Gidon (6/5): House was fine, but management was rigid and heartless during a crisis - The house itself was perfectly fine—clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The location is lovely. The management (AvantStay) provided some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We faced a clear Force Majeure situation due to the current war in the Middle East, which led to major flight cancellations for our family members who were supposed to join us. Despite reaching out multiple times to explain that half of our group literally could not fly out due to the conflict, AvantStay was completely inflexible. They refused to offer even a partial refund or a simple credit/rescheduling for a future date. They preferred to hide behind automated scripts and rigid policies rather than showing any human empathy during a time of international crisis.
