- Elga (5/5): Cocina Decepcionante - ME GUSTÓ MUCHO LA PISCINA Y LA ATENCIÓN FUE CORDIAL. NO TIENE COCINA COMPARTIDA COMO OFRECE EN LA PUBLICIDAD. Sólo tienen un disco de inducción un sarten y una ollita; obviamente esto no es suficiente para 8 o 10 cabinas. No tienen lo indispensable en una cocina y mucho menos para compartir. El desayuno es sumamente caro ( más de 6mil) Aparte cobran por usar el horno, la parrilla, el congelador etc

The location is great as it backs onto the beach & it has a pool, awesome garden & just a lovely chilled out vibe. Laure & her partner (who was a top chef!) we’re friendly & informative & made our stay easy. Totally recommend 🤩 Room was a tiny bit noisy but nothing we couldn’t sleep through.

- Woody (8/5): It was a beautiful, restful place to spend the night on our way to Monte Verde. - Our room was satisfactory, but a little small. However, the property was so lovely, with all the tropical vegetation, and the pool was a joy to jump into after a rather hot drive from the airport. Fabrio, the host, was very kind, fixed us a great breakfast the morning we left.

Die Umgebung war vermüllt. Das Zimmer war extrem hellhörig. Die Dusche mit einer elektrischen Wärmeeinheit im Duschkopf sah nicht vertrauenserweckend aus.

We were charged 10 US $ each for early check-in....to find out we were in a room next to reception....at 10.30 pm we had to tell the staff to stop talking so we could sleep....the bed had a plastic cover so every time you moved the noise will wake you up....at 6.00 am same story lots of noise....we were thinking about staying one more night but we obviously changed our mind....

- Dr. Klaus (9/5): Sehr schönes lässiges Resort. - Sehr schöne ruhige Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Sehr entspannte und freundliche Atmosphäre. Alles sehr unkompliziert. Was wir super fanden, extra fürs Abendessen kam ein Koch und hat super lecker gekocht. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und reichhaltig. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Eigentlich nichts. Was man wissen sollte, der Strand ist sehr steil und hat gefährliche Strömungen.

- Monica (9/5): Un pequeño paraíso para descansar. - El lugar estaba muy limpio y bien cuidado. Tienen bastantes espacios interiores y exteriores para estar en grupo. Que tengan disponible una cocina para los huéspedes esta genial. El personal es súper amable, llegamos más temprano sin aviso previo y nos atendieron de la mejor forma posible. Lo disfrutamos mucho. No quedó claro cómo pedir el desayuno.

- Manuel (6/5): Ausreichend. - Waren nur auf der Durchreise für eine Nacht, daher definitiv für unsere Zwecke ausreichend. Strand ist sehr nah, aber baden nur bedingt aus unserer Sicht möglich. Besitzer war nett. Frühstück leider keine Angabe möglich. Preis-Leistung passt im Großen und Ganzen. Sauberkeit war gut. Kleiner Tierchen, wie z.B. Echsen, Ameisen, etc. sind einfach normal in Costa Rica. Zimmergröße ist zu dritt doch eng, aber machbar. Defekte Klingel am Tor, was den Zutritt nicht einfach macht. Es gibt einen Code per Nachricht, welcher aber ohne Internet nicht erhalten werden kann.. Verbesserungswürdig. Der Spülkasten bei der Toilette wurde nach dem zweiten Mal spülen durch ein Säuberungstab verstopft. Haben das Problem durch unseren Hobbyhandwerker zwar selbst gelöst, aber auch hier Verbesserung möglich.

Hodně jsme využívaly bazén. Dělají výborné snídaně. Hodně jsme využívaly krásný bazén, protože místní pláž nám úplně nesedla.
- Ylva (8/5): - Mysigt med poolen och hängmattor. Lätt att komma i kontakt med andra gäster. Vackra solnedgångar vid stranden. Stranden var inte så bra. Höga vågor med starka strömmar. Man var oftast helt ensam (vilket i och för sig kan vara ett plus) men som ensamresenär vågade jag inte bada av rädsla för att dras med av någon våg. Jag var inte så förtjust i de lakan som användes, de kändes plastiga och var märkta med "microfiber" eller liknande. Den sortens tyg funkar inte så bra i värmen, så alternativet blir att ha på AC:n under natten, vilket jag vill undvika, dels av miljöskäl, dels för att man har svårare för att vänja sig vid värmen om man växlar mellan värmen ute och kylan inne hela tiden.

The pool area was nice and despite the owner's wife telling us no restaurant in walking distance- there is indeed a lovely restaurant that the manager told us about within a few minutes walk The position is poor - overlooking a lorry park with building work either all night or starting early. The room was supposed to have a sea view but this was stretching it over the lorry park. The beach was awful and full of rubbish and the area outside the hotel was not inviting

- Huckman (3/5): Think twice - The pool was nice. The room was tiny with no t.v. The bed was not comfortable, and seemed like it was wrapped in plastic or something? Very underwhelming. Not worth the money. The coffee in the morning was watered down and not good. How do you screw up coffee in Costa Rica? There were 2 refrigeraters on site. One had beer in it that they were selling. It was warm.I asked for a beer out of the other refrigerator and it wa also warm. The host said that the refrigerator wasnt working well. That was the one that they also had mik, juice and eggs in for breakfast. Needless to say, we didn't eat breakfast there. I never give bad reviews. Ever. But this place was.not worth the price at all.

