• mariana (3/5): Desapontante - Não ficamos neste alojamento que escolhi. Fizeram-nos o upgrade para o sophia castle view e foi horrível. Mesmo no centro da confusão, barulho desde as 6h30 da manhã Duas vezes pedi para entregarem o pequeno-almoço às 10h e das duas vezes entregaram às 8h40, acordaram-nos embora eu tenha pedido para ser mais tarde pois estou de férias e quero descansar, para além disso era muito básico o pequeno-almoço, ridículo. Água,sumo de laranja de pacote, uma peça de fruta e uma sande de pão de forma quase vazia. Nada de café,leite,ovos, croissant, bolo, iogurte ou cereais. Eu queria o pequeno-almoço de buffet que era o que tinha reservado para o hotel sophia boutique hotel.

Easy access to Oia city and bus to go to others cities around. The breakfast could have more options. The bar is only open for a few hours then there’s no staff at the property at all (?)
• Léa (9/5): Séjour incroyable à santorin - Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Mention spéciale à Cleopatra, qui parlait parfaitement français : elle a été adorable, très accueillante et nous a donné d’excellents conseils pour profiter de l’île. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment très bon, avec un système d’application moderne et super pratique pour commander. La chambre était parfaite, spacieuse et confortable, et nous avons adoré le jacuzzi privé, un vrai plus pour se détendre le soir. Oia était également facile d’accès et a été finalement notre endroit préféré à santorin, on pouvait s’y rendre à pied, ce qui a beaucoup simplifié nos sorties. Seul petit point négatif : les serviettes n’étaient pas changées assez souvent, ce qui était un peu compliqué étant donné que la chambre est assez humide. De plus, le ménage n’était pas toujours parfaitement fait à notre retour. Malgré cela, nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour et nous recommandons chaudement cet établissement.

• Hellie (10/5): Beautiful, quirky, stylish hotel. - Sophia Boutique was stylish and quirky, just what we wanted, something a bit different. Set just outside of Oia in a quiet village. It was end of the season though. Took us fifteen minutes to walk in to Oia (and we're in our sixties!) Car park on the street opposite, then a walk down a long, windy ,cobbled pathway to the hotel. Friendly greeting from Ana, who was very informative, offers of transfers anywhere. Our room had a plunge pool, just step out of a door and jump in! The huge, comfy bed was up some steps which was cute ( no rail to hold onto coming down though). Great 'open' stone shower. Had everything we needed, cold water on arrival, mini fridge, iron, gown and slippers, towels and beach towels, kettle. Real cups...not cardboard. Free breakfast is ordered daily, for in your room or by the pool, expect Greek style, nice selection. Surroundings were glorious , stylish seating areas, lush, padded sunbeds. Cold pool but lovely when in there, great for photos. All staff were friendly and polite. Highly recommend. Thank you for giving me a room which is my name, personal touch! These would just enhance our experience: Teabags are supplied, but no coffee or milk sachets. A chair in the room would be a nice touch. There were small wicker stools by our plunge pool, but we tended to sit on the stone stairs. Complimentary toiletries would have been a nice touch, even a small soap.

L’hôtel est magnifique L’hôtel’n’est pas loin de oia 15 mn de marche Un arrêt de bus est à 2 mn de l’hôtel Un grand merci à cleopatra !
• Amelie (8/5): - Notre suite avec bain à remous était exceptionnelle. La vue est magnifique. Le personnel pourrait être vraiment accueillant, mais ils sont tout juste aimable. Pour le petit déjeuner il faut les commander la veille pour le lendemain et pourtant le matin il manque des produits ... puis il faut demander les serviettes, les couverts, le café, on a l'impression de déranger... c'est dommage. Je suis quand même surprise car en consultant les autres avis, le personnel est visiblement plus sympathique selon les clients. Tant mieux :)

