It's incredibly family-friendly, Shannon was amazing and even brought out toys for the kids, which they loved. Alles extrem sauber und gepflegt. Jeden Tag wurde alles gereinigt und aufgeräumt. Sehr kinderfreundlich und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Die Frühstückskörbe sind fantastisch und sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Super Lage, um Ausflüge zu machen und die Gegend zu erkunden! Wir haben uns sehr sicher und wohl gefühlt. Falls es sehr heiß ist, würde eine Klimaanlage fehlen. Es gibt allerdings mobile Ventilatoren/Lüftungsgeräte.
• Olivier (9/5): Very beautiful, quiet stay with wonderful owners and good personnel - The ample room is tastefully decorated, modern with an African touch. Situated in a green and quiet valley not too far from the city centre of Knysna. Small pool with amenities to relax peacefully, very nice. Fantastic breakfasts on demand and lots of proposals and incentives for things to do around Knysna which was helpful. Our bedroom was a bit far from the washroom but this is a minor issue. Some of the rooms had a terrace, ours not.

I loved that there is a gas stove I can use. It was so peaceful all around the property. The breakfast was very nice. Shannon gave me all the information to make my stay nice and easy to navigate the surroundings. Nothing.

• Christian (10/5): - Die Anlage ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und alles ist in einem tollen Zustand. Die Häuser sind perfekt mit allem ausgestattet und sehr durchdacht gestaltet. Die beiden Besitzer John und Shannon tun wirklich alles dafür um einem den perfekten Aufenthalt zu bereiten (kostenloses Strandequipment, Kinderpielzeug in der Unterkunft etc.). Das hat uns wirklich sehr gefallen. Tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gibt es natürlich auch noch dazu. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft die ich jedem empfehlen kann.

Everything was exceptionally clean, with an incredible attention to detail that did not go unnoticed. What made our visit even more special was the thoughtful gesture of providing extra toys for our one-year-old son. Little touches like that made us feel truly welcome and were greatly appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in Knysna. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly return!

• Christina (10/5): Grandiose Unterkunft - top sauber und komfortabel! - Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit im Tonquani Private Estate und können es absolut weiter empfehlen. Die Unterkunft ist 1000% sauber, alles ist mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und von der Inhaberin Shannon gibt es viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Das flexibel buchbare Frühstück ist ebenfalls mit so viel Liebe gemacht und absolut fantastisch. Die Lage ist top, da man ruhig etwas außerhalb des Ortes wohnt und dennoch in 5min an der Waterfront ist.

• Joanna (10/5): Wunderschöner Stop auf unserer Reise - Die Inhaber und ihr Team haben eine schöne Oase geschaffen: Ruhe und Erholung pur sind hier möglich! Alle geben sich größte Mühe, einen tollen Urlaub zu erleben und so sind Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft wirklich groß geschrieben! Wir reisten mit kleinem Baby und es gab auf unserer Reise keine Unterkunft, die so viel dafür geboten hat: bequemes Babybett, Spielzeug und sogar Badewanne - das war nicht selbstverständlich. Für die Erwachsenen gibt es obendrauf noch viele Ausflugstipps, es braucht also keine Vorbereitung :) Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben… Da gibt es nichts :)

Het was brandschoon en had dagelijks onderhoud. De bedden lagen uitstekend. Wij hadden zelf-catering maar een eventueel ontbijt zou mogelijk geweest zijn. De ligging van Tonquani is net buiten Knysna (de wijk Welbedacht) in een zeer fraaie omgeving. Het zwembad heeft goede ligbedden. Shannon was een bijzonder hartelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. Het is een absolute aanrader en een terugkeer zeker waard geen negatieve bevindingen

