• Kristina (7/5): Overall a good stay - Great location on a quiet street. All the amenities we needed in the apartment. Smooth check in process. Good wifi and portacot was provided too The layout wasnt suitable with a 4 month old. Even though room was separate, it needed to be closed off so baby could take naps. Also there was no lift to our room so I had to leave the pram in the car and go up and down a couple of cases of stairs with my baby and then get pram from car when we wanted to leave. Next time I probably need to be more clear as to the age of my baby.

• Nicole Stace (9/5): - We always like to stay here when visiting Newcastle. An easy drive to the John Hunter hospital and only just around the corner from Charlestown Square. Close to some great coffee shops. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and quiet. Renovations (painting) was being undertaken, which we weren't aware of, so I had to walk through their work site, under ladders, wet paint etc which I was ok with but made it difficult with luggage as I had to carry bags (not wheel) up stairs and corridors.

• Guruprasada (9/5): Handy spot to anchor Newcastle visit - This was a good sized split level apartment with functional kitchen and laundry. There were balconies on the ground and upper levels. Secure car park and elevator rounded up the facilities nicely. The management was prompt and responsive when contacted about check-in. Very clean and well maintained property too. This is in a convenient location w.r.t Newcastle CBD, all the good beaches and had a big shopping centre nearby. Nothing aside from the noise the washing machine made, especially in the spin cycle ;-)

The only negative note I have is we asked for late check out and it was approved and paid for only for the cleaners to come in at 10am to let us know that someone was checking in at 1pm and we need to be out so they can start cleaning. Glass door was cracked. See all photos. I have posted quite a few, but so far they are not visible. Not executive standard at all. Old/dated. No headboard. Ice tray was disgusting. Only one chair inside the unit. Rust on vanity door handles.

• Kate (4/5): Disappointing Stay - The check in was easy enough and the apartment was spacious enough. Beds were comfy and apartment was clean. It was good to have a lift Having both bathrooms located upstairs was quite inconvenient. We were also required to pay a $100 bond prior to our stay. After checkout, we were unfairly accused of spilling beer, leaving excessive rubbish, and leaving numerous empty alcohol bottles. In reality, there was only one empty beer bottle and half a bottle of champagne between four people. Despite this, our bond was withheld because we left a neatly packed box of rubbish on the bench. When we attempted to dispute these claims, our messages were ignored on four separate occasions, which was extremely frustrating. Additionally, we felt unsafe in the neighbourhood. One member of our group was physically assaulted by a neighbour following a parking disagreement, which was a very concerning experience.

• Fabian (10/5): Highly recommended staying there and look forward to going back - I loved everything about it. I was allowed to check in a bit earlier with out any dramas. Secure parking. The access with coded entry was perfect. The presentation of the apartment was modern and was perfect in every way. Presentation of the soaps etc was straight out of a magazine I didn’t look properly but I think there was no microwave lol Maybe could of done with extra milk and coffee pods But that’s just irrelevant anyway.

However, we spot insects/cockroaches in both downstairs and upstairs, and there was no insects spray in the apartment.

I had planned for my 90 year old brother to visit but this was not possible due to the stairs and not toilet facilities on the ground floor. It would have been nice to know about the stairs before booking. I had tried to book another unit for my brother but luckily non were available as it would be impossibe for him to stay.
