• Chloé (8/5): Génial - Nous avons adoré le petit déjeuner et l’emplacement dans un petit village au calme. Ester pour l’accueil et les petits déjeunes étaient adorable, elle nous a donné beaucoup de conseils pour visiter l’île L’eau du jacuzzi manquait quelques degrés.

• Fiona (6/5): A little disappointing but does score high for location. - The location was fantastic just a short stroll to the village square. Ester was great, she’s very knowledgable about the island and will do anything to help, she is a lady hired by the owners to help guests sort anything from transfers to car hire, tours etc. Wonderful cats visit the patio daily but be careful of the feisty white one, she scratches when you walk past, so be careful of children if they were to pet them . Despite emailing the owner and asking if the air con was good and to which she replied ‘it’s great’ there was no air con in either bedroom. There is an a/c unit in the lounge but it doesn’t reach the bedrooms so we slept with battery operated neck fans due to the heat and the lack of air flow. The only place you can get cool is the lounge so I spent a lot of time sleeping there. The patio has 2 dilapidated and broken sun chairs so little to nothing to relax on. Hot tub is a plunge pool as only luke warm water but still refreshing on a hot day. Beds and pillows not comfortable for me but that’s down to personal preference so isn’t necessarily a fault of Kampanario. Very limited kitchenware, no oven but just one hot plate to cook with one pan at a time.
• CAROLINE (9/5): - Villa tout confort avec le petit plus du bain à remous en sous sol. Tout était parfait, nous avons eu la bonne surprise d'avoir 2 salles de bain et toilettes ce qui est pratique quand on est nombreux. La maison est idéalement située dans le village très sympa de Megalochori et à un parking gratuit pas loin. Nous avions été très bien accueillis par notre hôte, qui est une personne charmante et avenante. Nous recommandons ce logement à 1000%!!! Rien.

• Deborah (10/5): Stunning cave house in beautiful town. - Fantastic location in centre of village. Spa area is beautiful however it is a plunge pool not hot tub as max temp is 32. Also pictures show an TV in the spa area, this was not there which is a shame as it would have been a great place to sit.
• Ruairidh (10/5): Splendid, traditional village house with all the modern comforts - Great villa and location away from the crowds. Very helpful host. Still some great views of the sunset from the village and a bustop at the top of the road to see the rest of the island, buses ~every 30 mins. Plenty restaurants to choose from within a short stroll. I would say this a 2 or 3 night location, we were a family of 4 and any more might have got a bit testing as there's not a huge amount of room but more than ample and tastefully decortated. Your transfer driver may not drive you right to the door as the streets are narrow, but worst case it's a 3 minute walk.

• Heaney (10/5): The most memorable and perfect place we will likely remember. - The villa was absolutely amazing. We loved being in the small village, the people were very friendly, and the village offered everything we needed without the chaos of a large town. We couldn’t believe how we stepped back in time and were able to relax as well as have every amenity we wanted. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a piece of paradise. The host Ester gave us great recommendations!! We laughed that the entire village seemed to be made for very short people. The doors inside and out of every building were short but that was also part of the ambiance. If you are a large or very tall person it would be difficult to move around.

Ester was an amazing and responsive host who arranged a transfer for us from the port to the villa, showed us around and gave us recommendations on restaurants and bakeries. The place has everything for a great stay, is very clean with all necessary amenities and toiletries. The indoor pool was really nice too! We hope to come back again one day. N/A

• Alana (7/5): Pretty traditional Megalochori - Pretty traditional village The outdoor space was very small and a little small overall for our family of 5 ( two large boys and younger daughter). It’s perfect for a short break but not for longer holiday in my opinion

Having a plunge pool in basement was very relaxing after an all day outing. Host was lovely and gave some great information on tours. Would definitely recommend to stay here. Nothing

• Robert (7/5): Kampinariou Review - Great location 2 mins from bus across the island , 1 minute from shops and resturants. 5 min walk to family bakery where you can get cooked meals and essentials.. The hot tub was superb. Air conditioning great. Location very quiet at night but seconds away from resturants. Bed very comfortable.. Great walking from house across the island for keen walkers. Scenery off main roads beautiful. No comfortable seating inside or out. No shade outside. Limited work space in kitchen. No where to put bathroom toiletries. Access to bed from bottom only.. no TV in hot tub / sitting room suggested in photos.
