• amandabC4816ZY (8/5): Amazing stay just the food let it down - The location was amazing right on the beach and not far from the main square but still loads of shops where we were. We paid extra and booked a suite that came with a large balcony and sea view. The room was much larger than a standard hotel room, large tv mounted on the wall with the facility to use Netflix and prime this was a god send as it was so cold the first 4 days. The rooms nature hotel were absolutely immaculate and clean. Unfortunately there was no atmosphere even when we did manage to sunbathe there was no music playing and the atmosphere was dead this was the same for the evening entertainment until I asked him to play some music. As the hotel was 98% English a good old game of bingo would have most definitely brought a happy and friendly vibe instead of everyone keeping themselves to themselves. The food was the most disappointing and we did eat out quite a lot. Again the hotel was 98% English but the menu had not been tailored to the clientele and was very repetitive. All in all the staff were amazing and could not do enough for you he even came to my room to help me do the air con … twice cos I forgot. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat if the food and menu was improved but had a fab stay
• H9409OSmarkb (10/5): Great location 5 mins to flower St - Hello we have just had ten days at grand hotel sunny beach We are on our last day We have had a great time and have met some lovely people We got lots of help from Hristo on reception he was very helpful when we needed help he solved our problems All the staff in resturant were helpful also Food was OK english breakfast odd time not very hot but we pop them in microwave The cleaner she cleaned our room everyday fresh towel some people said there cleaner was not that good The location 5 min walk to flower St The Beach is really nice We Walked out the hotel stright on to the beach The deck beds are not out but we're soon going out they said We had sea view room which was good balcony nice to We will certainly come again Value for money If u also won't to go to neesebour u can catch a bus top of flower St near Janet's supermarket and taxi stand 1 euro each way bargain Thanks to all the staff we had a lovely stay Cheers Mark Bell
• ilinan2020 (10/5): Perfect family vacation - We had a lovely stay in the Grand Hotel Sunny Beach. My family and I were in an apartment on the 9th floor and we had a great room with sea view. The hotel is recently renovated. Great for a family with kids. They have a great kids club. There is a gym in the hotel and animation team that are super friendly. Overall we had a great time. Delicious food, good weather and we couldn’t ask for more. Will be back

The staff was very polite and even solved an issue we had with our room. The beach was quiet and beautiful I even took the most amazing pic of the sunset. The evening entertainment was extremely fun and we had the most amazing time ever. Would definitely recommend and come back next year.

• 164ivav (10/5): Loved it and recommend it - Spacious, beautiful interior, looks freshly renovated. The staff was friendly and nice to us when asked for extra sheets. Food was delicious, various themed meals for dinner. Kids were happy at the pool; it’s a wide one. Very enjoyable and pleasant stay as a whole.

• Tulie (4/5): could do better - we went to this hotel for the last two weeks of the season. We arrived around 13.30 and were told we had to wait until 15.00 to get our room, we asked if we could get a drink while waiting and was told no we needed to wait until we had our bands. at 15.00 we were pleasantly sup prised to find a lovely room with a balcony that if you leaned out to the right you could see the beach. Dinner time and very few options even the salad wasn't interesting with just a bit of cucumber, tomato grated cabbage and carrots all the food looked unappetising outside they did Chips and something the called Kabab but tasted like sausage The sweet table was a bit better with cake and fresh fruit. we found that lunch the next day was the same and it remained the same for the whole 2 weeks chicken and pork and tasted vile Breakfast was the best meal of the day BUT no bread rolls just sliced bread that needed toasting in a toaster that took 3 times to brown the bread, the bacon was rubber, the scrambled egg looked ok until you put the spoon in and then that was also rubber, the beans were fine but usually cold. Outside pancakes and eggs cooked fresh. Tea and coffee machines were plentiful with milk in jugs but you do need to take your own tea bags as the tea that was provided was not good with milk. the outside also did snacks during the day but beware of going to get something a few minutes early you would be given a very strong NO and shown the time. Most of the staff were surly with the exception of2 both of who work outside. as for the bar the blond lady was very nice but Dom the barman was forever asking for tips. there was entertainment most days Peter brilliant but only 45 mins best night was karaoke. room was not vacuumed for the whole time but we were always left 2 good quality toilet rolls each day that made us think that the cleaners knew all about the food. the beds were changed regularly' the hotel had a fines list 50 lev for taking food or drink to your room etc Would I return? a big fat yes to Sunny Beach but NEVER to this hotel

