- Archer (10/5): A lovely stay, thank you. - It was a lovely, quiet location. Our host, Laurent, was very welcoming and despite the language barrier (thank you Google translate!) we felt very relaxed there. The bed was very comfy and breakfast was wonderful. We were extremely tired after a fraught holiday and long drive, so we really only went to sleep and then had breakfast before setting off again. Laurent has provided everything you could possibly need for a lovely overnight stay. It's a very small thing but the toilet was downstairs, with no hand basin, so had to then go upstairs to wash our hands. There is hand sanitiser in the toilet room. Maybe it's more usual in French homes, but it was a bit alien to us - plus we're more used to having an en suite. This shouldn't detract from the lovely experience that you will have as a guest.

- Geraldine (9/5): I thoroughly recommend Les Mesanges as a stop over and Laurent as a friendly helpful host. - Laurent has gone to a lot of effort to provide everything ( and more) needed for a comfortable stay. Tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom and the entire upstairs to ourselves. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and bright and we had an excellent breakfast. There is only one small thing…. The accommodation is upstairs along with a lovely bathroom but the toilet is downstairs ( still private)

The host prepared the table with fresh croissants, baguettes and home made jams of various flavours. Also fresh coffee and orange juice. The host does not speak English very well, but we still found a way to communicate via google translate. A great stay, would recommend.
