• Caroline (5/5): Disappointing - Location, beautiful place Was not clear to me that this flat was actually in the basement. There is no oven and the dishwasher was not working. You can literally hear everything (noise from outside and the flat above). After a few days, new guests arrived in the flat above mine, and they were making a lot of noice and I was not able to sleep at all all night for several days. I tried to call and texted the host to talk about this and the issue with the dishwasher but never got an answer
• Jacqueline (2/5): terrible - The place was clean at least and the location was good. It is not clear from the advertisement that this is a basement apartment. I feel like this should be a bit more transparent when you book. There were several days in which we did not have hot water, and had to take cold showers. We were compensated for this at least. We did not receive one of the cleanings that we were entitled to even after asking for it - we were also compensated for this. Their Pull out couch is terribly uncomfortable. you are basically lying on a metal bar that goes across. It was advertised as having a functional kitchen but there were no pots or pans. The owner did bring some over when we asked but they still did not work on the hot plate bc they had to be a certain size to make the hot plate's sensors activate. We were never able to cook at all. The outside of the apartment was very dirty with rubbish all around. There is also no oven as advertised. The walls are so thin you could hear the upstairs neighbors just talking normally, much less when they walk across the floor as well as every person walking by outside.

• Cornelia (3/5): Poor - I would like to mention that a member of staff reacted professionally when I pointed out some safety issues to her. There was first no lock on the main gate. She took care of this. Furthermore, there were no keys provided to me for all the door locks. She reacted and gave them to me when I pointed these issues out to her. Unfortunately, there is no sound insulation in the apartment. You can hear your neighbours from above as if they were in your apartment. It is furthermore a basement apartment. The owner should take these things into consideration when charging so much money. You do also hear the tube. The line must be directly under the apartment. I will not choose this apartment a second time. It was not good value for the money spent.