• buddymymate (6/5): Disappointing last day - Food good for a few days, then it was recycled into other dishes, bread stale and choices were getting less on desserts, mostly biscuits. Food became cold and less appealing. Entertainment just an hour every night, the same singer popped in for three of the nights. There were a lot of complaining customers. On the 10th day of my holiday they cut our wrist bands of at 12pm, we were leaving at 6.30pm for the airport. We could use inclusive until 2pm. So people going home at 11pm, had no inclusive for 9hours. Even access to a coffee and snacks would have been nice. I’ve not experienced this ever, always been able to use inclusive till we left any hotel. Very small grounds, a terrace with tables and chairs, not enough sun beds. Any juices are from machines, which is common practice, but would of been nice if I could of got a decent soft drink from the bar as I’m a non drinker, so I had coffee and water for ten days on my all-inclusive. Five coffee machines and coffees are good. Our room was nice but the tap in bathroom was wobbling badly, and one of the sockets was hanging out of the wall. This hotel could be better for its four stars. Make more effort on our last paying day. My last day was hard and miserable. Sunny beach area makes your holiday, beaches are perfect, just stay in a better hotel, you will be disappointed at the Grand Hotel Sunny beach

• Marsela (6/5): загалом непогано, проте не відповідає кількості зірок та ціні. - частина страв була смачна,особливо барбекю стіл на вулиці, великий вибір страв і напоїв , номери гарні. ліжка хороші. вигляд з вікна на море. різноманітне освітлення в кімнаті (проте було б добре на вимикачах мати надписи вказівники). лоббі-зона чудова, було дуже зручно чекати на свій автобус додому. проблема із ліфтами, лише 2 ліфта на такий великий готель. дуже мала зона відпочинку біля басейну, велика кількість гостей і часто брудно через це, бо персонал не встигає за всіма прибрати. не всі страви на ол-ін були смачні, не було натуральних соків - лише з концентратів. фруктів також не багато. часто було важко знайти місце де сісти. бо занадто багато гостей на таку не дуже велику територію для обідів. коли заселились балкон був не прибраний - було багато піску та послід птахів. не поклали потрібну кількість рушників в перший день. душ не прибирали за 2 дні. рушники не міняли. на 4 зірковий готель не дуже тягне.
• baileybumpkin (2/5): Worst hotel - The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The most miserable staff and the most awful food I’ve ever encountered. I wasn’t impressed when the pool bar closed on our first day, the reason, it’s the end of season next week…. Well, excuse me, but I’ve paid for all the amenities advertised. Couldn’t get a sunbed around the pool so we spent most our days on the beach which was lovely. Don’t book this hotel as it is rubbish and not a four star. Sunny beach is great though. We will be back but not to this dump.

