The breakfast is generous and varied. There are no vienoiseries (french pastries), but honestly, with all the available choices, they are not missed at all. The free hammam and sauna are the cherry on top. Special thanks to: - Ufuk and Orhan from the reception, as well as the gentleman from Diyarbakır (sorry, I forgot his name) - Dilek from housekeeping for her kindness - The young lady on the terrace who was always smiling (she has curly light brown hair, I forgot her name too) - And finally, a huge THANK YOU to Arzu from guest relations, who helped me a lot to find a lost item in the hotel and for her availability, and all time smiling face. Arzu, you are the best ❤️ The breakfast staff could be more welcoming and friendly. They barely look at guests when we say hello, and they do not say good morning or hello either. It is very important to be welcomed by smiling staff in the morning, and it also greatly impacts the image of the hotel. I would have given a 10/10 if it weren’t for this point. Hope next time this problem would be solved, because I would love to comeback to Orka roya I did ask for an upstairs room but we didn't get it, so we had to listen to all the outside noise.

• Marcelo (10/5): Amazing Weekend Stay in a Perfect Location - We had a wonderful time at Orka Royal. The location is perfect and central to everything, being very close to all kinds of transportation. It is also just a short walk to the beautiful Gülhane Park. A huge highlight of the hotel itself was the really nice rooftop. Most of all, a big thanks to the employees for going above and beyond to make our special date so amazing. We will definitely be back! Nothing at all!

• Birgit (8/5): Mitten im Leben - Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. In ca. 6 Minuten an der Blauen Moschee. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt. Eine kleine Liegefläche mit Pool auf dem Dach. Ein schöner Spa Bereich. Keine Beanstandung.

Nu fac foarte multe pretenții în general, dar mucegaiul negru din baie și de pe peretele de lângă geam nu a fost deloc ok. Plus pereții care sunt extraordinari de subțiri. Aveam TV-ul la volum la nivel 6 (super încet) și ne-au bătut vecinii la ușă să dăm volumul mai încet.... Micul dejun nu e deloc wow. Legume veștede uneori si cafeaua foarte proastă.

• طارق بن علي (1/5): اسواء مكان إقامة لي في تركيا - موقع الفندق جيد في السلطان أحمد غير نظيف ، التكييف لا يعمل نهائياً. الشراشف فيها بقع دم وطلبنا التغيير ولكن لم يتم النظافة مع دخول العمال دون اذن للغرفة، غطاء كرسي الحمام مكسور وتسبب بقرص الفخذ ، الغرف رطبة و فيها رائحة مجاري. الحجز شامل الإفطار مجاناً مع توفير موقف للسيارة مجاناً ، تم توفير الفطور و الأطباق كانت مكسورة الأطراف، ولم يوفروا موقف للسيارة وتم دفع مبلغ 30 يورو لليوم الواحد تعجيل الخروج قبل الظهر

Le sauna est propre et chaud 4 personnes du personnel son adorable la responsable réactif même sur Booking , mais malheureusement les femmes de ménage il y a un vrai souci et le monsieur de l’accueil du spa. Le spa pas propre,piscine froide, la piscine extérieur été vide. Nous avions eu une chambre avec problème de canalisation l’odeur dans toute la chambre , nous avons été changé de chambre plus petite mais propre d’apparence . Mais la literie un vrai problème tacher donc nous l’avons signalé , le ménage a été « fait » nous avons eu une couette encore plus petite mais le draps pas changer , taie d’oreiller manquante. Le petit déjeuner si vous aimer les reste de la veille en plat chaud vous serez servie. Et si vous aimer les salade à composer vous serez servie et endroit très bruyant