Het hotel staat goed beveiligd achter een hek vol prikkeldraad aan een wat dubieuze straat. Hel.lelijkste stukje Costa Rica wat ik heb gezien..De.kamer is een klein hok (wel.met een fijne badkamer) en alles staat te wiebelen.

- Fernando (2/5): C'est sûr, on n'y retournera pas. - Rien ! La veille de votre arrivée, on vous contacte pour effectuer le paiement de la chambre sinon on vous menace d'annuler votre réservation. D'où un tas de palabres comme si on n'avait que ça à faire pendant ses vacances !!! Vu les GRANDES DIFFICULTÉS au niveau des paiements au Costa Rica, c'est un peu malvenu d'agir de la sorte. Pire : quand vous arrivez à l'hôtel on vous donne un lien pour le paiement, lien où des frais supplémentaires sont ajoutés. Comme tout le monde n'a pas l'application pour procéder de la sorte, il n'y a d'autre solution que de payer en cash. Donc, faites bien attention d'avoir suffisamment de liquide sur vous pour payer votre nuitée. L'hôtel est hyper vieillot. Les chambres sont on ne peut plus basiques. La salle de bain relève plus du bricolage... La literie -> no comment !!! Si vous souhaitez un petit déjeuner, c'est en supplément. Nous ne l'avons donc pas pris. Le prix de la chambre était 2x supérieur à celui que nous aurions payé en arrivant à l'improviste...!!! Bref, hôtel que je ne recommande pas pour toutes les raisons énoncées ci-avant.
- cla (9/5): Mixed feelings. - The staff were super friendly and helpful . They really went out of their way . The place was super clean and quite relaxing. Breakfast was great served with a smile every day. I really want to thank the staff from Costa Rica for my happy time there. I would recommend Janes Beech Resort the sunrisers and sunsets are spectacular. Beautiful long beech lovely warm water . I fished from shore most days didn't catch a monster. - Jose Andres (10/5): Best place to stay at near Caldera - The location was great, with a beach entrance that we really liked. Breakfast was very good, along with the many amenities the place has, including a very nice terrace to see the sunrise and sunset. Appreciated the private parking space, along with the great service by everyone. Will definitely be back when staying near Caldera. Only very small detail is that if you eat a lot, the breakfast might not make you full.

- Simon (9/5): Een heerlijk rustpunt tijdens onze reis omringd door vriendelijke fijne mensen. - De grote gastvrijheid van het beheerderspaar en de locatie van Jane's Beach Resort. Wij voelden ons direct thuis door de hartelijkheid en de hulp van de beheerders en het overige personeel. Zo werden voor ons excursies geregeld en onze kleren gewassen en gedroogd. De bedden, douche, buitenkeuken en wifi waren goed en het onbijt was heerlijk. Daarnaast beschikt het beach resort over een heerlijk zwembad en een grote tuin met veel verschillende vogels, eekhoorns en leguanen. Bovendien grenst deze tuin aan het strand. Naast de mogelijkheid om in de zee te zwemmen vliegen hier eveneens veel vogelsoorten voorbij zoals visarenden, pelikanen, fregatvogels, caracara's, papegaaien en geelvleugelara's. Ook is het resort ideaal om te gebruiken als uitvalsbasis voor het bezoeken van o.a. mangrovebossen, Nationaal Park Carara en Tortuga Island. Niets
- Heather (9/5): Very good and great value - Laurie! She is wonderful and very caring about ensuring you have a good stay. The rooms and pool area are clean. Very good value for the rate. The pool was nice after a day of exploring. We stayed the first time for 4 days to explore the area and then came back 2 weeks later for just 1 night to catch the ferry. We had a car to get into Puntarenas but I understand there is a frequent bus as well. Not a lot of restaurants in the area but Laurie’s breakfast is very good. Our first stay…mosquitoes but they can’t help that. I would also say the rooms are not soundproof so bring earplugs if light sleeper. We are finding most hotels in Costa Rica are not soundproof. Location is a little isolated but easy if you have a car or comfortable with the bus.

The pool was wonderful, breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Menší pokoj a bohužel bez zvukové izolace. Měli jsme večer pocit, že sousedi nahoře spadnou k nám do pokoje :-)) Pokoj potřebuje závěsy. Ale zase cena je velmi přátelská.....

Great artwork and quiet peaceful pool amd hammocks The area around the resort is quite run down many properties are empty. Worth catching a a bus to puntarenes for more night life

- Monserrat (10/5): Perfect pet lover hotel, right at the beach front! - Laurie is super friendly and helpful! The hotel is very nice, well kept and clean, and the best part are the friendly sweet dogs ! They are sooo sweet and will go play catch with you to the beach, so this is a top spot for animal lovers!

- Natalia (10/5): - No hay palabras para explicar lo espectacular y tranquilo que es este lugar todos son muy amables y atentos , se siente como en casa y volvería mil veces la cama y las almohadas super cómodas, todo súper bien la piscina genial y muy limpia, todas las areas limpias , nos recibieron antes del check in los perritos súper lindos , cerca del centro y de supermercados, superó todas mis expectativas, me quedé un día más de lo bien que la pasamos

The hosts are beautifu kind people, hospitality top tier 💯💯💯💯 breakfast delicious and well served. The booking price is unbelievable cheap. I would recommend this hotel over soulless hotels like the Fiesta Everything was amazing honestly.
