Guest Reviews

- Huda (9/5): - excellent, friendly and helpful staff!
- Yadav (8/5): -
- nicolas (10/5): Superbe expérience - Le lieu est fantastique
L'accueil est chaleureux : on se sent a la maison.
La gentillesse d’Ahmad, Rim et Roro est touchante. Rien
- Francisco (9/5): Not fancy but cozy. Amazing food and exceptional reception team! Specially Ahmed Ali! - Don’t expect anything fancy. Simple, but cozy and comfortable. The reception team was amazing — especially Ahmed Ali, who made the experience even better. And you absolutely shouldn’t miss trying the local food — it’s a must!
- Ryan (10/5): Great hospitality and a delicious breakfast in a beautiful setting. - Very welcoming hosts, clean and comfortable room, and a peaceful location in the Nubian Village. The breakfast was fresh and really good each morning. Nothing significant.
- Tanya (9/5): -
- Tristan (8/5): Goed prijs-kwaliteit verhouding en vriendelijk personeel - Het was rustige gelegen. Personeel was vriendelijk Ons douchputje was verstopt, waardoor de badkamer elke keer volstond met water. En koelkast was helaas kapot
- Qun (6/5): - Good breakfast Far from center, hard to have taxi
- Dylan (10/5): Great value good people - Hosts very helpful great location Nothing

- Danitza Belen (10/5): Good - Breakfast delicious! The Host was really friendly and helpful
- Konstantina (10/5): Great option for one or two nights! - I loved the whole building from outside to inside the colours everything looked so traditional!
The room was clean with warm sheets and air condition
The breakfast was very tasteful!

- Laura1697 (10/5): - El tracta del personal .
- Mohamed Mezri (10/5): Like a dream - This guesthouse is the best place in the world, Mr Eden is so peaceful man and so friendly guy and so good and honest if you get to aswan you need to be here nothing
- Brigitte (9/5): Superb -
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evan (9/5): Superb -
- Trung (10/5): Exceptional - I highly recommend this hotel! The staff's hospitality was outstanding. I arrived very late (around 4 AM), and they graciously waited for me to check in, which was incredibly helpful after a long journey. They offered fantastic support despite the late hour. Moreover, when I had to leave early, they went above and beyond by preparing breakfast for me ahead of time. I was deeply impressed and grateful for their kindness and excellent service throughout my short stay
- Kml75 (10/5): Great staff and delicious breakfast! - The staff is amazing. We have a late flight, and we got there after 10:30 pm, so they woke up and took care of us. Thank you so much for that.
The breakfast was very authentic and delicious. It was our best breakfast in Egypt.
The nubian decoration and layout are
beautiful. An authentic nubian house.
The rooms are modest, but with all things necessary. They arranged our ride to the cruise boat very fast and efficient. The location is a little far away, but any taxi takes you there.
- Mohammed (10/5): Exceptional - The house looks amazing. you will feel like you are living inside Nubian museum.they will welcome you with a warm smile like the sun there.the room is a bit small but it's very clean have all you need.
Special thanks to uncle Adan for helping and support
I 1000000% recommend
- Farheen (1/5): Bad - The host and the food Nothing really .I was not able to sleep all night as the rooms were full of mosquitos and there was no current for almost 3 hrs at night and there was no power backup . it was a nightmare and feels like the reviews are totally bought.
- Shihab (5/5): Dinner was overpriced and bad, breakfast was not good either. -
- Ahmed (10/5): Excellent - beautiful and comfortable Nothing
- Hana (10/5): Exceptional - Wooooow really thanks everyone, the hotel is beautiful really i love it , its vibrantly decorated. Every corner is photogenic. The room was big and spacious each room have nice bathroom and shower. Its only 5 minutes walk from er
the main Nubian Village. Either right or left turn from the main road there is a lot to see and explore. If you want to explore the houses, Nubian village and the culture its the perfect location.
The staff were absolutely amazing , kind , Very friendly and understanding. They even prepared me breakfast for the day I was departing as I was checking out before the breakfast time. They kindly prepared me breakfast takeaway without me even asking for it. The sunset from the room looked almost like a painting on a canvas
Very quiet place and clean
Thanks everyone .
- Minic (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional - wonderful place , full of colors , clean room
i loved the food there as well
- Diao (10/5): The best experience in Aswan with Nubian people. - I spent time with the Nubian family running the guesthouse. Mr Adan was very nice with me, he offered me to join him while he was eating traditional nubian food many times. All the family helped me settle in Aswan. Ahmed, an employee of the guesthouse was my guide the whole time. With him I got to see the real Aswan and experience the nubian way of life, and he teached me some words in Nubian language.
They helped me arrange all my plans, from itinerary, to transportation, prices, budget and so on.
