A very special thank you to Wifag, our absolute gem, who made our experience even more memorable with her kindness, warmth, and genuine care. He truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued. We leave with beautiful memories and would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a magical island escape. The only downside for us was the extremely high prices for many extras, including food, watersports activities, and transportation, which sometimes made it difficult to fully enjoy everything the resort had to offer without constantly thinking about additional costs. Aside from that, the experience itself was beautiful, relaxing, and filled with wonderful memories that we will always cherish.

- Jiří (10/5): - I don't even know where to start. Everything was absolutely perfect. After arriving early, they accommodated us immediately after cleaning the room, several hours ahead of schedule. All the staff were always friendly, smiling, and ready to fulfill our wishes (waiters, diving center staff, drivers, cleaning service, etc.). The food was delicious, high-quality, and well-prepared. Special thanks go to Arshad, who immediately arranged for our stay to be extended due to the situation in the Middle East and the impossibility of our departure. - Raghad (1/5): Scamming - From the first moment we stepped into the hotel they started creating weird excuses for charging us and then doubling the price then claiming they made a special discount for us like if we are 4 year old children! very annoying and disrespectful. We felt like dealing with a local market full of scammers not a 5 start hotel (supposedly). We booked a villa that’s written it had 2 twin beds and 2 king beds, when we arrived they said it’s only for two adults and the description is wrong on booking. They made us cancel from booking and book two villas from directly (again claiming they made a discount by charging us same booking rate while in fact they gained more when we pay them directly. It was frustrating and extremely annoying dealing with them, and they ruined our whole first two days talking about this). They charged us for a blanket we put in the balcony and got wet because of rain , AGAIN saying that the actual price is 280 but they made a discount to 140, when the bill comes it was 145, we asked them why? They said it’s tax. What tax is 3.5% in Maldives? Only god knows. They ended it by charging us for photos they didn’t give to us(they remembered to add it to the room bill but forgot to give us, all what they think about is the bill, not the service). We asked them to bring it to airport they refused and said we will ship it. God knows if they will do. We don’t trust them anymore. Highly not recommended. They made us decide it’s last time we go to Maldives.
- Eric (2/5): Racket - Il s’agit d’un établissement affiché comme 5 étoiles, mais dont le niveau de prestations est objectivement très décevant. Les transferts aéroport sont facturés 500 USD aller-retour par personne, alors que l’aéroport est situé à proximité immédiate, que le bateau n’est pas privatisé et que le coût réel du service est sans commune mesure. Le tarif pratiqué est, de façon objective, près de dix fois supérieur au prix normal. À titre d’exemple, un simple verre de champagne rosé est facturé 80 USD, hors taxes et pourboire, ce qui relève d’une politique tarifaire abusive. En résumé, les prix sont excessifs et disproportionnés par rapport à la qualité réelle des prestations, qui demeure très en-deçà des standards attendus pour un établissement de ce standing.

- ibrahimz747 (10/5): Wonderful Family Stay with an Unforgettable New Year Celebration. - We stayed at SO/ Maldives with our family from 30th December 2025 to 2nd January 2026, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized and welcoming. The villa was very comfortable, well maintained, and equipped with excellent facilities. We especially enjoyed the variety of food options, with great quality and flavors throughout our stay. The highlight was the New Year celebration, which was fantastic. The event was lively, well planned, and full of entertainment, creating a great atmosphere for both adults and kids. Overall, it was a lovely family holiday, and we created some beautiful memories. We would definitely recommend SO/ Maldives and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Sue was our host and was the most incredible assistant I have ever experienced at a hotel, always available, developed a lovely relationship with our three year old and even picked her up from kids club to drop her back to our villa. Special thanks to our wonderful assistant (Ana) who made our stay more comfortable by sharing the activities for each and every day via whatsApp, as well as responding to us so quickly whenever we texted or called her. Make sure to receive all your luggage once you leave the boat that brings you from the airport, as we did not receive two luggage upon arrival. The food is over priced and its below average taste. The dinner might take 45 to 50 minutes to be served. Make sure to receive your bikes’ tags and hang them on your bikes as soon as possible so that other guests will not take your bikes accidentally.