• Taxishit (2/5): Grand hotel NOT - The food was disgusting very little choice and same every day, drinks sad and bar closes at 11pm, smallest and shallowist pool, hardly any sunbeds which were usually all reserved by 6.30 although reservations weren't meant to be taken till 8am. Staff rude and as miserable as sin and in no way helpful. Money spent on eating and drinking out as well as holiday cost I could of had a luxury holiday in the Caribbean..
• steviemacca (6/5): Good but could be much better - Firstly, Bulgarians can come across as rude and snappy. We found most of the staff very friendly and helpful. ‘Todor’, ‘Lilyana’, ‘Titch’ and the reception staff were all very nice. Food and drink could really do with an upgrade. The local drinks offered are pretty poor. Food, is always only warm, although the pizza served daily was very good. Food in general was hit or miss. Some days good, some days you might struggle to find something that you like. Salad was always good, as was the fresh fruit (although some greedy pigs would take all the grapes!). I’d suggest that they upscale the hygiene as both of us suffered from the trots in the first week and I can guarantee that we didn’t eat anything elsewhere. Tables, inside and outside, should be cleaned more frequently. Patio furniture by the pool is splattered by seagulls and seems, to never be cleaned. The lifts (2) are very grubby and you can wait for ever at busy times. It doesn’t help when one pathetic woman would press all the buttons on exiting the lift, meaning it stopped, unnecessary, on every level. Generally, indoor public toilets and spaces are clean and tidy. Our room (603) was a really nice surprise. Plenty of room for the two of us, plus a sea view balcony. If I have to be critical, the ‘wet room’ style shower is badly designed and flooded the bathroom constantly. Tea/coffee/water, strangely, is only supplied on arrival (enough for one day!) The safe was in an extremely difficult position to operate and seemed to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it would open easily and sometimes it just wouldn’t open!. I did hear one other person complaining about that. The wardrobe is ok for shirts but my wife’s dresses had to go onto the coat hooks by the door. Maids come every day , although they don’t really deep clean until you leave. They are very hesitant to supply anything(towels etc) over and above the room allotted supplies, even though we experienced constant flooding in the bathroom (due to aforementioned design issues). Aircon was adequate. Would we return, YES, we would but we’d probably have a few more meals away from the hotel. Entertainment was ok, a couple of decent singers plus ‘Bulgarian’ dancing and music which, let’s be honest, doesn’t interest your average Brit. Sunbeds have never interested us but I can tell you that there just isn’t enough and they’re hogged all day long by people who are hardly ever on them. The daily scramble before dawn was a sad sight. The hotel management should really sort it out. The hotel doesn’t supply towels for the sunbathing by the pool.
• ashleyfZ2623PG (10/5): Holiday - Myself and my Disabled husband have just finished a fantastic 10 night break at this hotel. The hotel is situated perfectly on flower street the main attraction to sunny beach, we were so lucky to have a room on the 11th floor so we could enjoy the views of the Black sea and the resort at the end of the season. My husband has some mobility issues so we hired a mobility scooter for him at a very reasonable price from a local British owned company (contact details in pictures) the hotel allows free charging of any scooter hired from said company which we found extremely convenient, we received excellent service and can highly recommend “Sunny Beach Mobility” So onto the hotel rooms, newly refurbished in a stylish modern but practical way, plenty of space and storage and large balconies to enjoy the views. The maid visits every day with fresh towels and services the room, she often changed our sheets for us so had the fresh bed feeling a few times. The room has a smart TV with built in Netflix, Prime ect, just need your own login. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided also. The wet room design of the bathroom is very convenient especially for my husband with his mobility issues. So onto food, Breakfast is an abundance of the usual Bacon, sausage and eggs but also you have the option of a fresh omelette cooked in front of you with your choice of filling, can highly recommend this to start the day, all other breakfast options are available fresh fruit, nuts yoghurt, there is something for everyone, we especially like the bread choice provided, Bulgarians can most definitely bake beautifully which is notable around the resort with many bakery shops. Lunch and Dinner offers a huge variety of options both local and international choices, a full salad bar is available for a lighter choice or accompaniment to your choice of meal, it’s worth noting that every meal time the outdoor kitchen is cooking meat fresh on the grill and baking stunning pizzas that my husband was very impressed with. There is a huge choice of deserts, homemade biscuits, cakes and pastries for a little extra indulgence, the chocolate brownies with fruits and seeds were particularly delicious. Ice creams are available later in the day for a cooling refreshing treat. So onto the Bars, as was the end of the season for our visit the pool bar was closed but the restaurant bar is still open all day with a huge choice of Alcohol and cocktails but the bar staff will make any drinks you ask for. Onto the staff, we have been overwhelmed with the level of service we have had, they have been so friendly and supportive throughout our trip, nothing is too much trouble we even had a brief chat with the busy owner of the hotel who is a visible presence in the hotel ensuring a smooth running. The hotel is extremely clean, we found that there is always a cleaner visible in the public spaces even until late at night keeping things hygienic and stocked up. The hotel has a very comfortable lounge style bar with big comfortable sofas with plenty of tables, entertainment is provided, we had singers, karaoke and the brilliant traditional Bulgarian dancers which we enjoyed immensely. To sum up, this hotel ticks all the boxes, location, comfort, great food but most importantly very friendly and clean. We will most certainly be returning to Grand sunny Beach.
• stevebL2002LP (10/5): Fantastic, friendly hotel - We have had an amazing stay at this 12 storey hotel late September 2025. We arrived at 3.30 am and was greeted by two friendly gentlemen on reception who provided us with some complimentary food and snacks and shown to our room. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high modern standard with excellent lighting and plenty of storage in the rooms, we were so lucky to have a sea view room too. (Pictures of the room took next day in daylight) the TV has built in You tube, Amazon Prime and Netflix to access your own accounts. The bathroom has a walk in shower with invisible drainage (wet room style) which we found so easy to use with excellent pressure. Complimentary toiletries are included. The room was immaculate and the maid attended every day with fresh towels and serviced our room to a high standard, our sheets were changed 3 times in our ten day stay. Extra pillows, duvets are available in the room if needed. The food at the hotel has been delicious, plenty of choice even for my fussy husband’s taste, the pizza is the best we have ever had genuinely, there is so much choice from local dishes to, lasagne, beef steaks, fried chicken, there is always open air cooking outside with BBQ meats and chips and the pizzas mentioned previously and a wide selection of fresh vegetables. The salad bar has everything you need from deli meats and cheeses to fresh chopped herbs and coleslaw. Deserts are plentiful with so much choice, fresh fruit, nuts and seeds are available at every meal time, extremely fresh Melon has been a treat for us, the Melons here are huge. Breakfast has all the usual English items plus an omelette station cooked to your taste and choice of fillings. There are 4 coffee machines with every choice of coffee you could think off with fresh beans used. There is a vast selection of Tea bags, fruit, mint and camomile to mention a few, I did notice baby porridge, formula and milk was available for people with very young children also. The pool area is very pleasant with plenty of Sunbed's, this area is also an extension to the restaurants seating area should you wish to dine outside with nice flowers and trees adorned. The hotel is situated perfectly on the main strip (flower street) 2 minutes through a secure locked gate (room key access touch pad ) is the beach, the beach is public so private venders charge for Sunbed's, around £5 for the day from talking to people as we didn’t use these. The hotel has a pleasant evening bar with entertainment in the evenings from singers to karaoke and we were treated to some traditional Bulgarian dancers one evening. There is a huge selection of drinks and cocktails to choose from, we found the bar had a great atmosphere with friendly staff on hand serving and keeping it clean and tidy. The staff at the hotel cannot do enough to help you with any enquiry, they are extremely friendly and polite and will do their best to assist. The public areas in the hotel are regularly cleaned, the cleaners are still cleaning these areas at 10pm so is always pristine. Overall this hotel has everything, great location, great rooms, great service great food and we will definitely return in the future for these reasons. A big thank you to the owner and her team for making our holiday so special.
• davidsT3851SG (2/5): Totally dsgusted - I went to the grand hotel sunny beach all inclusive i will never go back to it the beer was flat food was slops and pork was served every day entertaiment bulgarian dancers 3 night a week bingo 2 nights a week entertainment not as advertised in the lobe staff were rude and not helpful on to the room bottom sheet was not changed in 8 days and when they did change it it was with a stained sheet the room was never hoovered in 10 days thier was human excrement on the toilet brush when i went to clean the toilet the balcony faced a brick wall sournded bye dirty laundry dropped from rooms above the owner told us we can use the bar at the door which they own if we wanted a drink after 10pm as thier bars close at 10pm i paid 2000 gbp for this holiday and im truly sickened ive made a complaint to the coy and im waiting thier responce david