• Lenka (7/5): v turecku jsem v mnoha hotelech nebyla, tak nevim … - hotel je minutku od vlaku, metra i tramvaje a 5 minut od lodni dopravy. Uklid probihal denne. Bufetova snidane byla dobra. Turecka lazen ma vyhrivane plochy na ležení a je to prostorna mistnost, vnitrni bazen ma prijemnou teplotu, finska sauna dobra. Hotel ma velkou vyhlidkovou terasu 360, vidite i na vodu, skoda ze se setmenim ji zamknou. Klimatizace fungovala dobre. Jednou byla vecere bufetova, pak uz jen servirovali neco v restauraci (priste bych volila jen snidani, protoze v okoli je spousta moznosti jak se najist presne podle vlastni chute) Slaba zvukova izolace, slysite vse od sousedu. Zadne odvetrani v koupelne, zadne, musite vetrat pres pokoj!? S tim souvisi ze jsem stale citila z koupelny odpady. Musela jsem vysvetlovat ze uz jsem zaplatila, nebo ze mam polopenzi, nevedeli to. Ale to asi souvisi s mistni povahou :) Hotel ma zrekonstruovanou recepci, ale pokoje ne. V hotelovem wellness nehledejte relax, vetsinou je obsazene jecicimi behajicimi detmi. Taky jsem si nevsimla ze by se sprchovali ze sauny, skakali rovnou do bazenu, neni tam zadny “dozor”. Pri odjezdu mi recepcni napsal na listek sve cislo, ze kdyz dam hotelu 10 bodu v hodnoceni a odeslu mu to jako dukaz, daji mi priste krasny pokoj.

A szobában naponta gondosan takarítottak. Tisza és biztonságos környezet. Este is nyugodtan lehet sétálni az utcán. A nedves gőz nem működött.A vacsorához este 8 utáin pár perccel érkeztünk, szóltak hogy 8 előtt érjünk oda, pedig elvileg 9-ig lehet vacsorázni.

Rosszabb kategoriájú szobát kaptunk, mint amit fizettünk.A belső udvarra néző ablakból a légkondicionálók hatalmas kültéri egységeit láthattuk,hallhattuk. A fürdőszoba ajtó, elrohadva,leszakadva ,nem lehetett rendesen becsukni.A szomszéd szobától ajtó választott el,ahol ráadásul nagyon hangos fiatalok laktak,minden nap éjfél után hazatérve.A spa részlegben a víz kifejezetten hideg volt és nagyon klóros ( vagy valami hasonló szagú fertőtlenítő) . Az élménymedencében nem működtek a fúvókak,ahhoz,hogy ússzunk, kicsi volt.

From the moment we arrived, he made us feel completely at home warm, welcoming and always available whenever we needed anything. The place was spotless, exactly as shown in the photos, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. We would like to empasize that Ufuk is very hospitable and gives attention to every detail. He clearly takes great pride in making sure the hotel guests have the best possible experience and it shows in every little thing. If you're visiting Istanbul, don't hesitate to book in this hotel. You won't regret it. We will absolutely be coming back!

• Najib (7/5): - Locatie vsn het hotel. Dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden. Kamers worden schoo gemaakt en ontbijt is fivers. Verlichting in de kamer was niet goed. En de badkamer is zeer klein. Hierover ben ik wel teleurgesteld.

• Katja (10/5): Tolles Hotel Preisleistung perfekt, ich hoffe ich komme mal wieder. - Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr empfehlenswert, die Lage ist Top, man erreicht viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten. Die Zimmer sind sauber und man hat alles was man braucht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vor allem Herr Ufuk hat uns mehrfach sehr gut beraten. Das Frühstück ist super für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse ist einfach gigantisch, leider war sie bei unserem Aufenthalt Abends schon ab 19.00 Uhr geschlossen. Der Spa Bereich ist auch sehr schön, aber dafür hat uns die Zeit nicht mehr gereicht um ihn zu testen.

Hotel guests mainly walking around breakfast buffed trying to understand what to eat. And 80% the same was presented in dinner. Nevertheless- if you don’t have continental breakfast preferences- something you will find.

