Marta (10/5): Struttura ideale per passare una vacanza a Firenze - Struttura eccezionale: ubicata nel cuore della città, facile da raggiungere dalla stazione e vicino alle maggiori attrazioni turistiche. Per me era la quarta volta che venivo a Firenze e solitamente avrò alloggiato in hotel/appartamenti abbastanza mediocri. Questa volta, al contrario, l’appartamento è andato oltre le mie aspettative: camera estremamente pulita (sono rimasta anche colpita dai prodotti del bagno che ho rivisto in qualche profumeria in centro città), silenziosa la notte, elegante nell’arredamento e dotata di ogni comfort (in primis l’aria condizionata). Suzanna è stata estremamente disponibile e gentile con noi dandoci la possibilità di lasciare le nostre valige in reception anche se non era ancora l’orario per il check in. Insomma per me questa è la struttura ideale per passare più giorni a Firenze. Onestamente non ho riscontrato difficoltà…era tutto perfetto.

Susanne Hasle (10/5): Vi havde et superdejligt ophold med lidt blandet vejr, som på ingen måde overskyggede den gode oplevelse. - Vi boede 3 voksne i en lejlighed med 2 værelser, 2 badeværelser og køkken. ( “Margaritha” på Borgo de Greci nr. 13 på 2. sal.) Der var en fin lille elevator til 1 person og en kuffert) Lejligheden fremstod meget velholdt, dejlig rummelig, med højt til loftet og god atmosfære. Vær obs på, der er et enkelt trin mellem rummene. Dejlig store dobbeltsenge i begge værelser. Nye pæne og rene badeværelser, hvoraf det ene lå i forbindelse med et af værelserne. Det ene værelse vendte ud mod en smal hyggelig “gågade” Her kunne godt forekomme en smule støj om natten / morgenen. “Indhold” i lejligheden var præcis som beskrevet, dog manglede en mikrobølgeovn, som Suzanne i receptionen garanteret kunne have skaffet, hvis vi havde haft brug for en. (Stor ros til Suzanne, som var meget venlig, imødekommende og hjælpsom) Der var altid varmt vand til et bad til alle. Lejligheden lå meget centralt i forhold til det, vi gerne ville ud at opleve samt til Supermarked og spisesteder. Intet.

Denise (7/5): See above. - Our 2 BR apt was very clean, EXCEPT that there were no paper products in the kitchen, one kitchen towel and only a pre-used sponge for cleaning up (quite unsanitary). Highly recommend that you provide a new sponge and roll of paper towels for each reservation. Otherwise, the apt was nice and clean. I was disappointed that the kitchen was not properly equipped. Of all the airB&Bs I've stayed in, this was this least equipped kitchen. I was also unclear on why the 2nd BR was not made up. Suzanne mentioned that you always assume that reservations for 2 people are a couple and would share a bedroom. If someone books and pays for a 2 BR apt, both bedrooms should be made available for use. I was pleased that there were laundry pods in the laundry room/closet so that I could do laundry. See above.
Irena (9/5): - Our stay at Borgo de Greci Apartments was excellent and made our time in Florence even more enjoyable. The location is perfect—right in the city center, yet tucked away in a quiet area without the typical tourist noise. All the main sights are within a short walking distance, usually just 2 to 10 minutes. The famous Uffizi Gallery is only about a 3-minute walk away, and the riverside can be reached in around 5 minutes. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés, and small local shops literally just around the corner. The apartment itself was clean and well-maintained. The kitchenette is practical and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, although it doesn’t include an oven or dishwasher. However, there is a microwave and a stove, which are perfectly sufficient for basic cooking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after long days of exploring the city. Another big plus was the receptionist, who was very kind, friendly, and always willing to help. Overall, Borgo de Greci Apartments is a great choice for anyone looking for a central yet peaceful place to stay in Florence, with everything you need close at hand.

Steve (7/5): Stunning Florence sites. Drunken slobs in the streets at night. - Location was superb-easy access to Duomo, Uffizi, Academia, the Piazzas and Bobolink gardens. The stay was comfortable and Suzanne was more than accommodating. What I didn’t like? The sub-human pub crawlers who creep down the streets at 3AM destroying 5 nights sleep. Aside from that no worries.

