Guest Reviews
- Aicha (9/5): Great manager, nice property. - The property manager was great. Nice property overall.
- Marquasia (10/5): i booked this for a surprise party for my mom and i decorated and cooked etc it was a nice space very clean and quiet lo - spacious only thing was the beds were really low but they were comfortable
- Julene (8/5): A Wedding in Seaford - The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We stayed in the area to attend a wedding and there was an iron at the house, but no ironing board. The hosts had a new ironing board delivered to us!! The cleaning staff could be more thorough. Some of the outdoor furniture is broken or is in poor condition and should be replaced for safety.
The beds are comfortable but very low to the floor. It could be challenging for older adults.
- Kim (7/5): Nice but could have been awesome with some general maintenance. - We are from the area and like the convince to family.
Love being in our own little water front area. House impresses when you first walk in.
Rooms are large. We are originally from the Bridgeville and Ellendale areas. We chose this house because it was close to family and we would be have to have them over to visit is. However, there where some concerns. The driveway needs to be better marked so traffic knows you are turning into a hidden driveway and try the traffic light. The floors are filthy, some windows do not lock, and pot and pans are not useable. Beds are almost on the floor. This house does impress when you first walk in but it quickly goes down hill. I have pictures and hopefully there is a place to share them. I do have safety concerns with the light on at the front door hanging by wires; this could cause a fire. I know you said you had to fire the maid and rush to find someone (two people as you told me) to come clean the house however the lack of cleaning seems to be an ongoing issue. The kayak and little boat both have small holes in them. The gaming room as you call the garage although we had fun in it we were also very cautious because some of the items have been highly abused. Example the foosball table is falling apart. There is also a lot of trash all over the outside of the property and not from the highway either.
Tie in the tree and a white tank top (also known as a wife beater) in another tree and general trash everywhere.
I hope that you will address these concerns because we very much like where the property sits. The Flag Ship Restaurant as a nice place back in the day and it was fun to remember those time.
- Keith (9/5): Superb - Great location for fishing. It was peaceful even though it was by the highway.
- Mrs.carr (9/5): Superb - It was clean and quiet it was nice There was some stuff broken before we got here
- Cynthia (10/5): Exceptional - The house was beautiful and so was the location on the lake. I liked that it was close to stores and restaurants The bed in the master suite was a little uncomfortable