- rebeccai426 (8/5): A hidden gem in the Indian Ocean - This is a relatively new resort that I have recently discovered. It opened up over 2 years ago and has had its popularity skyrocket over the past year. I stayed here over peak season with my sister and daughter, we all thoroughly enjoyed our time. The staff is friendly and attentive, and willing to try their best to ensure their guests are comfortable. The amenities are new, clean and well taken care of. There are a multitude of activities and the food is superb. From Lazuli to Citronelle restaurant, the service was just impeccable! While this is a spot that has been up until now popularity has predominated amongst couples and adults, the presence of children/ families with kids is growing really fast, as a result there was a shortage of appropriate sized bicycles for all the kids. That is the only downside I can think of in order to give a realistic review. I do believe that this past December was a time when they received their biggest number of children, and the demand for a larger variety of children’s bicycles has encouraged them to have more available. We had the opportunity of having our own personal hostess called Ana Boolaag. We also had our personal assigned housekeeper called Sharif, they both took exceptional care of us. We are fussy bunch but Ana always made time and put in so much effort in meeting our needs.Other than that SO Maldives owes us nothing, we had a lovely time and encourage you all to try it out!! It is great value for money!!

We were met by a helpful, knowledgeable and a kind man Arshad who made sure we were settled in comfortably after a long journey. We occupied Beach Villa 213 and my son occupied Beach Villa 226. The F&B Service Staff at Citronella were amazing, very obliging, very attentive and took care of all our needs despite their active and busy schedule attending to many, many tables. We were overwhelmed by their hospitality and warmth. The cuisine was superb, delicious and varied at Citronella. We were blessed to be personally attended to by Head Chef Robbie and Director of Catering Nyoman. Finally house keeping staff Kabir and Rimon were polite ad very thorough in their cleaning. - R7676EYammara (2/5): Horrible Hotel - This hotel was an absolute disappointment! The room pictures were far from the reality. The toilet smelled like sewage, and despite our request for a fix or a new room, they completely ignored us and never returned. The swimming pool was freezing, and there was no heater, making it impossible to enjoy the villa even on a sunny day. The “butler” assigned to us was mediocre at best. He had no experience as a butler and had incredibly low standards for luxury, which is what the hotel advertises. We booked a stay that included multiple services, but he didn’t inform us about them and was determined to ignore them until I pointed out what was included in my package. The quality of the food in the restaurants was equally poor. The breakfast waiters were clueless, and the buffet had a limited selection. It took about 30 minutes to get an omelette, which was hardly a luxury. The lunch and dinner options were equally disappointing, with a lack of quality and selection. To make matters worse, our flight was at 6 pm, and we requested an extra 2 hours for late check-out until 2 pm instead of the scheduled 12 pm. However, they wouldn’t accommodate our request, even after speaking to the hotel manager. They only gave us until 1 pm, leaving us waiting in the reception from 1 pm onwards. To add insult to injury, they wouldn’t provide a transfer to the airport until 3:45 pm, leaving us sitting in the lobby for 2 hours and 45 minutes. And to our surprise, while we were waiting, we noticed other guests leaving their rooms and coming to the lobby by 3 pm. When we asked them, they revealed that they were actually allowed 3 hours late checkout! Overall, our experience at this hotel was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I believe that the entire staff and butlers should be replaced or undergo extensive training to improve their service.

- codyh2024 (10/5): Phenomenal anniversary trip - We had an amazing time at SO Maldives for our anniversary trip. When we first arrived at the airport, they were there to greet us with a sign to a private boat to take us from the airport to our resort. When we arrive to our over the water villa everything was decorated with a bottle of welcome sparkling wine, fruits, and cake. Every Employee was so friendly even the groundskeepers and the maintenance crew would smile and waved at us during the entire trip. The highlight of the trip was both the scuba diving experiences, and the people. Reach me or we would frequently have the same servers for breakfast, lunch, dinner and it is really a testament to how hard the staff works here. Every time they see you, they truly seem excited to see you again. The scuba diving was a seamless process and they allowed us to dive every day that we wanted to go out even at last minute notice. We got to see some amazing underwater, sea life, and some of the best dive sites in the world. Our scuba instructor was consistent through throughout the trip which made us feel very comfortable. The spa was also one of the highlights of a trip and the spa services were very reasonable for higher end luxury resorts in terms of prices. We booked two spa treatments during our trip, but wish we would have booked more as it was very personalized service and perfect for couples. Shifaz did a phenomenal job cleaning our room and every time we would come back from the pool or beach or a dive trip we would have fresh towels, changed linens, and new water awaiting for us. He would check in with us multiple times a day to make sure we did not need anything. Our GEM Ana was fantastic as well and always responded to us very quickly with any questions or concerns and helped arrange meals, scuba trips and boat transfers to crossroads

The rooms were very large and absolutely beautiful. There were so many activities & so many gym classes ( Abdul the fitness instructor was amazing, good fun & motivating) We were provided with bikes to get around the island.

