• Jordan (10/5): I felt very comfortable like I was at home and the views were incredible - the views were amazing, the food and drinks were exceptional and the bed was also very comfy, I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend I guess the only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't change the setting on the AC but overall the room was absolutely astonishing and this doesn't change the fact that it was the best hotel I've stayed at

• Prudence (9/5): Great mid century styled hotel in heart of the city. - The hotel is well styled, beds comfy and the bar and pool area has a good vibe. Well priced food and drinks. It’s a small thing, they have oodie style short sleeve bath robes - I prefer the traditional long sleeve style you wrap around. Food service in the bar was very slow. But the drinks were spot on!
• Tawadchai (6/5): Beautiful property, still a decent amount to improve on for the price - - aesthetic - beautiful rooms and facilities - central location - $1000+ for 2 nights and complained about the noise above on 3 seperate occasions. Nothing was done - Didnt replenish bottled water or robes (had to request robes) - when we arrived they only had enough towels, robe etc for 1 person in the room - If you rung reception / room service there was a 50:50 chance of them picking up - positioned as 5 star and think the staff / attention to detail isnt there just yet. One morning we went down and staff were bitching at reception and didnt acknowledge us

I would - I loved the ambience and staff, they were always so helpful and friendly. The only criticism or area of improvement I can mention are the beds, they are very firm which for us was not comfortable.

• Laura (8/5): Beautiful hotel, lovely relaxed vibe, great location. - Loved the interior design and decor. Very comfortable bed and room. Sometimes it was hard to find staff at the pool bar/restaurant. Would have liked a bath in the room. Breakfast had a cost limit.
• Adrian (10/5): Great hotel with great facilities. Attentive staff who are always welcoming. Restaurant is different as well serving Gre - Brand new fit-out. Decor is earthy and appealing. Entry area has lots of areas to chill and relax. Ground floor pool adds to the casual atmosphere. Outside street areas have a few homeless people. They keep to themselves but it’s a reminder that there are real struggles in life.

• Jessica (10/5): Stunning - will be back :) - Beautifully decorated hotel, very clean and we loved the high end appliances in the room (Dyson hairdryer & Philips steamer). We got to the hotel early and expected to store our luggage until we were able to check in but to our surprise, they had a room ready for us and it was a room on the 9th floor with a stunning view of the swan river (thank you to the lovely lady who checked us in!). The food at the pool bar was excellent and we enjoyed a drink on the terrace in the afternoon - highly recommended! Unfortunately the main restaurant was closed when we stayed (Sunday’s & Monday’s) so we couldn’t try it but no big deal, we will try it next time!
• Mary (10/5): Stunning hotel with great vibes, exceptional staff and customer service you only dream about! - This newly renovated hotel is a gem - primarily because the staff are first class! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and always eager to assist. We had a minor issue with our fridge, and the staff went above and beyond, offering us an upgrade and bending over backwards to assist. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was first-rate. Loved the onesie and slippers in the room, and the 9th-floor suite was stunning. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Will definitely be back! Nothing not to love.

• sarah (10/5): Stylish new hotel in a great location. - The location is great, the hotel is comfortable and stylish. Pier Street is very close to the Murray and Hay Street malls, Northbridge and the river which makes it an ideal base for shopping and eating out. The pool and the gym in this hotel as well as the general appearance of the bar and the fact that it is all new made it a very appealing location. I really appreciated the decor and the cleanliness of the room that I was in and it's great view. The staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. The only thing I did not like was that despite paying in advance I was then expected to pay $200 a night security fee for every night I stayed. Although I know that I get this money back, as a requirement it ends up penalizing you the longer that you stay.

• Janmare (8/5): Amazing stay at the new Hyde Hotel. Stylish, comfortable and clean - It was a beautiful, clean and lovely spot. Staff were friendly, well presented and helpful. Everything was beautiful, the decor amazing and the room comfortable. The pool area and terrace was also beautiful and lovely to spend time at. We had to wait extra long for drinks and breakfast.
