- Marina (5/5): - The hotel is located in a walking distance from Kings College Denmark Hill campus, there is a bus nearby which goes to city center which is very convenient and a subway station nearby. The staff is very responsive and replied within minutes late in the evening. I’ve stayed at this hotel before, and on previous visits it was much cleaner and better maintained. This time, despite booking a superior double room, the room felt worn, dusty, and dark. Most importantly, the bathroom was in very poor condition, with dirt behind the toilet seat and a very unpleasant smell coming from it. I eventually had to request a room change.

- Steven (1/5): Absolutely disgusting rooms (x2), filthy, mouldy and refusal to issue a refund. - I booked this room as it was close to the 58th Street Jazz Club. I booked a room at Peckham rooms as it was the closest to the venue - we arrived and was given a room that was filthy, dirty sheets and pillows, filthy shower, dust/dirt on every surface, water dripping down the walls and it was freezing cold. There was mould around the windows as well. I complained and said I would like a refund, I was shown a second room - equally as uninhabitable. I have been trying to get a refund from Peckham rooms and Booking.com since Dec 2025 and they have refused over and over again. Telling me first that I didn't show up, then when I provided proof - they said I checked in and stayed so no refund would be issued. I have asked multiple times and have been refused - £150 for one night in what I can only describe as a 'bedsit or a cr@ck-den'. I can tell you that all these 5* reviews are completely false! There is no way anyone thinks this hotel is great. Disgusting! Try looking on Trip Advisor for accurate reviews! Booking.com showing 7 out of 10??? No way.
- Laura (7/5): A good budget option, you get what you pay for - The superior room size was decent, easy self check in, lots of shops locally. Room was clean. Big communal kitchen downstairs with tea coffee facilities etc. Modern room. I'd stay again for the price for a night or two. The mattress wasn't comfy, you can feel the springs. OK for a night or two max. Walls are paper thin, you hear everything, even shower, toilet next door etc. People making a lot of noise in the middle of the night, shouting on the phone in hallways, moving furniture etc. It seems some people live there long term. Fan in the bathroom doesn't work and there's no window in there & its tiny. Not the easiest to get to from Euston, an Uber for of 4 us when we left worked out best.

- Joanne (6/5): Better than expected - Room actually better than expected, insulated from road noise and not far from the Wind rush line. Self check in was easy. Fairly good for the price point. Mattress was not very firm, we're not heavy people and def felt the springs. The shower room is also VERY small, any larger person would have a struggle getting in. The insulation from corridor noise was also not great, we were just up the stairs and could hear everything going on. Codes for doors is generally a nice idea but not when your battery dies!

- Bryony (5/5): It met my needs for this visit. - Venue easy to find and the room was surprisingly quiet and couldn't hear the noise from outside. I could hear other guests but not too late. The bed wasn't that comfortable and room was rather stuffy due to the fact you couldn't open the window, but do understand the room was quiet because of this fact.

It was a 12min walk from Peckham Rye train station and its on bus route,only 10min train journey from London. The area is not Upmarket and graffiti on public walls bring area down. - Nynke (7/5): prima kamer maar vieze badkamer - de kamer was een prima formaat en goede aansluiting naar het centrum, de kamer was klein maar niet verkeerd voor 2 personen de badkamer viel wel erg tegen, er hing een vieze lucht een beetje een mix van pis en een metro station/ afval lucht, en de douche zag er niet schoon uit, zou me niet verbazen als er veel schimmel aanwezig was, het zit ook dichtbij een politie stations dus we hoorde de hele dag/ nacht sirenes

I was expecting an un-staffed reception, and was anxious as I hadn't received any access codes, but he was there, was helpful and friendly every time I encountered him. Brilliant! The bed was awful. I barely slept. No firmness at all, just soft and sagging. Truly dreadful. Everything else was fine. On such trips I require only a bed, a shower, a kettle (in the lounge downstairs) and wifi, so perfectly adequate.

- Rami (4/5): Cheap and cheerful you will get what you paid for - The staff were helpful with organising everything. The hotel is ultimately a cheap and cheerful place. So does what it says on the tin. There is no sound proofing so all the noise in the lobby, people walking and even other guests in their showers are all very clear to hear. The road noise was also a bit of a nightmare. While they did try to make the room look nice. It was was cheap furniture which just wasn’t comfortable

On arrival, the staff at the reception Shibin was very welcoming and helpful. Nice clean room with clean white bedsheets. Good location with good transport links to central London. Overall, good value for money. Highly recommended. Nothing!

Abbiamo approfittato di un’offerta di Booking che ci segnalava uno sconto del 40% sulla struttura. Abbiamo soggiornato 5 notti. Premetto che io e la mia amica abbiamo un ottimo spirito di adattamento, ma questa volta è stato davvero troppo! Stanza sporca, lenzuola sporche, foto che non rispecchiano la realtà, camera super rumorosa (pareti talmente sottili da sentire tutto ciò che non vorresti!) e soffocante, finestra inesistente e bagno ORRENDO. Cambio degli asciugamani e pulizia della camera mai avvenuta. Amici, NON soggiornate qua nemmeno per un’ora!