Очень приятные девушки Анна и Клеопатра во всем нам помогали, помогли организовать моей дочке сюрприз на мой день рождение) а бонусом ко всему это чуду нам сделали апгрейд на великолепную виллу!!! • Sára (7/5): Hezký hotel - Lokalita hotelu je skvělá-pár minut chůze od Oia. Hezký pokoj se soukromým bazénem a výhledem na moře. Z pokoje byl nádherný výhled na západ slunce, toto bylo na celém hotelu to nejlepší. Recepční byly velice příjemné a ochotné. Hotel má krásný společný bazén, prostředí hotelu vypadá skvěle ale pokud se více rozhlédnete potřeboval by lepší úklid a péči. Hotel má sice bar, ale koktejly se podávají jen v určitý čas což nechápu a ani jsme na to nebyli upozorněni. Snídaně objednáváte přes mobilní aplikaci což je super, ale bohužel nebyly dobré. Jídlo je spíše polotovar,raději jsme chodili na snídaně jinam. Pokoje by potřebovali lepší úklid. Celkově jsme asi podle fotek čekali více, je to škoda protože by stačilo lépe uklidit a podávat chutnější snídaně a hned by byl celkový dojem jiný. V hotelu se nám ale líbilo avšak kvůli zmíněným negativům by jsme se již zpátky nevrátili.
• Piero (4/5): Lovely but with a lot, really a lot to improve. - The room itself had a wonderful view on the sunset, without all the crowds of tourists around. Cleopatra was very helpful in organising a private proposal dinner in one of their other locations and everything was perfect, from the amazing and abundant food to the view on the sunset in Imerovigli. Also a big thanks to Said and Alex for the amazing evening. The room was quite small and the pictures on the ad were quite misleading; there was not a private bathroom, the shower was open on the bedroom without even a curtain. The toilet itself was on a small cubicle; luckily it had a door but it also had two decorative holes on each side of the wall from where you could easily see and hear the person using the toilet. There was no closet at all, just a stick with few hangers covered with a small curtain; we stayed 8 nights, so we brought a lot of clothes that had to stay inside the luggage and fished from it every evening to go out. Underneath the clothes hangers was the mini fridge and the safe. On top of the mini fridge we found the kettle with cups, spoon, 2 bags of English tea and some sugar. No signs of any kind of coffee, not even the small bags of nescafe, we had to buy our own to have it in the morning (and every time we were boiling water with the kettle, all the steam was going on our hanged clothes). We were very excited about breakfast, seen the reviews, but it was a total disappointment: omelettes and eggs were coming cold, bakery basket was made by 2 mini croissants under proofed and overcooked and one slice of white bread cut in half. We decided to have breakfast every morning elsewhere even if it was included in the room rate. The cups and the glasses were not cleaned during turnover, they’ve been cleaned for the first time only after 6 nights. We’ve been told the towels were changed every 3 days in order to be more sustainable for our planet, but after 4 days I had to ask for them to be changed. Also the one bottle of water we found on arrival was supposed to be refilled every day but this never happened; I had to ask twice to have it refilled and after I just fed up and bought my own water. We did pay a discounted price because we went at the end of season, but we didn’t expect to have “discounted” services, we still paid almost 170£ per night. If we had to pay full price, we would have been furious.

Also it was very quiet in the hotel which was a big bonus. Only 15-20 mins walk into main town Oia for dinners and mooching around. The breakfast was also a highlight of the hotel, very large everyday! Would highly recommend to friends!