• samaC342FS (2/5): Never ever ever again - Sorry for the long review and if I’m honest I don’t normally do reviews but I thought this was a must due to false advertising on the hotels behalf. All I ask is you read to the end for your own peace of mind! So on arrival at the grand hotel sunny beach the reception staff was not prepared for our arrival as didn’t have enough all inclusive bands left and we was told to go in the morning before entering for breakfast or the reception staff would get Into trouble. We was given a black carrier bag with an apple and a sandwich think it was ham there was green bits on our ham and they went In the bin. You are given a complimentary bottle of water to make tea and coffee in room but only one if you want more you have to go buy water from the shops! Food there was a lot of variety of food there was also a lot of flies landing on it And the meats used was cheap and fatty! Sometimes foods was labelled wrong for instance chicken bites was in fact broccoli and cheese bites, lasagne was marked up and was in fact some form of cottage pie, breaded squid was in fact onion rings which is ok unless you have allergies to anything. Nothing was marked up with ingredients so it was pot luck what you got! Bar in dining room would only serve you alcohol if you was queueing up to get more than one drink for your partner or someone in your party and you wanted lager and coke you would have to queue at bar for lager and then queue at a machine for coke as the bartender would not serve Coke even though he had it on draft there it was too much hard work to let me order 2 drinks from same place. Plates cleared from table whilst still had food in my hand! Drinks taken whilst still liquid in cups. The pool was too cold to go in we went in on our first day for 5 minutes it was like having an ice bath there was toilet roll and chips floating in it and lots of dead bugs which can’t be helped with outdoor pools but we definitely didn’t see any staff cleaning the pool. There was definitely not enough sun loungers for the hotel as we only managed to get a bed on 2 occasions. Getting a sun lounger was definitely a chore. no entertainment around pool at all no music nothing the only entertainment was in the bar area between the hours of 8-9pm and was repetitive as we saw the same acts 2 times in 1 week! All inclusive drinks consisted of local lager called Diana which we was informed was only 2% and was always flat, coctails there was a choice of 4 blue lagoon, blue lady, sex on the beach and passenger, wine if you wanted anything such as martini this was at cost and not covered in the all inclusive. The hotel bar only remained open from 4pm till 11pm although it is on website from 10am till 10pm not sure what happened from 10am to 4pm why they decided after advertising it it would remain closed. The lobby bar would close and everyone would venture out to the bar just outside hotel which layer became Apparent was owned by same person but for some reason we had to pay in that bar which is probably why vat wasn’t open as long as it should be. Rooms was basic but comfy the mattresses seem to be plasticky or covered in protective sheeting so makes a noise when you turn over, cleaners came in every day but they literally brought 2 toilet rolls in, clean towels and folded your sheet no mopping of the bathroom and no change of bedding the whole week put sheets was stained on arrival and was not changed until we left. On one of the nights we got very drunk and was encouraged to go poor some drinks after hours as the bar tender at 11pm just said closed whilst there was a queue of people waiting to be served this was wrong of us we know this but was drunk but we was given a fine of 200 lev and forced to sign a declaration that literally slated us and our behaviour which we had apologised for or was told they was going to phone the police on us if we didn’t pay and kick us out of the hotel, they took our last 200 leaving us with 10 lev for 2 more nights meaning we had to go get some more money they however do not know us nor our situation we could afford this but they didn’t care so long as they got there money. We was provided with 2 key cards one had a crack in and when we put into the electric source the card snapped in 2 so we went to reception and was told we had to pay 20 lev for another card on day 1. Someone else’s had a breakage through no fault of there own and was told to pay up or police would be called entering there room whilst in bed which was disgusting. There was broken tiles in the stairwell which was loose and a trip hazard and the steps leading into the pool there was lots of small squared tiles broken away and just loose on the steps, they definitely do not put the money they charge into the hotel or the food. Bulgaria is beautiful loved our holiday in Bulgaria. Would we return probably not everything just seemed to be a money making scheme if we did return to Bulgaria we definitely won’t ever return to the grand hotel sunny beach this is definitely not a 4 star hotel and really needs that changing as it’s quite deceiving and not a true reflection of the hotel! Website states lobby bar opens at 10am Till 10pm this is untrue lobby bar opened at 4pm. Restaurant bar is open as states on website pool bar never opened once during our stay. Never saw a masseuse as stated on website nor did I see the hair and beauty salon or the gym or children’s play areas and the children’s swimming pool we thought was a jacuzzi as was no bigger than a jacuzzi! After been to a 4* last year and the difference in service I would give the grand hotel a 2.5 maximum 3 definitely not 4*. Will definitely be contacting our rep regards this hotel, its service and attitude of staff was disgusting especially the big tall bartender and some of the reception staff I found extremely rude. You couldn’t get us to go back if we won it as a prize all in all Inclusive holiday free of charge I would decline and stay home.