• Antonia (10/5): A true 5***** star experience! - Shannon is not only a great host, but also an amazing cook and tour guide. Every morning we received an homemade breakfast basket with a wide range of different choices from eggs (e.g omelettes) till sweet savory like fresh fruit salad, pancakes and muffins. All homemade and very delicious! A daily highlight: the fresh squeezed juices. Shannon is furthermore providing custommade recommendations for day trips and lovely dinner places. The appartement and estate were in a perfect condition. Daily room service and small details like fresh flower Bouquets in the room were enriching our stay. As well as the peacocks and multiple birds being in the garden - just lovely to sit on the terrace and watch them while having a tea. Not to forget Jessy, their super friendly dog, which is always up for a pet. For kids and swimmers there is an inviting pool area with comfy beach beds and a sitting area as well. Thanks for a lovely stay! We‘ll definitely be back once we are in town again! :-)

Höchstwertigste Ausführung. Hier wurde an nichts gespart ! Tolles Bett, vollwertige hochwertige Küche, toller Wohnbereich. Die Wohneinheit verfügt ist sehr hell. Tolles Bad mit großer, bodenebener Dusche. Zum Garten gibt es ein großes, vollständig zu öffnendes Fenster-/Türelement ( bodenebener Zugang zum Garten ).. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt . Die Wohnanlage steht in einen traumhaften Garten mit sehr schönem Pool, schöner Baumbestand ( und mehreren Pfauen). Shannon hat hier ein Paradies in Bestlage geschaffen. 100 Prozent Weiterempfehlung !! Zusätzlich wurde ein sehr guter Laundryservice angeboten. Sehr sichere Gegend. Shannon hat uns mit vielen guten Ausflugstipps versorgt. Auf Wunsch bietet Shannon einen Frühstücksservice an.

Allerliefste eigenaresse die heel erg haar best doet om er voor jou een onvergetelijk verblijf van te maken en waar je graag naar teruggaat. The accommodation was very spacious with two very comfy king size beds. Very clean. There even were some toys available for our 1y old. We will come back.

Nothing is too much to ask, you can also get a very good massage if you want in your own apartment. Everything perfect with nice swimming pool. And we enjoyed 14 days.

Great tips, perfect breakfast service in the morning, and even new flowers every day! The rooms contains everything you ever need if you want to cook yourself, are spacious and the beds are comfy. The pool, trampoline and pets made the stay for our kids very enjoyable!
• Taahirah (10/5): A Wonderful Stay at Tonquani - Our stay at Tonquani exceeded all expectations. The cottages are beautifully appointed and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering getaway. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by trees and immersed in nature, offering a true escape from the busyness of everyday life. The hosts, who live on the property, go above and beyond to ensure you have the perfect stay. Their warmth and attentiveness, along with the welcoming presence of their two- and four-legged family members, truly made us feel at home. Tonquani is also incredibly child-friendly, with plenty of open spaces for little ones to run and play, a big trampoline, and an enclosed swimming pool for peace of mind. The hosts were even kind enough to offer a box of toys for our three-year-old to enjoy during our stay, which was such a thoughtful touch. This is the perfect place for a peaceful, family-friendly break in Knysna, and my family and I will definitely be back. • Nicholas (10/5): Pleasantly surprised in every aspect of our stay, surpassed our high expectations and can highly recommend. - From the wonderful warm welcome at the parking area when I arrived in helping with the bags to the room to the fact that there was fresh ground coffee and a French press in the room to house spotless modern and charming the property was. Our hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and the recommendations for what to do in and around the area from beaches to dining and shopping were absolutely fantastic and made a wonderful. As there was a work component to the trip the recommendations for a huge Timesaver visit stores that we actually needed to. I can highly recommend. As an addition their pets both cats and dog was super friendly and it was wonderful being greeted by these lovely animals coming up for a quick cuddle to say hello and then will leave you alone. The pool was fantastic the lounging area for the pool was wonderful as well and on our second night there we chose to stay in at the property was so relaxing _

• Mathias (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful Apartment with plenty of space and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything is new and well maintained. Breakfast delivery was on time with fruits, eggs, bread, muesli, etc. Shannon was also giving us great tips what to see and do in the area every day. Everybody was very helpful. The only little drawback: if you want to go out for dinner you have to drive or take an Uber. But this was fully acceptable for us.
