Guest Reviews
- Paull (10/5): Great for our long weekend with friends. Walk to town and restaurants aplenty - Very spacious, clean and in a great location where you could walk everywhere
- BigPhilYonnie (10/5): - Excellent help from staff. Great location. We wanted to leave a couple of days early for personal reasons but no reduction in price. Sort of fair enough but.... Be careful
- Ryan (8/5): - Having to collect keys from a different location with limited parking
- William (10/5): - Close to the city
- Inderjit (10/5): -
- DebraMGreen (10/5): Great Bradden apartment, stop looking and book - The space, location, comfort, parking, views, everything!
The beds were so comfy, great eaay walk to the City and great places to eat
The views, great Nespresso coffee machine, good showers
Desk for working was a bonus too No seating around the pool but that might change in the height of summer

- MARY (10/5): Great family time. Beautiful views and cities - Everything! Hard to access entry
- David (6/5): If these failings were corrected it would be a suitable location for the AAT. It’s not walking distance to the CBD. - The location suited us at the time of booking as it was close to where we needed to be. It is not quite walking distance to the CBD but walking distance to many restaurants. It was difficult picking up the key from an off site location. We were two couples (parents and married son) but were only given one set of door keys and one swipe card. When I rang the second provider for another key (the shop where we collected the key was not answering) we were told it would cost $50. But no extra swipe card which meant you couldn’t access the foyer, lift or car park. So another key would not be of use.
Although this booking was done through booking.com it was, in fact, a second provider we had to deal with. Problems found were:
The light in the kitchen needed replacing as it went on and off independently
The main bedroom lacked a cover for the air conditioner
The stove didn’t have markings on the oven knobs so it was impossible to use
The second smaller bedroom had a large double bed but it was surrounded by a wood frame which attacked shins every time you moved around the bedroom.
I wrote to the second provider about all these failings but did not hear they would be addressed.
- Lixin (10/5): Excellent place, very enjoyable. - Everything except air conditioner Air conditioner
- Dominique (8/5): Great location - Great location, in the middle of some excellent restaurants, and a short walk to collect groceries as well. Being so central in Canberra, it was a short drive to the main city attractions.
The apartment itself was tidy and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances etc. The main bedroom and bathrooms were spacious. There were several things that could have been better and would have been good to know before we stayed.
The checkin process was easy but super inconvenient. To collect keys, you had to drive to a different property, 2kms away. This should have been made clear on booking as I didn’t have transport. Luckily I was staying with family with a car. If you don’t have transport, this might not be the apartment for you. Checking out requires dropping the keys back at this separate address.
There was only one key provided for the apartment. Given there are two bedrooms, two keys would have been better. We made it work but it was inconvenient.
The second (smaller) bedroom had no heating and an external door that blew cold, Canberra air directly into the room through cracks around it. There was a tiny heater in one of the cupboards but we weren’t sure whether it was reliable. Regardless, the tiny heater didn’t combat the winter air blowing through the cracks in the door. The rest of the apartment was toasty warm but the second bedroom was very uncomfortable and cold.
The oven settings weren’t labelled well (ie it wasn’t clear what the grill/oven was). Not a big deal but our burnt dinner one night was unfortunate.
While our stay was really good, I wasn’t prepared to give the 10 star rating which the property managers requested given there were things which affected our enjoyment of the property.