• 511sammya (2/5): NEVER AGAIN NOT IF FREE - Sorry for the long review and if I am honest I do not normally leave a review but I thought this was a must due to the mis-information and false advertising on the hotels behalf. All I ask is you read till the end. So on arrival at the Grand hotel Sunny Beach it was apparent the staff was not ready for our arrival as they did not have enough all inclusive wrist bands and we was told to go to reception first thing before entering for food to prevent them getting into trouble. We was handed a black carrier bag that contained an apple and 1 sandwich that looked like ham but which had green on so went in the bin. We was given a complimentary bottle of water to make tea and coffee but if you want more than one you have to buy from the shops. Food there was cheap and nasty, the first morning the first thing I noticed was the amount of flies that was landing on the food without any prevention in place, the meats you got at night was never anything but cheap nasty and very fatty, foods was labelled up incorrectly chicken nuggets was cheese and broccoli bites, squid rings was onion rings, and lasagne was in fact cottage pie which is a lawsuit waiting to happen if someone with allergies was to eat the wrong item. What you got was actually pot luck. Bar in dining room would only serve alcohol if you wanted an alcoholic drink and pop you had to queue at the bar and then go queue at the machines outside. As the bartender would just point in the direction of the machine and literally say the word "machine" utter rude. Plates would be cleared whilst you was putting your last mouthful in your mouth with cutlery still in hand, Drinks taken whilst still had liquids in cups. The pool was like an ice bath we went in on the first day and lasted a total of 5 minutes whilst in the pool we noticed all the broken tiles on the steps, the toilet roll and chips that was floating in the water and all the flies and bugs which I know cant be helped for an outdoor pool but this pool was not once cleaned in the time we was there. There was definitely not enough sun loungers as out of 7 days we only managed to sit around the pool twice trying to get a lounger was most certainly a chore. No entertainment around the pool at all no music nothing the only entertainment was in the bar area between 8pm and 9pm and was repetitive as we saw the same act more than once and was only there a week. All inclusive drinks consisted of lager called Diana which was the only lager/beer and was advised this was 2% and flat all the time, coctails consisted of Blue Lagoon, Blue Lady, Sex on the Beach and Passenger, wine if you wanted anything like Martini this was not covered under all inclusive and was charged. The website stated that the lobby bar was open 10am-10pm this is untrue lobby bar opened at 4pm, when the lobby bar closed everyone moved next door to which because apparent was owned by the hotel but all drinks was at cost, pool bar opened 10am-6pm this also untrue as this never opened whilst we was there. Rooms are basic but comfy mattresses appeared to have some plastic covering on as they made noises when you turned over so although was very comfy it woke you every time you turned over in the night. Cleaners came in every day but didn't clean, they brought 2 toilet rolls 2 towels and folded your bed sheet not once was my room cleaned nor was the bed sheets changed. On one particular night we got drunk with a group the bartender closed the bar at 11pm just said bar closed, leaving a queue of people waiting when he was told by someone he was rude he said you want drinks pour yourself, so taking this literal we went and poured 4 halves of lager and a coctail all of which are covered under the all inclusive, the receptionist came and told us we couldn't do this so we left immediately the next morning we was told we had a meeting with the hotel owner and our rep we was given 3 options 1 leave the hotel and find another hotel at cost to us, 2 they would call the police and 3 pay a 200 lev fine £100 and sign a declaration to say we would behave the declaration was disgusting with the wording they used was apparent they do not like English as we had apologised for our behaviour. We signed the declaration and the fine but it soon became apparent we was not the only ones getting fined as other families was being fined due to a broken handle in the room its just a shame they do not put all the fines they charge into doing the hotel up or buying better food. We was provided 2 key cards one had a crack in on day 1 this broke and again charged 20 lev £10 for another keycard. There was broken and loose tiles in stairwell and based on the fact that there was 2 lifts to service 12 floors you you would be using the stairs or waiting 20 mins for the lift so the loose tiles again are a trip hazard and a law suit waiting to happen. Bulgaria is beautiful loved our holiday in Bulgaria, would we return probably not everything just seemed to be a money making scheme if we did return to bulgaria be rest assured we would not be going back to this hotel not even if this was free. The grand hotel sunny beach is not a 4* hotel 2* 3* at a push. Website states lobby bar open 10am-10pm - lie 4pm-11pm Pool bar open 10am-6pm lie was never open Restaurant bar is open as states on website Never saw a masseuse nor did we see a hair and beauty salon or childrens play area the childrens swimming pool was no bigger than what you would expect a jacuzzi to be. The staff was definitely rude to the English, we overheard lots of conversations and the gist was the same they would not go back to this hote.

