Om man har hund måste man meddela det till boendet innan man kommer eftersom boendet har begränsning på antalet hundar per dygn. Detta upplyser inte Booking om. La chambre était spacieuse, calme et confortable. Le jardin d'hiver pour le repas du soir ou une pause détente est très agréable. Les produits du petit déjeuner sont faits maison. Le gîte est très bien situé. Les chemins de randonnées sont accessibles directement depuis le gite.

Jérôme et Nadège sont super sympa et prêt à nous donner de bon conseil pour nos visites ou randonnées que nous avons suivi sans hésitation et qui correspondait à nos attentes. Très bon produit fait maison et locaux pour le déjeuner, un régal. Sans hésiter a recommandé. Rien n'a perturbé notre séjour.

• Birgit (10/5): Liebevolles B&B mit sehr netten Gastgebern - Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, z.B. Vorschläge für Wanderungen, Restaurants etc. - Das Zimmer (2), Wintergarten, Frühstücksraum waren liebevoll gestaltet. Das Bad ist sehr groß mit guter Dusche. Abendessen haben wir vorab bestellt und im Wintergarten serviert bekommen. Dieses und auch das Frühstück waren liebvoll angerichtet mit heimischen Zutaten (Käse, Wurst, Marmelade..). Für das Auto gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Haus. Das Haus verfügt über viele Treppen und auch das Dorf selbst zieht sich über einige 100 Höhenmeter, d.h. für Gäste mit Geheinschränkungen ist es eher ungeeignet. -

Auf bestimmte Vorlieben zum Frühstück hat der Vermieter unaufgefordert reagiert und am nächsten Morgen frisch Gebackenes (glutenfrei) aufgetischt. Der Frügstücksraum steht ab 10.30 Uhr nicht mehr als Gemeinschaftsraum zur Verfügung. Das wird auf der Homepage nicht deutlich.

Seul hic est les escaliers : bien prévenir les personnes à mobilité réduite mais ce n'est que secondaire .

La colazione è molto buona e tutti i prodotti proposti sono fatti in casa, dalle marmellate - buonissime, di stagione e molto particolari - ai dolcetti allo yogurt. La casa è incastonata al bordo di un bosco e ciò rende l'atmosfera fatata. Gli ospiti offrono anche la possibilità di cenare nel loro giardino d'inverno, il che rende l'esperienza completa.

Breakfast was excellent, and the chef was wonderful and kind, full of great conversation and information. With only a few guest rooms, it felt a bit like family after just one night. Haut-Koenigsbourg is just 10 minutes away by car or you can hike there on foot.

(9/5): Ein liebevoll eingerichtetes tolles Herrenhaus mit äußerst freundlichen Gastgebern. - Eine tolles altes Herrenhaus, liebevoll und stilsicher eingerichet und ruhig gelegen mit großem Garten inklusive zwei Eseln und schönen Zimmern. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend und wirklich um das Wohl der Gäste besorgt. Nette Unterhaltungen mit den Gastgebern war auf Französisch, Englisch und auch auf Deutsch möglich, es gab gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und für Restaurants. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, mit lokalen und selbsterzeugten Produkten, außergewöhnlichen Marmeladen und Getränken und es gab jeden Morgen Selbstgebackenes dazu (Merci beaucoup Jerome). Im sehr gemütlichen Wintergarten gab es einen Getränkekühlschrank zur Selbstbedienung mit tollen Weinen und mehr. Auch sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Alles war gut, lediglich muss man zu belebteren Orten mit dem Auto fahren, da die Lage etwas abseits ist. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, sollte um ein Zimmer bitten, welches nicht ganz oben liegt, da hier etliche Stufen zu überwinden sind.

• Armin (9/5): Immer wieder gerne. - Wir haben uns bei Nadàge und Jérome sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war groß, sehr freundlich und hatte drei Balkone. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Schönes Badezimmer, sehr bequemes Bett und alles sehr sauber. Am Rande des Dorfes liegt die Unterkunft im Grunde mitten in der Natur und sehr ruhig und entspannend. Nadège und Jérome sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber und haben uns tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben. Tolles Frühstück mit eignen Produkten.

Das Frühstück in dieser entspannten Atmosphäre ist wirklich mit Liebe gemacht und die selbst gemachten Produkte mehr als empfehlenswert. Das Badezimmer ist super groß und das Bett war sehr bequem. Ich konnte außergewöhnlich gut schlafen! Die Gastgeber sind äußerst sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Ich werde sicher wieder kommen!!!

The hosts, Jerome & Nadege, were lovely - very helpful & kind. Our room was clean & comfortable & the breakfast was delightful. They have Donkeys too! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The only thing I would say is there are a lot of stairs to get to your room at this accommodation. If you are infirm or very unfit or very elderly this may not be the property for you.

I booked this place wanting to sit on the patio pictured and drink wine or have a beautiful view from our window, but we were not able to. They had seating options in a winter garden or on the lawn, but you were not able to see the scenery from there due to trees blocking it. Overall good stay, just not what I had imagined based on the pictures.

Beautiful, spacious rooms and a nice garden outside with plenty of seating. Jerome was an excellent chef and the included breakfast was fantastic. Nadège was especially helpful in finding a restaurant that could accommodate my food allergies. Nothing!

The gentleman host was lovely but the lady (apologies… unforgivable for forgetting their names) was rather mercurial. In one moment helpful and pleasant and the next encounter a bit rude. One of us popped into the breakfast area to ask a simple question an hour after breakfast and was curtly told this area was off limits to guests!! How on earth was anyone meant to know this? Very upsetting as we were so courteous and polite.

They are obviously so proud of their delightful building and provide every comfort possible. We were made very welcome and much advice was given when asked. Our room was peaceful, large and very comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and would very happily return. No suggestions for improvement, although access to the building via steps, and the internal circular staircase, can be tricky for less mobile guests.

• Shirley (9/5): Beautiful location and kind owners! - Location was superb! Huge house in the forest with several rooms for rent, big garden. Nice and quiet environment. Really kind and helpful owners. We stayed for 3 nights and missed every breakfast (which started from 08:30) because we had to leave early in the mornings. Perhaps a take-away breakfast would be an option for guests who cannot join breakfast.

The bedroom was spacious with an ensuite shower and separate toilet within the room. There was a large private balcony off the room with lots of seating and a view of the gardens and beyond. There is a sitting room with a help yourself small bar (write down what you've taken and pay later) and microwave, near the entrance of the house. The cider is delicious! The house is large with a very peaceful ambience. Happy with everything.

• Noam (10/5): Great hosts of a wonderful place! - We booked a double room and the suite for our 3 daughters. The place is beautiful, the rooms are spacy and comfortable. The location is great - close to Bergheim, Ribeauvillé, Requiwihr - amazing towns. Very nice breakfast! And the best part - the hosts are so nice and helpful! And they speak English! Oh, and there's an electric piano there. What else could I ask for? ;) A lot of stairs, if you stay on the third floor. Not very comfortable for big luggage, but reasonable.