GabiV (3/5): The photos show different than the text says - We left the apartment booked in BorgoDeGreci Apartments after 1 night out of 4 payed in advance. Important aspects were not included in that apartment's description on Booking: the apartment "Fiamma" is structured on 3 (three!) levels. The staircase leading from the kitchen/living to the sleeping area —which is not a real room as written in the description but a high platform on pillars sustaining the bed —is very narrow; there is no place to move around the bed. To get from the sleeping area to the bathroom, you have to go down 14 narrow, steep steps, which is very difficult at night... Not suitable for persons of a certain age. The TV is above the sofa in the kitchen, so you can only watch while sitting on a chair. There are no hangers for rain jackets in the apartment. When we arrived, we didn't even find a bottle of water in the kitchen...

Winnie (5/5): Nach katastrophalen Startschwierigkeiten bei der Schlüsselübergabe, doch noch ein feiner Aufenthalt - Die Lage. Es war sehr zentral und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Gastgeberin war sehr bemüht- nachdem wir sie endlich erreicht hatten. Sauberkeit und Ausstattung super. Etwas kühl, aber die Heizung funktioniert. Eine Notfall Nummer bei der man tatsächlich Hilfe bekommt. War ziemlich unangenehm um 23uhr vor verschlossener Tür zu stehen mit einem weinenden Baby. Bei der angegebenen Notfall Nummer meldet sich zwar jemand, kann aber NICHT weiterhelfen, weil sie sich NICHT zuständig fühlen.

Pam (1/5): Misrepresentation of facilities and no compensation. - Location is ideal for the historical centre. We stayed for 10 days. There was no wifi for the first 3 days. The description of the kitchen included an oven or microwave. There was neither. We informed the manager, and were promised a microwave each day, but it never appeared. Also, as I was recovering from a broken leg I specifically asked before booking if there was an elevator (yes, and it worked), and no stairs in the apartment. However, the apartment has an odd set up with 3 stairs up and 3 stairs down between the living room and the bedroom/ washroom. We asked to be moved for at least some of our days and were told it was impossible. The manager is very pleasant but not available on Sundays and Mondays. There has been no compensation for the missing microwave or misrepresentation of the stairs. We may return to Florence, but will never book with this company again. EVER

lawrence (8/5): a great option for seeing Florence. character, comfort, and convenience - the location was fabulous, the facilities fine -- decently equipped kitchen, good bed etc. host very sympa still fairly pricey, even though very much low season - January. A suggestion - since the apt is owned by the owner of a wine business (bottles for sale in office), it would be smart to welcome guests (we were there for 6 nights) with a bottle. It is a gesture that really works in my experience and would be especially effective marketing (that was great, love to take a bottle of two back home with me)

Lilyana (8/5): Добро местоположение, голям апартамент, но много студен през зимата - Апартаментът е голям, разполага с две огромни спални и 3 бани. Разтегаемият диван е удобен. Чист, разположен на супер място зад площад Синьориа. Лесен достъп до апартамента с код на предната врата и ключ в кутия. Когато пристигнахме температурата в апартамента беше 16 градуса. Парното не беше пуснато и се наложи да пишем на собственика да го включи дистанционно. Предвид високите стаи за 3 дни така и не се стопли и температурата не достигна повече от 18 градуса. През февруари, когато искаш да с прибереш отвън и да се стоплиш това беше проблем. Освен това в Booking беше обявено, че има кафе машина, а такава нямаше. Писахме на собственика, но отговор по въпроса не получихме. Наложи се всяка сутрин да търсим рано отворени заведения наоколо. Комуникацията със собственика вървеше добре до една седмица преди да пристогнем. Тогава се наложи да търся всякакви начини да намеря връзка с него, включително и различни телефони, whats app, viber. От други гости ми беше казано,че била на почивка и затова не отговаря, което беше много непрофесионално.

