• Ben (6/5): Pleasant - The fitout of the flat was simple and smart. Little features like a toaster grille was helpful While the flat was well appointed, the rest of the building was a little, well, grungy.
• Cara (6/5): Great location and well priced, with great potential with a bit more host polish & experience. - Amazingly well located to Osaka's key attractions, and public transport. Comfortable beds, nice linen. Smart TV, where you can access streaming content with an account. Well priced for the area. Burger restaurant next door is terrific, as are restaurants in the street. Clean, and comfortable overall. It may be a language issue, but some of the communication from the host was not friendly or welcoming (felt like a chided intruder, not a guest). Repeated instructions to depart on time, multiple things being strictly forbidden, threats of fines and charges being applied for a multitude of things such as stealing or breaking things (!), using words like 'cheating' by exceeding the number of occupants and the use of security cameras to catch people out. Probably not intended, but quite rude and unprofessional. The key box for retrieving the key was an unstable, unsecured cabinet, that could topple over. This should be fixed. A single key for four people wasn't great, particularly given the keybox situation. Overall very noisy, with neighbours and other building occupant arrivals and departures (might explain all the ear plugs under the sink!) and woke us up many times over a three night stay. The main bedroom had a large cupboard that was difficult to access or use (as it was full of spare bedding, and no shelving). We couldn't fit two people's luggage in the room. Same situation in the second bedroom. No towel rails for wet towels in the bathroom or any shelving for toiletary bags. No dish rack, or paper towel to dry dishes. No tea or coffee supplied. Lounge chairs not facing the TV, or easily moved, so you needed to watch sideways, or lie down on the sofa.
• Enrico (9/5): Very nice apartments in amazing location! - The unit is very clean and new. Location is great, very close to Namba Osaka train station which brings us to Universal Studio also, close to OCAT Bus Station, which connects us to Kansai International Airport conveniently, or you can just walk around 8-10 minutes arrival to Dontoburi center. If you coming with family or friends, definitely we recommend this place. Nearby, there are 2 Family Marts (24hr) which you can buy necessary breakfast or snack. Different with hotels, the information in regards guests strictly need to be filled out before arrival, in order to get you the key. They have also washing machine (free), would be perfect if they have dryer too, even if this with coin (understood dryer consumes lots of electricity). All good!
