• Richard (5/5): Sorry, there was somewhat disappointment in the unit as a whole for the price. - Location was fine. Unit lacked in certain aspects of the unit: the outside deck had not been swept and A grill cover was off. it was unusual that in the main living room there was. no coffee table in front of couch which was awkward. The unit had one bath with tub and shower located downstairs next to the kitchen, therefor any member who needed to shower had to come downstairs past the living room , past the kitchen which can make that uncomfortable to use that facility, there was only a half restroom with no shower or tub upstairs. the unit overall a disappointment and very overpriced for what it is regardless of the time of year of the stay. I will say on a positive note that my interactions and communication with the Avanti staff was very good.
• Eric (8/5): Great cozy cabin - The cabin was very comfortable it was easy to use the amenities the couch is very comfortable rocking chair was nice and the carpet was nice and soft the thermostat worked great and was very easy to use the hardwood floors downstairs and the carpet upstairs were very clean Well I'd have to say the beds were pretty uncomfortable you can tell they were very low quality also It was very dusty my kids have allergies and it was noticeable from the mini blinds to the countertops you can tell that it needed to be thoroughly cleaned in that way I also didn't like that you had to drive far to dump out trash I thought it was very inconvenient and there should have been a lockable trash bin outside that's usable for tenants so all around I think it was very overpriced at over $500 a night

• LeiMomi (10/5): On Our Favorites List - We loved our stay at Bear’s Lair! The location was absolutely perfect—just a quick hop to the Village, yet the cabin still felt tucked away and private. The home was comfortable, cozy, and just the right size for our needs. It was exactly the kind of reset we needed from busy city life. The customer service deserves its own shout-out. Truly the best experience we’ve had with any Airbnb or Vrbo host. Every question was answered quickly, thoughtfully, and with all the info we needed before we even thought to ask. BONUS: Collecting giant pine cones made the stay even more memorable! 🤗. We would absolutely return! Big Bear is an easy drive from Las Vegas, and Bear’s Lair made the perfect getaway. Highly recommend! I have no negative or constructive criticism about the property or our experience.

• Robin (10/5): Perfect spring break stay - Great location, lovely facilities, picturesque surroundings Woodpeckers have made holes in the wooden cladding and are causing further damage to the property inner structure - didn’t really upset us or detract from our stay but I thought the owners should know!

• Christine (10/5): WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!! - This is such a cute cabin!!!! It’s all so aesthetically pleasing. It gives such mountain vibes. It’s literally so close to major stores like Vons, Stater Bros, and Walgreens. You also have Starbucks, Dollar Tree, and PetSmart! This cabin is totally adorable. It’s a whole house. 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath! A furnished kitchen!!! Trust me this is the best investment I’ve ever made. Pet friendly too!!! :D I will definitely be coming back!