David (9/5): Fabulous stay in fantastic accommodation. - The apartment we had was extremely well furnished, spacious, and well equipped with everything you would have in your own home. Its position in Florence couldn't have been better. It was in the Centro Storico just behind the Palazzo Vecchio. We found an excellent garage within a 2 minute walk of the apartment where we could leave our car for the whole of the duration of our stay. They even arranged the necessary 'Permissions' for entering and exiting the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone). Suzanne at Borgo de Greci Apartments is lovely and very helpful if you require any assistance. We booked a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment and I was a little perturbed to find that we had actually booked 2 apartments with a door between them just inside the main entrance of them. We were travelling as 2 couples so we had to make a choice of who had the apartment with 1 bedroom, a sitting room, kitchen and bathroom and who had the other which was a very large, beautiful bed-sitting room, with a separate kitchen and bathroom. We'd been given the option to change this to a more conventional 2-bedroomed apartment before we arrived but decided to stick with this choice on recommendation that it was well recommended. In the end it worked very well, and we would certainly use Borgo de Greci Apartments again.

Am primit instructiuni foarte clare cu privire la locatia exacta a apartamentuli si la modul de acces. Patul a fost foarte confortabil, iar curatenia exemplara. Vi var kede af , at internettet WIFI gik ned efter 1½ døgn og da det var weekend, kom det ikke op igen, selvom der blev gjort en indsats for det.

I didn’t like the loft bedroom and the bathroom being ANOTHER half flight of stairs from the main level. So going to the bathroom in the middle of the night involved going down 1 1/2 flights of stairs and of course back up. Not easy for this 80y/o female. The logistics was not clear in the online otherwise I would not have booked this unit.

sharon (10/5): Lovely, centrally-located accommodation. Highly recommend. - The location was perfect - a few minutes from the Duomo, Uffizi. A 15 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. The apartment has a built-in kitchen stocked with utensils, plates, fridge, microwave, hot water pot - more than we used. Tale your own tea, coffee, condiments. Rooms are large w/ sitting room/dining room/ kitchen combined. Shower was nice. Truly everything we needed. The only thing.... we hoped to be able to leave our luggage for a few hours before our train left but couldn't connect w/owner in time to make arrangements so we had to drag baggage for a few hours. We were told too late that we could leave packed baggage in the apartment. Suggest you make arrangements ahead of time. There is not a front desk or place to leave luggage otherwise. All was good!

Am stat 3 nopți și în fiecare zi s-a intrerupt curentul pentru mai multe ore.Nu am putut să ne spălăm,să pregătim micul dejun,să încărcăm telefoanele mobile,nu am avut căldură.Apartamentul avea centrală și când se oprea curentul nu mai mergea nimic.De asemeni apartamentul în care am stat avea o scară de trecere între living și dormitor plus baie.Practic urcai 3 trepte și coborai 3 trepte,destul de înalte,lucru ce a fost foarte neplăcut și incomod.Pacat de apartament care arată bine și locația excelentă.

The apartment was exceptionally clean for an old building, the beds were huge and very comfortable and having a kitchen and lounge/dining area was great. There was even a washing machine if you were staying for a longer time. Also in a great location in the heart of things. We will definitely recommend it to friends x
Kimberly (10/5): We had a great time in Florence and we wanted to stay at a convenient location. - Convenient location as it’s walking distance to all the sights. Big bedrooms and comfortable beds when you’re tired from walking at the end of the night. Very accommodating to our 9 month old baby as there was a crib and high chair available as we requested. You could hear everything from outside in the bedroom that is located near the Main Street. There are a few bars in the area and late at night when people are going home it’s very loud.

Great location - close to most main attractions and good cafes. Suzanne was very helpful with recommendations and helped fixed our clogged up shower very quickly. It would be helpful to have instructions on how to use the induction cooker, especially when not all pots/pans provided where induction compatible. Took us awhile to figure it out, so ended up having a much later dinner. Towel heaters were not working as well.

William (8/5): I will stay there again! - The size, location and cleanliness. There was a third bathroom with shower. Modern kitchen with upgraded appliances. The host Suzanne was very helpful ! The master bedroom is very quiet and generous size Heated Clothes racks were turned off so difficult to dry clothes/towels, etc. The host does not work on Sunday/Monday and there is no backup if you need assistance. Microwave is built-in just above the floor. Difficult to use with getting on knees and bending down to there to read obscure controls. Not enough bath / hand towels and TP supplied upon arrival (Sunday) and no assistance available until Tuesday morning as mention above. Bedroom on street side can be noisy late into the evening (Diana room).

The only mild annoyance was the stair threshold to move from the living area to the bedroom & bath. It was just one of those quirks that happen in a renovated historic property though.
