant. There is next to zero hot water in the kitchen tab so you should use the dishwasher. Beware loud noise from upstairs, at strange hours. At 05:30 we were kept awake by loud talking and walking about. There is likely no insulation between floors, and likely some funny business going on upstairs too, so this flat is not for light sleepers. The hosts were quite responsive, and answered to our queries without unnecessary delay. However, they refused to provide information about how to access the apartment (or send the payment link for the security deposit) any earlier than the day of arrival, which meant we had to board the plane to London without even knowing how to get in. I would have preferred to settle this earlier, to get more reassurance that the apartment would actually be available to us.

Très petit mais fait l'affaire, la porte d'entrée était vraiment à rat bord de la route, avec un petit c'était parfois compliqué. Et là seule chose c'est qu'il n'y avait même pas 1 petite bouteille d'eau dans le frigo à notre arrivé. Je suis une habituée d'hôtel, ou airbnb, et nous avons toujours eu de l'eau dans le frigo. Sinon dans l'ensemble c'était très bien

• Dominic (9/5): Große Weiterempfehlung - Die Wohnung liegt nur wenige Minuten vom Bahnhof Paddington und war sehr sauber. Das Bad ist sehr klein, aber der Rest ist super. Sehr kleines Bad.

• Krisztina (1/5): Koszos,kellemetlen, a valóban sokkal-sokkal kisebb, miniatűr fürdőszobával rendelkező lakás. - A két személyes ágy, a kanapé kényelmetlen és rendkívül koszos volt!! Katasztrófa kicsi volt a fürdőszoba, 60 kilósan is alig fértem be, a melegvíz az hol volt hol nem volt. A lakás Nagyon koszos volt az egész lakás. A kulcsátvétel katasztrófa volt, miközben azt mondták hogy a szálláshoz közel egy üzletben. A valóságban ez úgy volt, hogy egy rossz környéken, csomagokkal legalább 1 kilométert gyalogoltunk miután kiszálltunk a taxiból. 😡

I absolutely loved the convenience of the property (the station was across and plenty of food spots nearby as well). Check-In instructions and the $450 deposit.

• Nabil (9/5): lovely apartment very well located - Everything was nice. Perfect location, clean and very well equipped, nice WiFi connectivity, helpful staff. Will consider it as a first choice for a new stay in London. Special thanks to Gina for her responsiveness and availability. tha Paddington Central Station is just across the street and the National Express Bus Station is 2 min walking. the sofa bed is more a sofa than a bed. it is quite uncomfortable

• Firdawsd (7/5): Nice property, great location - It was a lovely and well planned apartment with all necessary amenities on site. Very very ideal location as well, opposite Paddington station. Bed was very comfortable too. The property description doesn't show the outside, so we were shocked to find the door literally by the road underneath a tunnel! The property managers also insisted on a £450 deposit despite having to pay for the property upfront online, they kept insisting on this being transferred rather than blocked on card (which is the standard). I didn't like this as it was quite inconveniencing and not ideal for tourists
• Salma (10/5): great location and clean apartment - Small but lovely apartment a short walk from paddington station, very clean and comfy, noticed some reviews about issue with the water temperature but it worked fine for us ( you just need to adjust the water to the right level ? I have a similar shower ) so it was fine for us. We collected keys from a supermarket with a code and it was a short walk to the apartment ( about 5-6 mins ) and opposite the station so all fine. - The only downside was the checkout time was at 11am and we were late the previous night, the cleaner came sharp on time but when we spoke about staying a bit longer to get ready the gave us an extra hour so it worked out just fine. - Sadly the freebies only had decaf coffee available but didnt bother us that much ( but they had some English tea bags !! )
• Teresa (4/5): Not suitable for young children for us. - Clean, location We had a pram and baby, the front door opens onto the road which was not safe. It was underfloor heating which took hours to heat. So from check in at 3pm it was still not a suitable temperature for our Baby to sleep at 7pm. Our son has started crawling and the underfloor heating was really even with hot patches and made it unsuitable for our travel cot. There was no microwave as listed, but when contacted they did bring on straight away.