- MigC20 (10/5): SO/ Special - We have just returned from a 4-day break at SO/Maldives and we had a fabulous break! The resort is gorgeous; small enough to get around by bike (provided of course) but big enough to be able to explore whilst having three different restaurant options, perfect for our short break. It's only a 20 minute speed boat ride from the airport, which suited us perfectly as we didn't want to spend a lot of time travelling. The crystal clear water and white sandy beaches are as you would expect in the Maldives, and there was lovely calm bay on the inside of the resort, and some little coves and beaches on the other side, with slightly choppier water facing Male. The beach villa we stayed in was gorgeous; contemporary and stylish, it had plenty of space and we also got a "capsule" for a second room for our son. Private pool and few steps walk to the beach was perfect. Super comfortable, beautifully appointed and great amenities. The restaurant choices were good; the Italian at Lazuli beach club was nice, albeit there was a bit of a mix of cuisines, and not enough pasta choices for my liking, although the pizzas were good; Citronelle was the spot for breakfast, which was really excellent, and Asian and Western food for lunch/dinner, and was probably our favourite restaurant; Hadaba is in a lovely spot on the resorts coastal edge, and is a very good Lebanese/Middle Eastern restaurant, although somewhat pricey for the mezze. The service was really excellent, from the moment we arrived (with waving staff greeting the boat as we arrived at the jetty, White Lotus style!) to our departure; arrival and check-in was seemless, we were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived and the whole experience felt special. We were taken care of by Sue, who was our host during our stay and couldn't have been more helpful; we had daily updates on activities, she booked our restaurants and watersport activities, was super helpful with everything, and was just so warm and upbeat. She really made our stay special! Even departure exceeded our expectations, with their staff taking care of us during check-out, from embarking to disembarking from the boat, into the airport, through security and even to check-in! We were waived off at the gate by Mohamed Armeen, who had looked after us all the way through. Amazing service. In short, I couldn't recommend SO/Maldives more highly - we had an excpetional time and made some incredible memories. Thank you SO/ Maldives team on looking after us so comprehensively (and for the special arrangement on arrival for my wife's birthday!) and for making our trip so special. Keep up the good work!

