• PEI HSUAN (9/5): 感謝老闆一家溫暖的招待 - 民宿老闆跟老闆娘都很熱情，也有接送至雪場的服務，小木屋很舒適溫暖，但可預期的是木造房屋隔音比較差，不過大家都是滑雪客，都蠻早就休息了，沒有遇到互相打擾的問題，值得再訪。 隔音較差，淺眠的人需要自備耳塞。
• Shelley (10/5): Staying in a Pension is a great way to experience a skiing adventure and we will definitely return to Snowfall Meteor. - We loved our stay at Snowfall Meteor. The hosts Qu and Mo are very accommodating - from our welcome on the first day, the lovely Japanese meals cooked for us, being chauffeured to and from the ski lifts and helping us to plan our transit to our next destination. We also liked the flexibility of ordering our meals to have at the Pension (a menu is provided from which you can order from), eating at one of the restaurants in Zao Onsen, or bringing our own food back to the Pension. Underfloor heating in bedrooms is terrific! Great for families.

• Michael (10/5): Truly a memorable experience! It is definitely a great place for family trips. - The place feels like home! Our family enjoyed our stay here as we were warmly welcomed by the owners. They were very accommodating and helpful during our stay. The location of the place was also near and convenient for people who will have skiing trips and onsen activities. The owners were kind and approachable. • Sarah (10/5): Best accomodation and hosts ever!!! - This is truly the best place to stay!!! The most amazing hosts, fabulous big breakfast and nothing is ever too much trouble - they are so kind! They picked us up from the bus stop, took us to hire our ski gear, sorted our ski passes and dropped us at the slopes and picked us up! Their hospitality is the best in Japan! The accommodation is sooo cosy and warm! The beds are really comfortable and we loved everything about our stay! You can not find better hosts! It is our second time staying here and we will definitely be back again! Highly recommend staying here!
• Anya (9/5): Comfortable stay, friendly hosts, great location - Our stay here was fantastic! The hosts are a very friendly couple. They speak Chinese and English so it was very easy to communicate. When we arrived, the host Ms. Qu gave us some recommendations in the Zao onsen village to go check out. Mr. Mao recommended and helped us get ski/snowboard rentals since we don't speak Japanese. The hosts are very friendly and introduced us to some of the other guests, and we all made some new friends. The lodging was very comfortable. The room was heated with under-floor heating and it was very toasty. (It was slightly too warm so we cracked the window...but overall very comfortable.) Even the shower seemed to have heated floors. We had breakfast in the dining area/lobby each morning. The breakfast was very tasty - the first day was two kinds of cheese toast (one was ham and cheese, the other was tomato and cheese), and the second day was scrambled egg with crab, sausages, and croissants. Dinner was also available to be ordered (Ms. Qu's cooking), and it was delicious. We had pad ga prao and stir fried eggplant. I was so happy that we could get dinner at the inn, because it has been so complicated getting dinner in other areas. Overall everything was great! Compared to some other adventures on the rest of my Japan trip, things were very smooth here. The floor gets quite warm so if you have anything heat-sensitive it probably should not go directly on the floor. I had my laptop in my backpack on the floor and it seemed to get hot, so I put it on the chair instead. It is a little bit awkward to share the bathrooms/sinks with other guests since the sinks are in the hallway.

• Sunny (9/5): Easy convenient stay for a family of four. No issues. - The hosts were friendly and helpful. Our room had 4 single beds, very comfortable for a family of 4 and enough space on the floor to put our bags as well. Shared bathroom just outside the room. The area is very pretty; it is surrounded by houses with beautiful gardens that are actually open to the public to view during spring and summer. The hosts allowed us to use their kitchen to heat up our porridge for breakfast.

• Maggie (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were more than friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is clean. The floor heating in the rooms provides warmth without decreasing humidity. The most comfortable stay I had during my ski trip. The hosts will drop off and pick up guests at the lifts so you can enjoy the Zao mountain. Not much around the location so be sure to eat before returning to the hostel.

• Christine (10/5): Extremely warm-hearted couple runs a cozy and beautiful lodge. - A lovely and heartwarming place to stay for a winter getaway. The couple that owns this business made us feel like family. Mao and Qu are so kind and welcoming. They treated us like family. They picked us up from the bus station, drove us to a wonderful dinner location (which they recommended), drove us to the ski resort, and helped with all our luggage. I was so happy to meet them and talk with them. The room is just as warm as the owners. The floors are heated and the beds are very comfortable. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

• Sarah (10/5): The most incredible hosts in a beautiful home! - The hosts are absolutely incredible!!! Nothing was too much trouble and they treated us like royalty - dropping us to hire skis, dropping us off to the ski lifts and picking us up at the end of skiing and they even took us to the Onsen and paid for our onsen tickets! They were so kind to our children and even gave them a gift and hand warmers for when we went skiing!!! They are the best hosts ever. We had a lovely, warm, cosy room and the shower was wonderful too! They went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay! Everything was perfect!!! We will definitely come back and stay here! It was just so fantastic!!! We highly recommend staying here!!! Nothing - everything was absolutely perfect!

• Casimir (10/5): Very charming and authentic stay 🎿 - It was a great way to enjoy skiing in Zao Onsen ! The pension is very close from the resort, owners can also drive you to the Ski lift. Discounted ski pass and free onsen ticket were proposed to us which we really appreciated ! It was an unforgettable experience and a nice way to enjoy skiing in Japan ⛷️ Thank you so much ❤️
• Vierhout (10/5): A vacation to never forget! - It was a very beautiful house with spacious rooms and a very nice shower! The location was sublime and we had a very cozy room, there was even floor warming and we slept like babies. The owners are very very kind and welcoming people who helped with everything during our stay! We highly recommend this place! Everything was sublime!!