Thanks to Ahmed, Mr Adan, Ruru and Fatuma.
I will be back for sure!
🥰🥰🥰🥰
- Miklos (10/5): Exceptional - All was fine, very stylish location, Adan is a very kind manager, modern and cleann rooms. We recommend the hotel for everyone.
- Sandra (8/5): Special stay in a traditional place - Traditional Nubian guesthouse. Lovely view and traditional breakfast. Staff welcoming. Nice colors. No sheets in the bed. Toilet paper only upon request. If arriving too late, no possibility to have diner. I think that you have to book it in advance. Very loud as in the early morning prayers in front of the house.
- ايهاب (10/5): I liked it thanks for Adan and the rest for welcoming - Very nice and quite place Location is little far from center
- Jaimee (3/5): Worst stay in Egypt. I cannot believe the positive reviews. - I did not enjoy any aspect of this stay When we arrived it was a ghost town despite letting them know prior our time of arrival. After maybe 20 minutes of sta ding around shocked looking in doors etc some people turns up and showed us to a room.
There were no towels or anything provided.
The room was very noisy, through the night I could hear my neighbour snoring and from very early there was motorbikes racing around and around blaring shouting from speakers, it sounded like some kind of advertisement, not the call to prayer.
After wishing I had brought earplugs I went to the dining room for breakfast by myself as my son didn't trust the food. I was told that the breakfast can only be made for the 2 people on the booking not just one, so I left with an empty stomach.
We quickly arranged a taxi and left. Worst stay in Egypt by a long shot, I cannot believe this place has ANY positive reviews.
- Susnic (8/5): Good Place to Stay inside Nubian Village - The colours of the hotel is wonderful. Welcoming family. Neat and tidy washrooms. Good Food. Inside Nubian Village and close to the market and Ferry. Great Location if you are planning to Explore Aswan by Boat. They may have Nubian songs and dance some days. As inside Nubian Village it was difficult to get a taxi back from Aswan City. Also if you arrange Abu Simbel trip with any other hotel or company after staying here, you may need to arrange a Tuk-Tuk at 4am in the morning to take you to Aswan Dam.
- Elfekey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harmen (8/5): Authentic Nubian hospitality and great buffet food. - Very nice atmosphere. I was lucky that on my first night there was a great trio playing Nubian music I was the first guest in one of the new rooms. They are great, only the wifi signal of the hotel was very weak there. They will need to install an extender to reinforce the signal.
- Leila (9/5): Beautiful cultural hotel with wonderful staff. - The hotel is beautiful and vibrantly decorated. Every corner is photogenic. The room was big and spacious. Its only 5 minutes walk from the main Nubian Village. Either right or left turn from the main road there is a lot to see and explore. If you want to explore the houses, Nubian village and the culture its the perfect location. The staff was absolutely amaxing. Very friendly and understanding. They offered shuttle at the fraction of what the taxi in the airport was quoting. They even prepared me breakfast for the day I was departing as I was checking out before the breakfast time. They kindly prepared me breakfast takeaway without me even asking for it. The sunset from the room looked almost like a painting on a canvas. I probably didn't like the bathroom. Otherwise everything was great.
- Samantha (8/5): Very good - The host was amazing and very friendly. Evening buffet was very good genuine food
- Anders (9/5): Beautiful and nice stay - The guesthouse is authentic, beautiful, newly painted with vibrant colours, and we had a really charming and clean room with aircondition and hairdryer. Adan was a nice host, and the food was good (we had breakfast and dinner). We enjoyed our stay. The location is on top of the hill from the village market, and the taxis and busses don't really go up here. You can get a tuk-tuk though. No wifi in the room, only in common area. Conversations were difficult as they dont speak English very well. The host sat with us while we ate which was a little awkward because of the English issue. A lot of mosquitos in our room. Some areas such as rooftop are under renovation.
- Alana (10/5): Our best experience in Egypt as solo female travelers - We were welcomed with a big smile by Ahmed and even though there was a little language barrier, everything went smoothly. Having a translator set on your phone goes a long way. The place is beautiful and the room was so comfortable and clean! We also had lunch at the property and it was the best meal we had in Egypt. They also gave us a packed meal to take to Abul Simbel on the next day. As 2 female travelers we felt very safe and respected. It's a bit tricky to get to the hotel, but it was very very worth it. We were very happy with our stay! 10/10! Nothing to report! Everything was great.
- Redu (8/5): Very pleasant place! - Adan was amazing with us! And a very good place to see how a Nubian family lives. Maybe the bathroom quite small, and without an independent shower. The floor of the bathroom is the shower.
- Ivan (1/5): Avoid this place - Poor communication
Obsessive people
Constantly begging for tips
Terrible shower
No Wi-Fi
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful guest House in a super cute village!
