El televisor nunca funcionó pero no lo necesitamos, el lavamanos tenía una fuga, pero pasable.!

Hotel de 5 chambres, donc accueil tres humain, cela nous convenais parfaitement. Rien, Hormis un rafraichissement peinture / nettoyage de fond, serait necessaire

Not a hotel related issue, but we lost power in half of the island for a few hours at night, and then the next day, while trying to charge up our devices. The hotel was perfect otherwise, tho.

La chambre est immense avec tout l’équipement et le confort. Très belles piscine. Bien placé. Une petite fuite qui mériterait d’être réparée mais qui n’a pas gâché la qualité de notre séjour.

• Kaan (10/5): A magical location that alllows the creation a lifetime of memories - The location was sublime , about a 10 min minute walk the Fira town centre , the location is very peaceful and has some of the most stunning sunsets with a clear view of the volcanic island in the middle . The staff were amazing , friendly and very polite , extremely helpful . Breakfast was plentiful and more than enough to get the day started . There are steps to reach the property so if you are not comfortable traversing this daily it’s the only drawback but it’s nothing negative

• Ramya (9/5): Overall, it was a pleasant stay with helpful staff and a great location. - I really liked how friendly and welcoming the staff were during my stay. The breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety of options. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the area. I felt that some of the facilities could have been a bit more modern or better maintained. The room could also have been slightly more comfortable. Overall, these were small issues but still noticeable.

• Izabela (8/5): Excellent location and staff but in desperate need of repairs. - It’s in a beautiful location. Great view, great staff, clean. It’s in quite disrepair. The room I was staying in was very damp with dehumidifier filling up within few hours. There is no window. The aircon is very noisy, I had to turn it off to get some sleep. So is the fridge. It only has two settings- noisy and freezing or off 🤣 The taps in the bathroom are loose and leaking. Paint on the walls is peeling. The swimming pool is not heated, ice cold. Stairs down to the property are very steep and sharp and there’s not sufficient lighting so quite dangerous after dark.

The hosts we - Outdoor pool, helpful host The only downside was not being able to use the sunbeds right in front of the pool – my designated ones were in front of my room, a bit further away from the pool.

No tienen recepción 24h, funciona básicamente como un AirBNB. El personal es poco simpático y solo te hablan por whatsapp. Teníamos un vuelo nocturno, y solo te guardan las maletas hasta las 5 de la tarde. No te ofrecen ni un baño donde poder cambiarte después.Muy decepcionante comparado con otros hoteles que hemos estado en la isla.
• Taya (7/5): Beautiful views, nice breakfast but broken air conditioner made the stay uncomfortable - We loved the views from our room, the location was good (just lots of steps so be prepared) and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. A large variety and the woman who cooks is lovely & you can select what time you want your breakfast freshly cooked. Our air conditioner didn’t work throughout our stay which really impacted our ability to enjoy the accomodation. It was often hotter in our room than it was outside. They came to ‘fix’ the aircon on our second day after complaining approx an hour after we arrived, however they just stated it appeared to be working fine on the roof and to keep it at 21 so it didn’t overwork. This was a huge issue for us and made the stay very uncomfortable as we didn’t want to stay in our room (heart suite) as it was too hot. The room sat at approximately 27 degrees all day and we had to open the windows to be able to sleep. The room also could have been a bit cleaner and they need to replace some of the tired furniture (ie the sun loungers in the heart suite).

• silvana (10/5): Estadía de ensueño. - El departamento Love súper amplio para 4 personas, muy cómodo y hermoso. Lo mejor de todo es la vista insuperable desde cualquier punto del complejo. El personal muy atento para ayudarnos a subir y bajar las escaleras con el equipaje, ya que como en casi todo SANTORINI está lleno de escaleras, pero es lo que lo hace aún más pintoresco. Me gusto todo.

• Victoria (8/5): Beautiful setting and great location - By far the best thing about Alta Vista is the location and view. The location is wonderful, a couple of minutes from Firostefani and a lovely walk into Fira one way, or Imerovigli the other both of which I’d recommend for food rather than Fira. The view from our room was incredible, we stayed in Senses and could walk out straight onto the pool area. The pool was a generous size and overlooking the Caldera. I loved that breakfast was served to eat outside your room so you could enjoy the view, however for the cost of the accommodation I would have expected something better quality, and a little more choice, the same fruit was served every day (watermelon) something simple such as something on toast, granola or fresh pastries would have made a nice change from cereal and eggs everyday. The lady who made and served the breakfast was very friendly and did a great job in the very small kitchen she worked from! I found the interior and exterior to be clean and well kept, other than the old sunbeds which needed removing as were a little unsightly. Some signs at the top of the road would help, it wasn’t easy to find especially when you have luggage with you. It’s very difficult to carry bags up and down with no help, and we are relatively fit. I asked for dairy free milk as I have a dairy intolerance and was told it couldn’t be accommodated, so I had to go and buy my own from the supermarket which wasn’t any trouble but something the hotel could have easily done.
• Travelguris (1/5): outdated and poorly maintained property,bad service,no view from Love Suite's sunloungers,overpriced - Room: The room felt cold and impersonal, with no decoration, no pictures, and a clear lack of attention to detail. It was poorly maintained and completely lacked in charm. In the bathroom, we noticed black spots that resembled mold – definitely not a pleasant sight. Furthermore, we did never receive pool towels. Terrace: The terrace was in poor condition. Everything felt outdated and neglected, with no sense of style or atmosphere. There was no view at all – just a blank wall directly in front of us when lying on our sun lounger on our terrace. So this actually could be anywhere and gives you no Santorini vibes. There is also no privacy on the private terrace: for example, guests from the upper suites sit on the edge of the pool right above the Love Suite terrace, as they themselves have no seating or lounging area by the pool. Additionally, the cleaning staff’s supply room opens onto the Love Suite terrace.. Breakfast: Breakfast was disappointing. Unless you eat omelets, the offering is extremely limited: one slice of bread, a tiny piece of cake, a glass of orange juice, some watermelon, and filter coffee or tea. Despite being three guests, we only received breakfast portions and plates/cutlery for two the first day. On top of that, the table was far too small to accommodate more than two people comfortably. But the Love Suite should be able to accommodate up to 4 people. Pool: The pool was a highlight – spacious, clean and offering a beautiful view. But then came the next issue: it’s not possible to relax by the pool on a sun lounger, as the four loungers and two umbrellas belong actually to the two suites next to the pool and they therefore occupy or reserve the sun loungers day and night. So, if you relax on their loungers by the pool (the hours between check-out and check-in of others), you get scolded from the new guests. Property/Overall Condition: The entire property feels outdated and poorly maintained. Love Suite is significantly overpriced.