Staff always helpful and friendly especially the barman at the PUB connected to the hotel. Rooms cleaned every day with towels changed. I will be back again only not flying with Ryanair despicable airline and Tui would do well to find some other means of moving there customers This aside brilliant week and enjoyed every minute Thanks Fred Ferguson
• E408YPlaurent (4/5): Reasonable for the price we paid (£450pp) Definitely room for improvement. - Me and my Partner arrived at Grand Hotel Sunny Beach last thursday we arrived late hours at 3am and there was no food/Drink which was okay but most hotels i have stayed at offered this. The most we got was 2 small crossiants and an apple in a black carrier bag. Checked in fine and went upto the room. Now first look 🤨 oil based Stains all up the wall splattered. The bed sheets were dirty and stained. We was very tired after travelling so we just let it slide. First morning went down to the sunbeds at 8am to find there all nearly taken. Every day after i was awake at 6:30am putting towels down otherwise you’d be out of luck and have to go elsewhere to sunbathe. The pool was dirty and freezing cold. Now then the food.. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner was all the same variety every day, The chips was the best part every day. You could tell the salads had been covered up every day and served continuously each day. The beer was flat, Cheap spirits. 2 Elevators across the whole hotel which you can imagine you’ll be waiting a while when there’s 12 floors. There’s stairs which are optional but people who have mobility issues i would be frustrated having to wait. The staff were rude and i think staff play a big part in making your stay enjoyable. The nightlife is enjoyable and there’s plenty of shops and supermarkets just outside the gates of the hotel. Flower street is a 5/10 minute walk. Wifi worked absolutely fine for us so that wasn’t any issue, Now then our flight was at 02:15am and check out is 11am i asked reception about late check out which is 25 bulgarian lev per hour, we asked how much until 6pm they wanted 175 lev I wasn’t willing to pay this. When you check out your not allowed to use any of there facilities ie- dining, showers ect. There waiting to cut your bands off which yet again i wasn’t allowing since i paid for 7 days Overall it was a pleasant holiday and had lovely weather. I would return but definitely not to this hotel.
• magziw (4/5): Think again before using this hotel - I've used this hotel for last 6 years always nice the staff were lovely the hotel love and clean and easy to get about if your have problems walking....this year was horrendous the food everyday was the same not much choice and food always cold ...its always been nice and hot other years...now here is a warning my sister had her severley disabled daughter with her who had had a very small and I say small accident on the bed which marked the sheet my sister took it off and went and told the maid who couldn't speak a word of English and got the manager.....who gave her clean sheet for the bed.. then next day told her they wanted 107 English pounds for the sheet !!!a bloody sheet that would cost ten pounds .. my sister thought she pay the bill after much arguing over it one said to settle bill on leaving....now the manager for 2 days harassed my sister by sending the staff ever hour and demanding the money in dining room.outside even keep knocking on room door every half hour for 2 days !!!and shouting loudly about it ......not good just be warned anyone having a accident after food poison at this hotel will be penalised for it....sister went pay bill and they had added 20 pounds a day on it!my niece is severely disabled and cannot move quickly like anyone else . So anyone thinking of going that hotel with anyone disabled or have a small accident yourself be warned the harassment was horrific off the staff as the manager was keep sending them....never use that hotel again all because my niece gad food poison of there food penalised over a sheet !!!

