- Floortje (8/5): Super locatie in Osaka met alles wat je wilt zien op loopafstand en openbaar vervoer - De locatie was geweldig, midden in Osaka waarbij alle leuke buurten op loopafstand waren. De Family Mart onder de deur, een supermarkt op 5 minuten lopen en vele restaurant in de omgeving maakte het makkelijk om jezelf overal van te voorzien. Super locatie voor Osaka. Het bed was erg hard, de matrassen die op de grond waren zelfs zachter dan het bed zelf. Een bank in de kamer die te veel ruimte in nam waardoor je de tafelstoelen niet naar achteren kon schuiven. De kamer zelf was ook niet zo schoon, eetverpakkingen tussen de bank en een paar kleine vlekjes op de laken. Borden in de kast waren nat en in de pan waren aangekoekte resten. We hadden meteen aangegeven over het afval, pan en verpakkingen. De host heeft het meteen opgelost door lakens te vervangen en een nieuw pan te brengen. Dat was heel fijn, en fijn de de host er meteen bij is!

- Jessica Lai 1104 (7/5): - The room was spacious and comfortable. The water pressure was good, and the bathroom heater was very useful for drying clothes. Toiletries were provided, which made the stay more convenient. There is also a FamilyMart just downstairs, which was extremely convenient for daily needs. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and the electricity cut off a few times during our stay. However, when we contacted the staff, they responded very quickly. There is no washing machine provided. If you want to washing clothes have to find another unit.

- Hyojin (10/5): - 숙소가 넓고, 전반적으로 필요한 것들은 전부 구비되어 있습니다. 역이 바로 옆인 것은 아니지만, 걸어가기에 가깝고, 간사이 공항에서 체크인하기 위해서 난바역에서 내릴 경우 걸어갈만한 거리에 있어요. 위치도 좋아요. 편의점이 바로 아래 있어 잠깐씩 들리는것도 가능해요. 방음이 조금 안되는것같습니다.

- Beverly (7/5): If you remove the couch, I would stay again. - The location & size of the room was good. The couch is push up against the bed & the table is push up against the couch. Why have a couch if no one can sit on it? Better to remove the couch from the room to better enjoy the space.

It is exactly beside the Kuromon market and family mart is just around the corner which makes it very convenient for us. The home stay comes with microwave and basic kitchen utensils as well as washing machine so it was really convenient for us since we travel as a family. There is a lift as well so there was no concern about carrying luggage to upper floor. Due to the location, sometimes midnight (around 1am) there are people talking and laughing which can be quite disturbing for light sleeper such as me. The tatami bed is also quite thin in my opinion (I guess the tatami bed is generally thin in Japan) so I have some hard time sleep with it.

The unit is well equipped with modern appliances. There were some water stains from an AC leak, and damage on walls that appeared to be from the bed frame being moved around. The TV remote did not work at all. It would have been appreciated if there were some paper towels in the kitchen, and some coffee and/or tea, but fortunately there is a Lawsons next door.

- Francine (8/5): Excellent home stay in a great location! - The owner/manager was excellent to communicate with and provided a great service; we were allowed to store our luggage prior to checking in and any questions I had were helped immediately. We found the place easy by following direction we were emailed prior to arrival. If you are arriving by train, the Namba Station is next level busy, and then dragging luggage (and kids) through two busy market places stressed us out a wee bit! Avoid the markets, walk a tiny bit further and go around them! If you can get to Nippombashi Station - it’s closer and via back streets. The location is exceptional! Literally 50m from the Kurumon Market - which is next level for fresh produce and Japanese food 🍣🍱 A Family Mart is literally under the accommodation and a 7Eleven about 200m away. We travelled with two small children (6 and 8 years), and they slept on the Japanese floor bedding - they loved it, was a very unique experience for them. Having a washing machine was perfect, we found if we hung clothing in the closet with the doors open, it dried by morning. I would recommend this home stay to anyone travelling to Osaka who wants a more authentic Japanese stay. The bed for the adults was a little uncomfortable, it was wedged between a wall and a couch (literally wedged between the two), so getting in and out was via the end of the bed. We were on the second floor, and there for New Years so it was a little noisy but in general it was ok. We have found most places quite noisy, us Aussies are not used to living so close to others.

It is near to subway station and restaurants plus shopping areas. Just that it is about 10min walking to main Namba station. But with the price and location and cleanliness, I shouldn’t complain much. Will stay again if I visit Osaka Abit far from main Namba station.

- Jane (10/5): Good Location, Convenient Amenities - We stayed in this location because we were planning on seeing a kabuki at the Shochiku-za theatre and wanted to stay close so we did not need to worry about catching last trains after going out after the show. I was worried it might be a bit loud given the proximity to high traffic Osaka nightlife areas, but found the apartment to be quite peaceful. The building itself is small with only a couple of rooms on each floor. The convenience store was right next door and there was lots of shopping and restaurants easily accessible. I particularly loved that there was a public bathhouse right by the apartment! Close access to the train station as well. Great home base for a couple of nights. Nothing comes to mind.
