• Katherine (3/5): Not comfortable - This is the first time I rated low scores in booking. I now find the unmanned hotels are no longer on my list. It's inconvenient, especially with communication. It takes a longer time to get a response. Sorry, I have a low rating, for I really do not like anything about it. It was an old building, not feeling safe, has small room, and there were 3 of us. This room is for at least 2 people. No space for luggage and bathroom is so small. There is also a time limit for a hot shower, or else you will wait for hot water at 8 am. I thought it was not close to Hakata station, but it's about 20 mins. It's my fault for booking this for my family.

• Sharon (3/5): Poor - Host was very nice and responsive and the location was great. The room smelled because the bathroom smelled - the apartment complex seemed to have a plumbing issue which we only found out once we reached out to the host letting them know the smell was bad. So even though the beds were comfortable staying there wasn’t because of the smell.
• Theresa (2/5): Unsatisfying - Self check in was easy. The apartment was really small, we couldn’t really move around (2 people). There was supposed to be a kitchen, but in our unit it was forbidden to use the stove, which was not mentioned bevor booking. We just saw it when we arrived. The worst part was the cleaning fee, which was almost as high as the rent itself! We just stayed there for one night and it was like paying for two - an again, it was not mentioned while booking, I only realised it, when payment was already completed.

• Luc (8/5): Simple, but very good for short stay solo travel! - Simple, but perfectly suited to my trip (few nights as a solo traveller). Could find the place easily using Google Maps. Check in was through an online link I received, worked fine. 15 mins walk from Hakata station and a bit of a walk away from all the central shopping malls etc, but very close to all the (gay)bars in Sumiyoshi. Not a lot of space, e.g. for luggage, but since I had two beds I could just put my backpack on the second bed :). Had a few pieces of cutlery and plates (and a microwave + kettle), but was limited.

• Fatimah (9/5): Superb - Around 20 minutes' walking distance from Hakata Station. There is hot water, but it took time to adjust. There are Aeon groceries, Family Mart and Sunny for grocery shopping. Quite neighbourhood, but it tends to get a bit noisy at night, but I still have a good sleep as I'm too tired 😅. The owner is very responsive to any query. The room is quite spacious for solo travellers but not double occupancy if you're muslim as the space is limited. You have to open close your bag for praying. There are balconies in the room. Overall, it was a good stay for me.

• Windy (6/5): Worth it for the nearby locations. Might be more okay for solo travelers. A good, cheap choice. - There are several options of grocery stores nearby to shop at, besides your usual conbini. Sumiyoshi Shrine is also nearby. JR Hakata Station is walkable (more than 15 minutes away), although it might be a struggle for people with mobility issues due to several streets you will have to cross to get there. Kitchen: Kitchen has provided utensils and cookware, but the only pot they provided doesn't have a lid (we had to buy an aluminum foil as an alternative lid). Space: Also, we are a family of three adults who stayed here. In the room we were provided, the only available walkspace on the floor has enough space for 1 luggage bag to fit (and this is assuming you don't actually have a luggage bag with you, this is just for measurement). It was kind of hard to move around. I had to check the gallery of the property again to see if that's really the only property they had for 3 people, and it seems they still have a room that could fit at least 2 luggage bags (placed on its back). Cleanliness: The room was clean when we arrived. We weren't expecting any kind of cleaning service at all during our stay, but we stayed for 7 days, I wonder why there wasn't at least a broom provided in the room (we are definitely willing to sweep the floor ourselves). The floor is bound to get dirty no matter how careful you are, and we had to endure walking around on a dirty floor in the middle of our stay.

• Jose (8/5): Good but could have have better. - Near in central or Hakata Station, few meters from commodities and bus stations. Place does not have an elevator or something similar, we have a senior citizen which had difficulty walking so it was quite a challenge going up and down, we were on the 4th and 5th floor respectively, but overall experience is good.
• Miriam (7/5): As a backpacker, this was way beyond my expectations. Would book again! - Very nice location and good facilities for cooking at home, if needed. There was plenty of hot water and options for light. It was very nice with a balcony. Only one set of towels that gets very wet very quickly. A spare towel would have been nice. One of the umbrellas provided was broken. It was very cold, and although there is AC, I would recommend providing blankets in Fall/Winter

• Sandra (9/5): Small and quiet apartment for solo travelers - Having an apartment for a week was really nice. It was the perfect size for me as a solo traveler. It was just on the border to the more lively parts of town, but no noise to disturb in the night. I took advantage of the coin washing machines on the first floor to get my laundry done, very convenient. It was a bit of a walk from the station. I knew this when I booked the room, so can't really complain about that. The water pressure in the shower was a bit lacking. Getting conditioner out of long hair without good water pressure is hard, but it worked out. All in all, I liked this place and would book again.