De locatie w - Het is op een heel goed locatie Heel vriendelijke personeel Gemakkelijk te vinden Heel dichtbij bij de openbare vervoer Een klein aandachtspunt was dat de verlichting in de kamer wat beperkt was. Daarnaast ontbraken er enkele praktische voorzieningen, zoals een schoenlepel.

Ufuk aan de balie was zeer behulpzaam en be - Het was een zeer aangenaam hotel en de terras is zeker een aanrader, je ziet alle bezienswaardigheden vanuit 1 plek en een must om er te genieten van een kopje koffie. Ook de zwembad en sauna moet je gedaan hebben. Voor de twijfelaars, je krijgt er geen spijt van, zeer dichtbij openbaar vervoer. Geen negatieve ervaring gehad. Ben zeer tevreden.

• Irene (8/5): È stato un buon soggiorno - Io ho prenotato una camera matrimoniale standard, piccola ma abitabile e molto carina. La pulizia era eseguita tutte le mattine con cambio di asciugamani; lenzuola pulite. La pulizia era buona ma non perfetta. La colazione è prevalentemente salata, erano comunque presenti cereali, latte, yogurt, granola, marmellate, cioccolato, pane, frutta essiccata e dolci tipici turchi. La posizione è ottima, vicino alla M2 e al tram T11. Nonostante è nella zona di soulthanament, la via è molto tranquilla e silenziosa (non si sentivano i richiami della preghiera) Non sono troppo accoglienti, ma è una cosa che abbiamo riscontrato in generale in Turchia. Questa nota negativa non è riferita all’hotel ma ATTENZIONE alle persone che girano in torno alle macchine per ricaricare la tessera IstanbulCard perché sembrano gentili, offrendo il loro aiuto per ricaricare la tessera (sulle macchinette ci sono tutte le lingue) ma alla fine ti rubano i soldi caricando le loro tessere.

Was promised a room with a balcony but was not given. Chases up reception staff for 2 days of my 5 night stay with no luck so gave up asking.

• Joshim (1/5): - While there were some positive aspects—namely the hotel’s excellent location and the professionalism of certain staff members, including Guest Relations Name Lopoinds, Reception Staff Ufuk and Samet Arzu and another chap I didn't get ghe name of, had curly dark long hair —these do not outweigh the overall experience. I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay at Orka Hotel and to request a partial refund due to multiple service failures, unmet expectations, and health and safety concerns. This booking was made with clear expectations based on your advertised standard, facilities, and room configuration. Unfortunately, the experience fell significantly short in several key areas: Firstly, I had specifically booked two connected rooms due to travelling with children. On arrival, the rooms were not connected, causing ongoing disruption and inconvenience throughout our stay, with children needing to repeatedly access our room via the corridor. Cleanliness standards were also unacceptable. The bed sheets in our room had visible hair on them upon arrival. This should have been immediately rectified by housekeeping; instead, we were left to change the bedding ourselves, which is not acceptable for a hotel of this rating. There were also serious health and safety concerns. During the first use of the pool, my daughter cut her foot on the tiles. When assistance was requested, the first aid box lacked basic supplies, and the spa attendant showed little concern or urgency. This reflects a clear failure in duty of care and basic safety provision. The facilities—one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel—were not delivered as advertised. The terrace pool was closed throughout our stay, and the main pool was uncomfortably cold. In addition, our children were repeatedly told to be quiet despite there being no evident disturbance or other guests present. This created an unwelcoming environment and prevented us from reasonably using the facilities we had paid for. The Turkish bath was also not accessible as expected. It was cold and frequently unavailable, as we were repeatedly asked to leave to accommodate treatments despite the presence of designated treatment rooms. This further limited access to facilities included in the stay.

Für ein 4 Stern Hotel sind die Zimmern durchschnittlich… :( Bett Matratze sehr gute Qualität, kann man gut schlafen . Schlechtes Englisch kommunizieren! Service Personal kann kaum sich auf Englisch unterhalten:( Rezeption Dame ziemlich unfreundlich…Gastfreundlich fehlt ! In Badezimmer fehlt Hautcreme !