Went with my friend for a girlie pop holiday and had to leave most nights because of right wing plebs but staff amazing. I don’t know how they put up with it !

The pool is small and there were never any spare sunbeds. They always had towels on but nobody actually on them. The pool bar was not open much. The actual bar, the alcohol was terrible. So many guests complained about it been watered down. The food was very poor for all meals. Same poor choice every day. Sunny beach itself was lovely. But would definitely not go to this hotel again. We are not fussy eaters, but the food was terrible.

• 953lynnen (8/5): Location makes this place - First time to Bulgaria but won't be the last. The hotel is in a brilliant location. The reception staff are lovely and friendly. Most of the staff are nice but there a guy on the grill who as an attitude. Never seen any entertainment but didn't really matter you can always go for a walk and find some. The pool isn't the biggest and short of sun bed's but your right across from the beach. Rooms are an ok size and nice. But we never had are rooms cleaned or bed's made all week. We had clean towels a couple of times. The public areas are very clean. Nothing in the kids room only a ballpit and a little climbing frame. The food was ok if you like pork or pizza they was on every day. But it cheap to eat out. We had a nice time and would return

• Experience34160 (2/5): Avoid this hotel! - I would rate this hotel lower but if I could! Upon arrival early hours of the morning the man on reception was rude and unhelpful. He didn’t tell us the way to our room and when asked where breakfast was served he said “ in the restaurant of course” l did expect it would be in the swimming pool. When we found the glorified canteen, some of the staff were rude, the food cold and unappealing. Neither my partner and l are not picky and can eat most things but not sloppy or burnt food. Hence we lived on salads most of the time which were quite nice. We did complain to jet 2 rep! She reminded us the Bulgarian culture is different to the British. We accept this but not all Bulgarians are rude in fact quite the opposite. If they don’t like us that’s fine, but don’t take our money then!! The hotel was spotlessly clean but the cleaning staff entered our room without knocking, she saw my partner naked! If we put do not disturb they did abide by this! To conclude this is the worst hotel we have stayed at and other British guests have said the same thing! Entertainment is a disgrace apart from Peter who comes and sings once a week for 45 minutes. When they play bingo it’s for a cheap bottle of cava and involves 1 card and a cocktail stick! The balls are picked from one box a put into another then highlighted on paper! The beer is flat and the pool bar man also very rude and we felt we shouldn’t be asking for him to serve us.