- chongmoua (10/5): Absolutely Relaxed - We came here as our last leg from our hustle and bustle Christmas market tour in Europe. A way to unwind after living in our suitcases for a week. SO/ was on our agenda since they opened roughly two years ago. We wanted to see what SO/ can offer, and plus, it’s the Maldives. Pros: the island is well kept by what I call the “hidden heroes.” Without these people, the island itself would not look this immaculate. Kudos to the hidden faces of this island. Our room, 316, was well kept and stocked. Our bed was magically made after breakfast and magically turned down after dinner. The cooks and the “behind the scene” people in the kitchen, also part of the unsung heroes, had clean dishes and utensils with phenomenal cuisines that lived up to our expectations. The frontline staffs, Sue, Massi, Luna, and Kadek are quite friendly. Sue greeted us upon arrival and is always happy to help us from arrival to departure. Sue set up all of our schedules such as our dinner reservations to our massage appointments with no hitch or hiccups. Even a buggy ride from our villa to the restaurants was quite speedy. Massi, hopefully I’m spelling his name correctly, was somewhat reserved during our first encounter. But he seemed to loosen up and is quite a swell gentleman. He is helpful and attentive might I add. He remembered that I like my food with spice, Thai chili or Maldivian chili. During dinner he would always remember to bring some Thai chili on the side with my plate. Of course I jokingly told him I flew across the world to have some Maldivian chili and am saddened that they haven’t got any shipment in. Massi said he will see what he can do. Shortly after, Massi brought me the Maldivian chili that I’ve longed for. Superb stretch Massi for going to great lengths for little old me, LOL! Luna too, went to great lengths to give us such excellent service. She asked us questions of what we liked and what she can do to better our stay. We let her have it that evening. But instead of just hearing us out, Luna took it upon herself to oblige our questions and answers. She set up a special dish upon request for breakfast. She also set up another special dish, not on the dinner menu, for our dinner. That is service or what Buzz Lightyear would say, “to infinity and beyond!” because that’s exactly what Luna did. She went to infinity and beyond to make us feel special. Kadek, my three hour massage therapist, has amazing massaging skills. I’ve had many massages in my lifetime and I would have to say that I will compare all my massages to Kadek’s from this moment on. He knew where my tensions were. He concentrated on them tensions. The pressure was perfect. Never too intense where I was uncomfortable or too light where it didn’t justify the tension. Again, the pressure was perfect. I told my wife that if I had an unlimited resource of money, I’d hire Kadek to get a massage everyday. Cons: although everyone, the staffs, that we’ve encountered, there’s absolutely no name tag attached to them. There were only a few handful of staffs that actually introduced themselves to us. For the majority of the time it was just a welcome comment with no name introduction. There should be name tags so guests like ourselves don’t have to guess what to call them. The frontlines, EVERYONE, that are interacting with guests should introduce themselves. Yes, we would like to know the names of the persons that are seating us to our table or taking our orders. As I mentioned earlier, there were only a handful that did introduced themselves, while the majority didn’t. Although the food during dinner was phenomenal, the breakfast on the other hand was quite mediocre to say the least. I felt like breakfast was catered to one population and the rest of the other population are out of luck, they’re stuck with what’s on the menu. It’s fine if someone is only at this resort for a night or two. But like ourselves where we’re staying six days and six nights with the same breakfast every morning, it gets old after the third morning. What I’m trying to say is that there isn’t a wider variety on the breakfast menu for the variety of people that visits this island, SO/. Overall I really did enjoy my stay here at SO/. The island is very well kept by the people behind the scene. The staffs themselves are very friendly. As for the cons as mentioned above, there is always room for improvement as there is for growth. I would not mind coming back to SO/ in five years.

Hands down service isnt something that can be bought it can only be felt through repeated actions and So/ maldives nailed it at being the best property and best hospitality. The a la carte menus across the restaurants were of very high quality, and we were fully satisfied with the food throughout our stay. The steaks served in the restaurants were outstanding and became a real favorite for our children. The lamb ribs at the Hadaba restaurant were exceptional and truly memorable. Seafood dishes, including shrimp and fish, were also excellent and beautifully prepared. As the kids’ menu was not fully suitable for our children, the restaurant management arranged full meals for them from the regular adult menu from the very beginning. This level of care, flexibility, and attention to our family’s needs made a big difference and was greatly appreciated. Overall, the service level, personal approach, dining quality, and professionalism of the entire team turned our stay into a truly enjoyable and comfortable experience. We are grateful for the warm hospitality and would gladly return.

We were taken care of from the moment we arrived at the airport with someone there to help us with our bags and escorting us to the boat transfer to the resort. The boat even had free Wifi! Even when we departed to go home, there was someone there to help us check our bags and get our boarding passes for our flights home. The overwater villa was everything and more than we expected! The view was incredible to wake up to every morning. Housekeeping came by twice a day to help keep the villa clean and would replenish towels for us as well as turndown the bed every evening. Getting around the resort was a breeze with buggy rides or using your own bikes that are provided for each villa. The food was some of the best food we have ever had! They have a wide assortment of foods to offer. We really enjoyed the freshly squeezed juices at breakfast! But what really makes this place truly special is the staff. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and nice. We couldn’t finish this review without mentioning our GEM - Ahsan! He truly made our experience incredible! He was so thoughtful and not only celebrated our honeymoon, but both of our birthdays as well when he didn’t have to. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best trip possible! Not only was he the best GEM to have, he was like a best friend to have the whole week! Overall this has been the best vacation we have ever had! Would 100% recommend this resort to anyone! We hope to return again in the future!