The colour are amazing in the middle of sand road.
The staff was really nice and helpful!
The food was the best we had in Egypt so far 🤩
- Samy (8/5): Very good -
- Vigneshs87 (10/5): Amazing hosts and incredible hospitality - Adhaan and gang were super friendly. The food was out of this world and the place was quiet and comfortable
It felt more like a family home and less like a hotel
- Jackee (9/5): Superb - We loved the food. It was a home cooked meal and very tasty. The family was very accommodating.
They did our laundry, took us to the village and personally took us to the airport.
We had a great relaxing stay. No WiFi.
- Lewis (8/5): Very good - Beautiful, and extremely comfortable rooms staff were kind and breakfast is delicious Location is close to the Nubian village but if you want to spend some time in town getting over there is quite expensive as you may have to take a boat to go down the nile. However tours were very easily booked and we were given a packed lunch to Abu Simbel as well as the trip not being expensive.
- Sampda (10/5): Beautiful home in the Nubian village. I’d highly recommend Fadlos Anay to anyone planning Aswan - Amazing Nubian hospitality, delicious and abundant home cooked meals (both meat and vegetarian), great time spent talking to Adan and the family, a lot of beautiful Nubian art and culture! 100/100
- Derya (8/5): Very good -
- Qi (9/5): Superb -
- Mohammed (10/5): will definitely come again - everything is perfect nothing
- Mohammed (10/5): Best place to stay at in Aswan - everything is exceptional here, building, facility and the people.. welcoming place with amazing customer service, my words won’t describe this place or the people who work there.. it’s the best place to stay at in Aswan for sure.. I’m speechless nothing everything is superb !
- Gregory (10/5): A gem! - The food…was simply divine. The hosts prepared authentic Nubian cuisine that was bursting with flavors. From traditional stews to mouthwatering grilled meats, every meal was a amazing! it’s hard to get there, but it worth the road…!
- 324winnie (2/5): Avoid this place... - It's a real village... It's very far away from Aswan, and difficult to reach by public transport. Taxis always rip you off, you never get Egyptian price for taxis. If you want to find a hotel in Aswan, it's much better if you book one in the center or Elephantine island.
The shower head in the bathroom is broken, water leaks from the connection part.
- Baraa (10/5): Exceptional - Comfy and warm. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
- Dmitrii (9/5): Superb -
- Carolillanes (8/5): Authentic nubian place to stay - Beautiful place, friendly staff, tasty and filling breakfast. They offer dinner which it was nice. The room had a ceiling fan. The address on booking is not right, it's further than shown on the map(Make sure to call before and ask for the address). Misscommunication with them as they didn't have very good english. Shower next to the w.c and floor level. Drain blockage in shower, difficult to take even a quick shower as water was almost going out of bathroom.
- Katharina (10/5): Stay at and support locals - It's a great experience to stay on the other side of Assuan, up hill in the Nubian area. You can reach the guesthouse with a taxi or tuktuk. The host are very nice people and enjoy talking to you. Addan taught us a bit of Nubian language and showed us a important prayer of Islam.
Addans wife is cooking incredible. It was the best Egyptian food you will probably eat in your trip.
It is always best to stay with locals when you want authentic contact to them.
The rooms are very comfortable and big. Breakfast was included and amazing.
But don't expect it to be a hotel with a 24/7 reception, it's is a guesthouse where the family lives :) -
- Mansura (7/5): cozy , safe and friendly - We felt very welcomed by Mahmoud. It is a very beautiful and calm place. The homemade food umis the best which I had in Egypt so far. Our room was great for having good dreams and you can adjust the temperature with an ac or ventilator. You can feel the spirit of the community by walking around or getting on a feluca boat and just relax :)) location is far away from the train station. it's inside a nice Nubian village. staff pick us possible, if you ask them.
- Ine (9/5): Great stay! - It was nice to stay out of the main city and experience the life in the Nubian Village. Safe to walk at night. Also nice to take the motor boat back from the city. Ask the owner for his friend Mizo, very friendly guy that has a motor boat and a fallucea to cross the Nile. Breakfast is great, staff friendly, good aircon,
clean, and a very pretty Nubian house. Our shower was a bit broken, needs to be fixed. Otherwise it was very nice!!
- Toka (10/5): exelant - The stuff was very good and lovely
you feel like you are setting with your family
Mahmoud the oner of the place is very kind man
- Priscila (10/5): Exceptional - The best place! The breakfast, accommodation and staff are amazing.
- Nesma (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very kind and helpful and the service was exceptional. Mr Mahmoud, the owner, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, he helped us with everything around here.
The hotel is very vibrant and colourful which gives you a great nubian experience.
The food was very tasty (breakfast and dinner) and the rooms were clean.
We will be definitely coming back 😊