• Chia (9/5): It’s a perfect location for us to view Oia village, but the path to the hotel was a bit rough to walk. - Overall experiences are wonderful, service in particular. Nice employees and excellent customer service from what I have felt from the hotel’s reception. Some small details of the corners in the room could be even better but there are none unsatisfying parts.
• Katarzyna (10/5): I’m obsessed with this place - love it! - Our stay was amazing - the hotel was great and staff was so lovely and helpfull all the time! Everything was perfect. Sunsets are totally stunning - there is no place with such an amazing sunset view. Really near to Oia - around 10min by walk. It was a really calm, slow and quite stay but so close to center of Oia. Additionally it was my birthday and hotel staff suprised me with birthday cake! It was so wonderful. We are dissappointed that we didnt book more nights here - only 3. There was nothing to complain about
• Bejal (10/5): Beautiful hotel and staff, would stay here again! - Staff were amazing, so kind and friendly. They went above an beyond to make us comfortable and help us! We arranged a car hire with them and they accommodated right away. They gave us good recommendations for things to do in Oia and what to visit around the island. The hotel is beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing, it is a boutique so there weren't loads of guests and we could use all the facilities freely and had privacy. Crystal went above and beyond for us and was a pleasure to see everyday! Breakfast was lovely with amazing views over the island. The shower in our room was nice but it had no door, it was an open stone style concept which is lovely but might be something to consider if sharing a room. Does not have a caldera view but does have stunning views over the island. Not that close of a walk to Oia and is slightly uphill so be mindful if you have walking difficulties.

The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was very nice and lovely to chose if we want it in the room or by the pool. We opted for in our room to enjoy the beautiful view from our roof terrace. Extremely well located at a 15min walk to Oia, easy and big car park at the hotel. Magnificent sunset in the evening. Quiet area which we loved but still walking distance to lots of restaurants. Nothing we had a wonderful time and hope to come back in September. If we are being very picky, we could have done with a little bit more storage space for our clothes maybe but we don't tend to travel so light ;-)

The staff didn’t knock and opened the room door walking in on myself having a shower. The cleaning staff was coming unannounced from the patio while we were in the pool enjoying our privacy. The added value for this hotel should be the privacy, but it wasn’t the case. the water is not drinkable meaning you have to buy your own water. The staff leaves you a bottle a day but if you finish it you cannot refill it, you have to pay for it. This is ridiculous considering this is supposed to be a luxury hotel.

Very friendly staff who want you to have an enjoyable and relaxed holiday. The suite was great and the resort is very well maintained and private. Nice touches such as unlimited private plunge pool included in your suite that was topped up through out the entire stay. They served sumptuous breakfast at your private plunge pool. Having said this, its so nice to be served rather than having a self serve buffet. The rooms are gorgeous with heavenly views of the entire caldera the sea and best sunset views of OIA. Perfect location, delicious breakfast and the most helpful staff - would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for making our Santorini trip the best vacation ever on the most beautiful island. Kudos to Melissa, front desk, also the beautiful manager and the rest of the staff.

• Jp (9/5): Would we go again? ABSOLUTELY! Chic, relaxing, & peaceful. - Wow what a place?! As soon as you arrive, you know you've made a good decision. Small in size, but sooooo relaxing and makes you feel a little bougee! The location had a stunning view of the sunset, which we loved every night. What a GORGEOUS room, if a tad on the small side. Bright, white and so Greek, exactly what we wanted. But it does have great air conditioning! We loved our arrival wine, which was a very nice touch. We also loved that towels were all ready for us on the sunbeds too. Aesthetically it was stunning, so chic! I would be picking, and looking for things. I suppose more hangers would have been good in the wardrobe area, or more places to store our clothes.

• Lisa (4/5): Disappointing - You are paying for three things here: the fact that we are on Santorini (=high prices), the sunset view (absolutely beautiful!) and the private plunge pool. Our room had a moldy smell and I had dry eyes and runny nose after every night spent there. We had to have a dehumidifier running in the room all the time. The room was pretty worn down, with a sagging bed and marks on walls. The plunge pool had dirty pillows in the hang out area and smelly mattresses. Our room was in a dark corner of the hotel and we did not feel safe at night. It is a good 20+ minutes walk to Oia, and only a handful of restaurants available in the nearby area (Finikia). Basically, I would not recommend this hotel, not even at half of the price.
• Tara (9/5): Incredibly relaxing and peaceful, fantastic staff, comfy bed and easy to get anywhere. - The location of Sophia Boutique is great - wander down the lanes and steps into Finikia where they are some fantastic restaurants. A short taxi trip or 1.5km walk into Oia and reception can organise a taxi or you can get the bus. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and incredibly helpful. The breakfast was delicious and loads of choice. Bar service at the pool was great and it was super relaxing just lying by the pool or in your plunge pool with stunning views across the sea to the island of Ios and other islands. The bed was extremely comfortable and although small and compact the room was perfect with the shower, basin and toilet being in the room as opposed to a separate bathroom. A little more hanging space/space to store and unpack clothes would have been useful.