- 159joeyk (10/5): Paradise on Earth - This trip was nothing short of amazing! From the minute we arrived at the airport we realized we weren’t going to lift a finger from there on out. You can tell that SO Maldives really prides themselves on guest experience! Every person we encountered was warm and welcoming and went out of their way to do anything to elevate your experience. After a lot of travel, it’s nice that the resort is so close to the airport so you can get right to your vacation. Just a quick 15 min boat ride from the airport! The villas are gorgeous and equipped with everything you need! The beds are comfortable and the room can get very dark with the blackout blinds which we love because we like it dark when we sleep. They also had plugs that worked for American electronics which was very handy so you didn’t need an adapter. The pool was lovely and temperature felt great! Would highly recommend doing the all inclusive option if you like to eat and drink. They also include restocking of your mini bar in your villa if you do this option. We had semi low expectations of food and drink given it was an all inclusive resort but we were pleasantly surprised how delicious all the food was! 9/10 consistently! Seafood was the best. Super fresh and well prepared! They even had gluten free options 🖤 We would highly recommend the sunset fishing trip! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Captain and his crew were awesome! Caught plenty of fish and was able to eat it the next day. Some of the best fish preparations we’ve ever had! The gym was an unexpected little gem! Well equipped. Cold water and towels and the view!!! If we had that back home we may work out more 🤣 The spa was unbelievable. Had one of the most amazing massages of our lives! Definitely recommend! Can’t end this review without highlighting the best part of our trip…the people! Like I said before, every single person at S/O Maldives was awesome. So warm and welcoming! Shifaz who cleaned our villa was so cheerful and kind! Bryan and Narhyan at the pool bar/restaurant took such good care of us and made amazing mimosas! Ahki and Abdullah were our superstar drivers that we loved getting to know and had great conversations with everyday! And last but not least, our hero, SUE!! Our GEM (guest experience maker) was just that, a gem! 💎 We will never be able to think of the Maldives without thinking of Sue. She was our right hand lady. Anything we could think of or wanted to do, she made happen. The trip went from awesome to magical because of Sue. Thank you Sue! You will always have a place to visit in America!!! I love the free bicycles to ride around the albeit tiny island and the Guest Experience Manager was brilliant for communication. This resort is manmade and that is obvious but it’s been done incredibly thoughtfully and it is absolutely beautiful in every way.

- lisamE2054BO (10/5): Luxury, quiet, and exceptional service with ocean adventure in your backyard - I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this place is. Get ready for a novel. My two sisters and I came for a sisters vacation and this trip knocked all the rest out of the water. The best part of this resort? Definitely the people! We have never become so emotionally attached to people so quickly. Everyone is friendly and funny and the service is so above and beyond. Our GEM, aka guest experience manager, was Ahsan. We love him!!! Beyond being at our beck and call 24/7, he was patient with our craziness and made us feel like we were the most valued guests on the resort. Anything we needed, and he made it happen. Huthu, who helped coordinate our many excursions, is the sweetest, calmest presence. We wanted to see whale sharks, manta rays, sharks, dolphins, and sea turtles, and he made private excursions for us to see them all! Thank you to the entire Ocean team who made our excursions unforgettable: Ibrahim, Bilal, Nayeem, and Imdhadh. As soon as they heard of a sighting of something we wanted to see, they booked it there for us. The food was ridiculously good. We did half board since we don’t drink a lot, and by eating a late breakfast and early dinner, it was plenty for us. Hadaba served Arabic food different from anything we have ever tried, and super delicious. Highly recommend the truffle hummus and the lamb ribs. Citronelle had Asian fusion foods that were amazing. My favorites there are the massaman wagyu curry and the chocolate mousse. Chefs Mahmoud and Robbie are not only culinary geniuses, but the absolute sweetest. Multiple times they accommodated special requests, came out to speak with us personally, and made specific recommendations. Even though the menus don’t change, we didn’t get bored of the food at all. Best resort food we have ever had because they don’t shy away from their flavors. Even the servers went the extra mile, remembering what we liked and where we liked to sit and listening to stories from our day. Thank you Luna!!! We had an over water bungalow with a view so indescribable we felt we woke up in heaven every day. The lagoon outside the villa is shallow and periodically we would see rays, large fish, squid, even sharks come by. However, if you want to see a lot of fish, coral, and large sea creatures, you will be better served booking excursions. The room itself is so luxurious and we appreciated that the resort tries to be as eco conscious as possible. Close to the airport, which is a plus, and we were so thankful for our room stylists Naaji, Shifaz, and Rimon for always leaving our rooms flawless and leaving beautiful hand crafted art on our beds for that extra special touch. The island is small, but we were provided with bikes to get around independently, which was a cute vibe. Anytime we didn’t feel like walking or biking, we could ask Ahsan for a buggy to pick us up and take us where we wanted to go. Luke was our most frequent driver and somehow kept up with our excited banter. We didn’t realize until our last couple days that we had been chitchatting with the general manager of the resort and his wife the last week. They were just roaming and chatting unobtrusively with guests to make sure we had a great experience, so you can tell that they really care and still continue to make changes and improvements. Overall, best resort experience we have ever had, and we are well-traveled. If you’re looking for a less crowded/quiet resort where you are treated like family and royalty at the same time, that still has all the options for adventure, this is the place for you.