Hotelul este amplasat foarte aproape de plaja, ai acces rapid la plaja si promenade. Camerele sunt curate cu schimbarea regulata a lenjeriei si a prosoapelor. Si mancarea a fost foarte buna si destul de variata. Cateva minusuri sunt piscina, care este destul de mica si rece. Lifturi sunt doar daua si se sta destul de mult la coada. Sezlongurile de pe plaja nu sunt incluse in pret respectiv parcare exista doar cu plata.

• Christian (10/5): Wonderful Grand Hotel in the heart of the city center few meters from the sea - This beach front Grand Hotel is just absolutely amazing, The spacious swimming pool with very comfortable sunbeds and the variety of entertainment during the evenings is perfect. The rooms are very big with modern furniture. Since the moment I checked in I felt like being at home and the guy at the reception Mr Mitko was very helpful and kind explaining everything we needed to know. Also the other 2 guys Mr Zahari and Mr Dani were very professional and so friendly. Everything was unforgettable next time I'll come to Sunny Beach I'll definitely come to this wonderful hotel.
• 201punamt (4/5): Wouldn't return - We arrived very late in the evening and check-in was straightforward. A small welcome bag with a muffin, bread roll and apple was a thoughtful touch after a long journey. Sadly, this was one of the few positives. Room At first the room looked fine, but flaws quickly appeared. The air conditioning was weak, cups and mugs were dirty, and the suitcase holder was so badly placed I injured my knee on it. Walls were marked and grubby, which left the room feeling tired and unkempt. Housekeeping This was the worst part of our stay. The balcony was never cleaned, the bedding never changed, and there was no hoovering or dusting all week. The bathroom got nothing more than a quick surface wipe. Worse still, my makeup setting spray went missing. We searched thoroughly, including before checkout, and it was nowhere to be found. Reception were dismissive, insisting their staff are “thorough,” but this was clearly not the case. Other guests also complained of poor cleaning standards and missing items, which confirmed our experience wasn’t unique. Staff & Service Some staff were friendly, others unwelcoming. Overall service felt inconsistent at best. Food & Drinks Food was repetitive, often lukewarm, overcooked, and recycled between lunch and dinner. We ended up eating out. Drinks were equally disappointing. Limited cocktails, syrup-based and overly sweet, and spirits only available at a separate bar (not included in the all-inclusive). Pool & Beach The pool is far too small for the size of the hotel. Guests reserve sunbeds from the early hours (some even the night before), and staff don’t intervene. The beach itself is beautiful, but the hotel doesn’t provide sunbeds. Expect to pay 9 Lev for a sunbed, 9 Lev for a table, and 9 Lev for an umbrella every day. Security also felt lax. The gate between the pool and beach has a key-card system but was never locked, meaning anyone could walk in off the strip. Hotel & Facilities The hotel looks nice on first impression, but it’s clearly in need of renovation. Lifts worked fine for us on the 12th floor, but guests on lower floors reported issues. Excursions (TUI) The sunset catamaran was cancelled due to rough seas, but we did attend the Bulgarian Night excursion. The performances and food were good, but the seating arrangements were poor. We were split from our group and placed far away. We asked to be seated nearer our group but were refused, as staff said those tables were reserved for guests of a particular nationality. Being separated like this felt unfair and took away from the experience. We were moved slightly closer after repeatedly asking. Local Area & Shops Shops on the strip are very hit and miss. Prices are inflated and seem to change depending on who’s buying. Overall, it felt very money-driven and expensive. Overall The hotel has potential, but poor housekeeping, missing items, weak service, disappointing food, costly extras, and security concerns made it impossible to properly enjoy our stay. The missing belongings, and the hotel’s dismissive response, were the final straw. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel and would not return.

THe BBQ guy is not putting enough meat on the BBQ and people have to wait. The elevators are slow and small for this building. Very frustrating.

Aglomerația din sala de mese și liftul care tot timpul era foarte aglomerat mai ales că am stat la etajul 9 ! Parcarea a fost plătită ceea ce nu a fost normal ! Hotelul ar trebui să aibă propria de parcare !

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere of the hotel made our trip truly enjoyable. What stood out the most, however, was the outstanding hospitality of the receptionist, Daniel. From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. При напускане на хотела стаите се освобождават до 11.00 часа, но ако гостите желаят да останат до по-късно е помислено за всички удобства - стая за багажа, шкаф за ценности, баня. Добре би било да има и шезлонги и чадъри на плажа към хотела, но това не е проблем. Съобщението цена - качество е перфектно. С удоволствие бихме посетили хотела отново. Препоръчвам хотела! Няма нещо, които да не ми хареса.