• Roger (8/5): Great hotel - recommended - Very nice hotel located a few kilometers from Oia center. Two excellent restaurants close to the hotel: Meze Meze and Finikia. Great service! My wife forgot her cap and sunglasses during the check-out. The person at the reception went out of her way to send a chauffeur with these items, at no charge, to Fira where we stayed the next couple of days. It was too early in the season to use the private pool and large swimming pool, both unheated.
• Dunn (9/5): Great stay will surely visit again when the weather is warmer. - love the location and the views. the staff were friendly and loved seeing the same faces everyday, the man that helped with breakfast and room services was such a delight! hope to visit again. when we arrived the pool needed a clean but it was completely understandable as the bugs build up throughout the day. the hotel made sure the pools where cleaned throughout the day.

The beds were to die for (sooo comfy); lovely Office staff, and the barman Patrick thoughtful of guests needs, and lends and elegance to everything. Ordered a meal that wasn't breakfast which was very mediocre; and transfers were very expensive

• Gaia (8/5): Great location but not great staff communication - It is located in a quiet location around 15 minutes walking from the center of Oia. We had a great welcome with local fruit and wine and breakfast was very rich. Communication with some of manager was not great; when I made the reservation there were still 5 superior rooms available and it was clear from the preview reviews that some of the superior rooms had a hot tub in the room, rather then on a separate terrace. I sent them a message to ask if we could get that room, considering that all the superior rooms where available and that point, but they ignored my request and I’ve never received any reply ( when arrived we were given the room with the hot tub not in the room). Not a huge deal but it would have been great not to be completely ignored! Instead we received multiple messages days before our holiday to ask what time we were arriving. I replied (I also filled up the space on booking app) but apparently it was ignored again and they kept messaging me, even called me in the middle of the day while in a meeting to ask the same question I had already answered. Lastly, and this is the most disappointing part, we asked the reception manager the bus timetable considering that the bus stop is just outside the hotel. He gave us the time table, showed us the column with the times BUT completely failed to tell us that the bus DO NOT stop at that bust stop outside the hotel, in the Thera direction, it only stops there on the way from Thera. ( I find quite unbelievable that he didn’t know about it). As a result we waited for more than a hour by the street and missed the last sunset of our holiday thanks to that.

• Jamila (8/5): Great staff and location is a good change of scenery! - I really love the staff of this hotel, they were able to accommodate with everything and amazing staff overall. However, our pool was not working and not warm. But, we were happy to be able to spend small 2 night stay in Finikia. We stayed mostly in Oia - a nice change of scenery is always a plus! Just hot tub on the top floor was not working. But I think it's also because we didn't ask for it to be turned on.

A very relaxed vibe, clean and with the most accommodating staff that were so welcoming and made our stay perfect with the most amazing ‘made to order’ breakfast every morning To top it off lovely views of the sea and sunset. • Michelle (8/5): lovely hotel and staff🫶 - the room was very nice and clean and the rooftop was nice and secluded. Apostolos was very helpful as were all the staff at the hotel. The plunge pool did not heat up and was no where near 27 degrees. The room advertised cable TV but we were unable to access any channels other than Arabic. When we asked about this we were advised it was due to poor wifi connection but TV settings showed that there was no connection set up.