From the beautiful over the water Lagoon Villa, to the beach club, to the restaurants and the amazing staff. We have adored every moment being here. The fact it was a short 20 minute boat journey from Male International airport was so amazing. We were off the plane and directed to paradise right away. Our first impression coming into the honeymoon, people told us there might not be too much to do - however we were pleasantly surprised at how many excursions, water sports, creative activities and amenities their were to choose from. Sue our personal butler/assistant, felt more like a friend checking in on us everyday and helping wherever she could. Sue was unbelievable in her attentiveness, her promptness and overall warmth she showed us upon arrival. She made us feel like VIP’s on our honeymoon. The organising of a surprise cake, was just the cherry on top for the type of service she provided. To Our amazing Waitstaff, especially LUNA!! Jaye and Massi. We felt so warmly welcomed every morning and evening for meals. They were very friendly, shared personal stories with each other, shared fantastic recommendations on food/drink, made us feel like family and people we could meet outside of the resort. This resort truly feels like a slice of paradise and allowed us to do a full reset and really enjoy a beautiful honeymoon together. We cannot thank the staff enough for everything they have done and we cannot recommend staying at this resort enough. Abdulqadir and all the staff were so amazing (Ayenora, Luna, Irfan, Jai and everyone else!) Clean rooms, amazing spa, the overwater villa size is just right and all the facilities were top notch. All our requests were well accommodated. the food was great and well varied considering the small size of the Island.

Ana took the time to explain everything that was included in our package and about the resort, island, and more. We placed many last minute requests and changes, and she was able to accommodate it all and with a smile each time. The resort itself is amazing. From the food, staff, and hospitality, everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The Manager Shahid , Arshad our one Point contact while our stay at the Hotel & Ammi the staff who took care of us on the date of departure all of them were very Friendly,Helpful & Professional. Would highly recommend everyone to stay at SO Maldives and the staff will make sure you have a memorable trip. - stephenhuckstep (10/5): An amazing surprise for near to Male. - A wonderful few days at SO/ Maldives. A new resort only 15 minutes max by speedboat from Male. Absolutely brilliant. Crystal clear water with a wonderful swim right from your water villa. Sandy, safe and gorgeous swim Food is amazing, we were so well looked after by the catering team. Our GEM was Ana and she is so lovely. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she deals with all your requests with such efficiency. She is such an asset to the organisation. A wonderful dolphin trip, a super snorkelling trip. Wine tasting by Huzaifa, the sommelier, was the best wine tasting we have experienced, very knowledgeable. A great resort that you might not expect so near to Male. It's only a few minutes away by speedboat but you are on your own tropical island. Well worth a visit.

Our overwater villa with an infinity pool was very luxurious and, in our opinion, very underrated. The villa featured bespoke design and very high-end interiors that made our stay truly special. Sue, the guest experience manager, was outstanding throughout our stay. She always followed up with us, helped make our reservations, and genuinely cared about how we were doing. Sue went above and beyond to help my wife arrange a special birthday celebration for me. She organized a cake and a celebration dinner at Hadahaa restaurant with “Happy Birthday” written on the table. It was a wonderful surprise and made my birthday very special. The housekeeping service was very good. They cleaned our room twice a day without disturbing us, which we really appreciated. Pasa, our yoga trainer, was wonderful. We did yoga with her for three days facing the sea. She trained us very well and made the sessions enjoyable. The staff at Citronelle Cafe were very friendly and provided excellent service. The food was very tasty. Special mention to Chef Shiva, who made delicious dosa and poori. His cooking was excellent. The atmosphere at the resort was very warm and welcoming. The staff and even other guests always wished us good morning. This friendly environment made our stay even more enjoyable.