• Gmaftei (10/5): A decent option for your stay in Firostefani with a great view of the caldera - Out of all the places we've stayed in Santorini, this one was our favourite, being the place with the most stunning view of the caldera. The room was ok, but most important you are just a few (steep) stairs away from the main walking street of the charming village of Firostefani. The breakfast provided has been really good and tasty and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Due to the nature of the building (half carved) the moisture control in the room was not the best possible, leading to a funny smell, but nothing too disturbing. Once the AC was on it was fine.

• Avril (9/5): Stunning views of Fira - The breakfast was huge! The hot food arrived cold due to the wait but not to worry when everything else was fabulous. Fresh water to the room everyday but our fridge was freezing everything. The views were amazing. They were great at sorting our transfers to the airport. We had asked questions about car rentals or bus routes before we arrived and messaged during our stay too but never got any response or advice unfortunately.

• Cynthia (9/5): Breath-taking views of the Caldera Cliffs and Sunset - The view is absolutely stunning, one of the best on the island and main reason I picked this hotel and did not disappoint. Sunset is amazing with the lighting on the panoramic Caldera views. The infinity pool is also very nice for photos. The Manager George is very friendly and helped with luggage as there are quite a few steps going down to the room. Location is great as just a scenic 15mins walk to Fira and the main bus stop and many restaurants on the way. Easy free public parking at the top of the hotel during low season in April which makes our visit much easier as car services/taxi super expensive on the island. Decent breakfast that they deliver to the room. Everything works but the room can use a refurbishment, could use a paint job and small fixes/touch up all over the room as a bit old. Also the room is a bit small, barely can open 2 large luggages. Not a must but it would also be nice if they add a coffee machine in the room. It is a small boutique hotel, so minimum services (only 9am to 5pm), but very peaceful as only five rooms. The view does make up for most of it and not a big problem.

I didn't like the fact that reception was not signposted and that I had to carry my suitcases down several steep and narrow stairs which was not described when booking and had to carry them back up when checking out.

However that is the norm on the mountain side hotels and suites. However it was worth it due to the panoramic views of the blue see islands and mountainside white homes typical of Santorini.

The hotel is easy to access, specially when compared to other locations in Fira since most of them are very far away from any parking lot. The hotel staff helps you carry your bags. (Very useful considering the stairs) The room furniture and bed are old and low quality. The bathroom mirror is damaged and windows are not clean. The hotel had been paid months in advance but the staff wanted to photocopy our credit cards on arrival (photocopying credit cards implies an extremely high risk of getting robbed in case someone accesses the card info if not properly kept and/or destroyed) After leaving the hotel they sent us and invoice which included more than double of the price we had already paid. They apologized and did not charge us any extra money. The views are outstanding but the facilities and service do not match the price.

Beautiful location overlooking the entire city of Santorini and the sea + volcano. The rooms are amazing and the staff provide you with everything you could possibly need. They are also very friendly and provided great recommendations as well as help with transfer to and from the airport or Port of Santorini! The complimentary breakfast is also quite exceptional and delicious! They deliver it to your room to provide you with the luxurious feel of Santorini. Overall, would definitely recommend staying here :)

• Kyriakos (10/5): Exceptional - Thq alta vista suites was amazing with outstanding views! Very friendly and helpfull staff and fantastic breakfast served just outside tour suite! Probaply one of the top hotel with sea views you can find in santorini ! Nothing negative about our stay ! Everything was great
• Preeyanan (8/5): Very good - Very good view from the room and swimming pool. The room is comfortable. Location is good and near Fira center. I reserved via Booking. Hotel charge 50% first before your stay and another 50% at the first day of stay and they should give these detail in booking because the booking just said pay at property. It’s real charge, not guarantee like staff tried to explain. The place that you can leave luggage is just table near swimming pool, no privacy at all. Breakfast is a lot but just normal taste.