Distance required to travel to office I feel this process could be completed online as keys not collected at the office but close to apartment. The extremely tiny bathroom. Noisy neighbours.
• Christina (10/5): Great place for a family of three, on a quiet street but so close to Paddington Station!! - Excellent location! Great for a couple and one child. Less than a block from Paddington Station, on a very quiet street but close to several restaurants and pubs. Easy access to Elizabeth line and Circle/District and Bakerloo lines. Less than a twenty minute walk to Hyde Park, where we spent an evening at Winter Wonderland. The shower was temperamental, was cold a few times.

• Wai (8/5): Excellent stay and we enjoyed it so much. - It has perfect location. It’s right beside Paddington station. If you take Heathrow Express, it’s only one stop away. It just take 3 mins to walk to the apartment. The washroom is very small and the pillows are not good for me. So thin.
• Ganna (1/5): HORRIBLE! Don’t book it - The location is very convenient, because Paddington is really close. And that all 1. Let’s start from the communication with the managers, when you fully prebook the apart they start bombarding you with millions of different contracts (20 pages of reading), some dumb requests- credit card info, photos of passports, photos of letters with your address, etc. But that’s not only messages, they also call. It stressed me out before even coming to London. 2. They reply once in a while by emails, not using messengers for fast and comfortable communication. 3. When we arrived to London they finally sent me the bank account where I could pay the deposit, before that they were demanding the credit card info, which I refused given. 4. They didn’t send me any check-in info before they hadn’t got deposit money. That was Sunday so we were waiting for 2 hours near the Paddington station (~6p.m.), while they let us check in. Just imagine- me with 2 kids, 2 suitcases, 3 backpacks. 5. The keys from the apartment are 10 min walk in a local store, then again 10 min walk with kids, suitcases and kids. What a hell?! That’s ridiculous! 6. The apartment is something like a hole, where Harry Potter lived. As I may suppose it wasn’t originally made for living, kind of thing for storage. It’s super tiny, if you don’t close the door to the toilet, the postman could see you through the post hole from the street, or any stranger as well. I didn’t feel comfortable there. Wnen you cook something the sofa will be dirty because of oil splashing and so on. 7. What’s more, 3 meters from the apartment there is reconstruction work and the builders start working every single day at 7:30. It’s impossible to sleep. The neighbors- they are very loud and love parties. I know what I am talking about because we were living there for a week. Lying in a bed at 1 a m. I could clearly hear everything they were talking about. So something it was impossible to sleep till 5 in the morning ( 8.
• John (7/5): Great location and a small, but well appointed apartment for a short stay. Travel light! - The apartment is small, but that's fine. The pictures are accurate. The location is amazing if you need to get anywhere around London, especially how close it is to Paddington Station, therefore the Heathrow Express/Elizabeth Line. The bathroom is SO small and tight. It was well appointed, but it could easily have taken a bit of space from the large front room/kitchen during the renovations. I also did not like the key collection process. I had to drag my heavy luggage to a nearby convenience store who had the keys. This apartment could have benefitted from a digital code lock. Dragging my luggage 5mins in the opposite direction to the apartment wasn't fun in winter. They do offer a service to meet at the apartment, but it costs a lot extra!

• Sohey (6/5): Pleasant - Best location for tourists, just next to Paddington station. 3mins from the platform of Elizabeth Line. Probably the smallest bathroom in the city. Building construct nearby in day time which cause some noise.

• Debi (10/5): I would highly recommend this apartment!!! - I loved the location. very close to underground, railway and buses. shopping is straight up the block There are coffee shops and restaurants. simply awesome we all felt very safe walking at night or anytime actually. the company Modern Apartments are very professional, timely in their responses. They answer any questions or concerns. I’m very happy with our whole adventure to the LOVELY city of London England!!! Glorious people in a Glorious country!! the walls and windows let in a lot of noise. but it’s really only the tenants upstairs going in and out plus people walking outside. it doesn’t last long and would not deter me from staying here again.