The staff were all great, but a special mention to Vishan who was always on hand to help us book our dinner reservations, suggest ideas and experiences. Alongside him, we must say Luna was wonderful with her welcoming smile and attentive nature, alongside Brayan (always smiling) at lunchtimes and then in the evenings Massie (so sorry if I spelt his name wrong!) always taking time to speak to us, with interesting stories and even making some lovely gifts with leaves for our daughter! The spa area was also amazing, and treatments blissful in a wonderful setting! A truly memorable stay - a dream holiday made possible by the beautiful location, amazing hotel facilities, but especially by the fantastic staff!

There are champagne, fruit and Dim sum for check-in, which is very considerate. The daily activities in the hotel are very interesting, and I have experienced almost everything. Even without jumping on the island, I had a very fulfilling time. Blue sky, white clouds, sunshine, sandy beaches, clear sea, natural green plants, air, cute aquatic animals, everything is beautiful and relaxing. At first, I was worried that Chinese people might not get used to eating abroad, but every restaurant in the hotel was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. Coincidentally, I happened to come across the monthly menu change and was very lucky to indulge myself. The most important person to thank for this trip is Sue. She served us throughout the entire journey, did her best, and was able to quickly respond to our requests for help, making us feel at ease. Sue is really reliable and nice, and this trip can only proceed smoothly and successfully with her company. Thank you, Sue!

The yoga class in the morning is a great way to start your day. The spa treatment was so relaxing and the perfect way to end our fabulous week here at the resort. The food was incredible. A trip to the Maldives must include some diving or snorkelling, and the manta rays did not disappoint. They were so beautiful and the colourful fish . It is truly a magical place to come for a holiday.

From the resident island of Mahfuushi back to the airport, there were hotel staff to receive us upon landing and help us carry our luggage to the hotel's exclusive pier. They were very enthusiastic, and the speedboat service staff were also very friendly. It only took 15 minutes to reach the island by speedboat. The hotel staff warmly welcomed us at the pier and offered us ice towels and welcome drinks. Sue was our villa butler, who warmly welcomed us, carefully helped us check in, and personally drove us to the villa. She introduced every detail of the resort in great detail and explained the facilities in the villa in detail. She patiently answered every question we had. The resort's environment and facilities: The hotel is located on a blue lagoon, with modernly designed water villas. Just step out the door and you'll be greeted by the jelly-like sea. The private swimming pool and net bed are perfect for taking photos. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a large bathtub that's a favorite for taking photos. The minibar is well-stocked with drinks, and there's unlimited drinking water every day. Welcome fruits, complimentary champagne, and a cake from Snowflake are provided. Sue was particularly attentive in arranging everything. The hotel's public area swimming pool and the sunset on the beach are a perfect match. - Relax12653481706 (10/5): A Perfect Getaway - We had a lovely time at SO/Maldives. Everyone at the resort went above and beyond to give guests an unforgettable experience. The service staff were just wonderful, highly articulate, and very respectful. The food at resort was so delicious. We especially love Sous Chef Mahmoud’s , from Hadaba restaurant, the Lamb Ribs with Pomegranate sauce. The ribs were crispy outside while juicy inside. The tangy and fruity of the pomegranate sauce added a kick to the ribs. We were there to celebrate our 28th anniversary. On the day, we got a surprise in our room. A beautiful word art made out of coconut leaves and a delicious chocolate mousse cake. Strongly recommend this fantastic place to anyone looking for tranquility, luxury and exceptional service. Look forward to the next time! Oh by the way, lots of thanks to Sue, our GEM, for taking care of every need we had at the resort and made us feel so special through out our stays.

Every meal served was of exceptional quality, truly fine dining every time. I also loved that the in-room amenities were from Codage, which added such a luxurious touch. From the facilities and service to the friendliness, accessibility, and overall environment, everything was just perfect.

The villa was beautiful, spacious, and had a huge pool with a stunning view even better than the photos! The food was excellent, especially at Hadaba, and service was quick and attentive throughout our stay. A big thank you to Sue, our Guest Experience Maker, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was so friendly and even helped us with a late checkout, which made our short stay extra comfortable. Overall, a perfect mix of great food, relaxing vibes, and wonderful service.
