Internetul nu era funcțional, mobilierul era degradat, prizele ieșite din perete, lipsa becurilor pe hol și dormitor, din 2 aere condiționate nu funcționa nici unul etc. Pozele vorbesc de la sine. Nu recomand nimănui acest apartament.

Отдельно хочу отметить Kingsley, этот парень самое хорошое, что с нами было в этом отеле, он очень круто и сильно помогал нам, содержал все в чистоте, большой молодец. К сожалению, по приезду мы увидели, что в нашем номере был сломан стол, дверная ручка в душ тоже. Если бы при заезде работала дверь, и стол, мы бы поставили 5 баллов.

Вызвали полицию, только после этого вернули деньги. Не ходите туда

• Serife (1/5): Fazit: Die Darstellung auf Booking ist irreführend. Die Unterkunft war für uns und unsere Kinder unzumutbar. Wir empfehl - Die Lage ist super und das Personal ist sehr nett. Wir haben diese Unterkunft über Booking gebucht, weil die Bilder einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck vermittelten. Die Realität vor Ort war jedoch katastrophal und absolut unzumutbar, besonders mit zwei Kindern. Hier die gravierendsten Mängel: • Schimmel an den Wänden und sogar im Wasserkocher • Bettwäsche und Kissen stark verschmutzt und übelriechend • Herd und Waschmaschine defekt – einer der Hauptgründe für die Buchung war, Wäsche vor Ort waschen zu können • Toilette kaputt und unhygienisch • Lose Metallleisten an den Zimmereingängen → Verletzungsgefahr • Schlafcouch defekt, Kinder können nicht sicher schlafen • Überall Staub, Schmutz und klebrige Oberflächen • Warmwasser verstellt eigenständig die Temperatur → fast zu Verbrühung bei meinem Kind gekommen • Muffiger Geruch im gesamten Apartment • Mitarbeiter haben selbst zugegeben, dass hier lange nicht gereinigt wurde Wir haben umgehend den Mangel gemeldet. Statt einer Lösung wurde uns mitten in der Nacht ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, das ebenfalls sehr dreckig war. Danach sollten wir sogar wieder in das ursprüngliche, verschmutzte Zimmer zurückkehren, weil das Ersatz-Zimmer anderweitig vergeben wurde. Diese Unterkunft ist aus unserer Sicht nicht sicher, nicht sauber und absolut nicht kindgerecht.

• samir (8/5): - The help made us Kingston with our luggage to bring up to our room because no elevator The access with taxi was closed and this cause us a verry big pain of walking 15 minutes with luggage to go up in street of taksim it's was bad experience
• Zaffar (8/5): Great Value, Great Location - We were in a tricky situation with our original accommodation proving uninhabitable that evening. We found Mates Istiklal and called them and Yusuf the building manager helped us out immediately. He really is a superstar, assisting with whatever we needed immediately - I can't thank him enough for making it a pleasant stay. The accomodation itself is a solid 8/10. It's clean and comfortable enough but quite cramped. The location is great with lots of cool bars and restaurants nearby. For what we paid with the Booking discount, it was great value for money. If you struggle with climbing stairs I would not recommend it as there is no elevator. Overall we enjoyed our time at Mates and it was a memorable experience.

• Alessia (7/5): Great location (especially for night life), super available host, room is ok (don't expect fancy) - - The host was greatly available and also gave us some good tips. - The location is great as it is very near to restaurants, bars and also public transportation. - The price was really good as Istanbul is not that cheap in general. - We didn't understand from the photos that the room was quite "dated" and it gave the perception of not clean, but instead it was. - We were on the 3rd floor with a big suitcase to carry up and down (the host helped us on the way up with no problem), but I would suggest, if you're traveling in such a situation, to tell in advance and ask for a lower floor. - There was one evening where we had no water because of road works on the pipes, I would have probably liked to be told in advance as the host knew. However, when it came back (a few hours later) and we had issues with the boiler, the host was ready to help us in order to fix the problem (and it was late, again, thank you!).

There were only two rooms available: on the top and underground. Sadly i was with my old father and the top (4th of 5th floor) was not an option, since there is the lift and steps were a little bit tricky. Underground room isn't a great choice (noisy and more smell from the street). Also this room had some problem with WiFi (signal not good) and the water in the shower left not perfectly. It is, what it is! Again, the host tried to help us with everything 10/10. But i recommend the room on the top )).
• Soreya (6/5): Nice but pricey - The location of the residence, near Taksim. The staff is very nice and helpful, speaking many languages. we were supposed to rent a studio but it was just a bedroom. The stairs leading to it are dangerous. The price is expensive for the room's quality itself and the season.

• Muhammed (6/5): Location very good but service need improvement - Location is very good 10 minutes walk from Taksim Square where one can get everything- nice restaurants, banks, Metro station, shops and big supermarkets Hotel rooms need some improvement and it has no elevator so climbing top floors is a challenge. Also had 2 nights nights without water as there were water pipes were under repair in the neighborhood but hotel had no alternative means for us.

It was very comfortable, aircon available, kitchen, couches and living area, washing machine and fridge. Aymen was especially helpful during our stay and it would not have been as good without him! He kindly let us use the Istanbulkart left by other tourists and had a lot of advice for where to eat, how to get around, ordering taxi through accommodation and other small tips! Thank you very much Aymen for making our stay great! We are on the 5th floor but that was actually great because we didn't hear the noise of the lively area at all during the evening

The room was clean, and the host was very friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. The price was also much better than similar accommodations in the area. The room was very small, so we could hardly fit our two big suitcases. The property has steep, narrow stairs. The wifi kept getting disconnected.

An unpleasant moment occurred during check-in; we were put in a room that was clearly smaller than the one we had booked. To the owner's credit, this problem was resolved. I hope this is some kind of accident. Otherwise, I can recommend this hotel.
• Annunziata (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment a conveniently near the central metro station Taksim Square and the famous Istiklal Street. The apartment is clean and the shower was amazing, and the bed was comfortable, it had a washer machine and a fridge and iron board and kettle. The owner of apartment was very helpful and it was a safe neighbourhood. The apartment required everything I needed.

The hotel room had a balcony and a quaint view of the tightly knit side street. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchenette had everything I needed. Washing machine and drying rack was also included and helped for my longer stay. The staff were excellent and responsive, above and beyond. I’d stay here again. Church across the road, so the bell tolls loudly.

The kitchen was barely equipped, one of the beds was made with two sofas which was not the most comfortable and I needed to deconstruct it every morning to make space for us to sit and eat breakfast

• Rustom (6/5): Reasonable place, passable to spend a night. - This place is reasonably okay, it has a good location. The best thing is the manager who is very courteous and makes effort to solve issues. The owner of the place does not seem to care much about pleasing customers. After quite a tough night with quite a few issues ( that the manager kindly did resolve) one would have thought the owner would be keen to retain a new customer but he was very inflexible about his prices. I respect his wishes, but under the circumstances I would not stay there again.

My room had a lovely view of a beautiful cathedral with exquisite stain glass windows.
