- Kate De Marco (9/5): Great location - The location was brilliant, easy access to all the tourist locations. The apartment was very spacious with a superb large balcony. Easy access, super quiet. Great stay Unaware shower was over bath and I was travelling with someone who has mobility issues so accessing the shower was problematic. Also no bathmats so we gad to use a spare towel. Loved the fact the apartment had an iron but there was no ironing board.
- Lailani (9/5): City Slickers - That it's walking distance to Darling Harbour, Chinatown, Shopping District ( Queen Victoria Arcade), Sealife etc. The carpet smells
- Erin (10/5): -
- Patrice (5/5): - Location and plenty of space Not very clean, dirty cutlery in d/w, grubby laundry at the door. Bedroom blinds cemetery INADEQUATE for a sleep in

- Sean (2/5): Bad service. - Great Property The management team. I would say it’s pretty common to have a spare key or key pad these days. We locked ourselves out the first morning, I believe the door auto bolts. It took several calls to both booking.com and the madecomfy team. I was told the local madecomfy team would reach out to me. Though they had not after several hours. It wasn’t until I went to their physical office that I spoke to someone local. They informed me that the previous guest had taken the keys so they didn’t have a spare. That implies someone else had keys and they didn’t change the lock which seems like a safety issue. The housekeeper was able to let me in after she finished her other job. They then wanted to charge me a fee for it. Property great, management brutal.
- Sophie (10/5): - The apartment was great - very clean and comfortable, with lots of space. We really enjoyed the patio and appreciated the in-apartment washing machine and dryer!
- Naomi (10/5): - Lovely big apartment, very close to Darling Harbour and light rail station. Property was clean and all instructions and communication were clear.

- David (8/5): Good would go again - Central to everything No ensuite outdoor area hasn’t been cleaned for months
- Trent (10/5): Fantastic location for a conference we were attending at the convention centre - Great location, amazing patio and all round spacious apartment Nothing at all
- Phythian (9/5): This is a spacious and clean property in an excellent location. - The location of this property is excellent. The property is spacious and clean. The chairs at the table were a bit rickety. The sofa bed was hard to sit on because the cushions were worn, but there were two other sofas.

- Stacey (8/5): Spacious inner city apartment - Size of balcony and living room was superb! Great for our little one to run and play without us tripping over him. Beds were comfy and decent sheets and towels and extra blankets were appreciated. Close to the river, convenience stores, Coles, Fish Markets, etc. Communication regarding my booking was via a third party site so a little cumbersome to login every time rather than via the Booking.com app.
- Fiorenza (10/5): - L’appartamento é molto grande e spazioso, molto pulito e accessoriato. Anche la terrazza all’esterno é perfetta per cene estive.
- Jay (9/5): Great location and very roomy Apartment - Fantastic Location and large apartment Outside terrace could be better looked after
- Troy (8/5): Thanks - The Location There was no Aircon in the rooms. Coming from Darwin, I didnt know this was not a normal thing in NSW. And the address said 16/33 which mean in normal life. it means Unit 16 at street number 33. which was not right. It should say Unit 33/ at stree nubmer 16.
- Michael (7/5): Good - Not enough instructions left for apartment
- Jacques (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glenda (6/5): Pleasant, lacks atmosphere needs some work done to it eg air conditioning in both bedrooms Exhayst fan in bathroom. Bloc - The location was fine 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants on the water. Lacked any warmth in its appeal, quite sterile looking.
Three couches, the table and chairs pushed up against the walls.
The balcony needed to be swept and possibly cleaned.
Lovely big pots on the balcony, however three of the pots were full of dead plants.
Cigarette butts in the ash tray and a butt in one of the dead pot plants.
Lovely water feature on the balcony no water in it. Would have added to some atmosphere if the water feature was in action.
We did not use the kitchen but it appeared to be fairly well equiped.
The bedrooms were way too light of a night time. Need some block out blinds or curtains.
No exhaust fan in the bathroom and no face washers provided.
I would not call it a chick apartment with roof top terrace more like apartment with large balcony that overlooks other surrounding apartments.
- Lilli (8/5): Great apartment for a weekend away. Close to everything we needed and a short walk into the CBD! - Location was brilliant! Apartment was spacious and perfect for our girls trip to Sydney! The lift was out of order for half of our trip unfortunately. When we collected the keys, we had no idea how to get into the building until someone advised us as they walked past! This is no fault to the apartment booking though, was just confusing
(and 4 flights of stairs hauling up suitcases sucked!!)
- Linda (9/5): Superb -
- Mal (7/5): Perhaps'Shabby chic' rather than 'Chic' but easy to forgive a few issues due to fabulous location! - The location was brilliant, just 10 mins walk for the Train or the Ferry (Pyrmont Bay/Darling Harbour), and 10-15 more for Barangaroo ferries or Market Street/Myer/DJones/Victoria Building, Paddys, Chinatown, etc. The all-over carpet was a bit grubby in places, and needed a good clean by the looks. There was no vacuum cleaner or mop/bucket. Two side lamps had blown bulbs and one had an eye-searing daylight LED way too bright and unpleasant. Would have been nice to have had a water jug with cold water in the fridge, and maybe a small milk carton to greet new arrivals. 4 coffee pods and three green and three black tea bags was a bit mean for 4 people staying 9 nights. No sheets or towels were changed over 10 days but there was a washing machine/dryer. The bedroom with two singles was small which left the one side table at the foot of one of the beds, the other bed had none. Two smaller tables could possibly solve this but an extension cord would be needed for 2 side lamps. Outdoor terrace had lots of dead plants and trees which needed throwing away and replanting, an hour's work would fix it nicely. The outside table needs some CLR and a good scrub to get rid of the unsightly limestone buildup from rainwater. Again, an hour could fix that.
- Dan (8/5): Very good - Great location, well appointed and comfortable apartment. Lovely balcony Heat pump needs to be serviced as it made a terrible rattling noise.
There were issues with the fire alarm in the building during the first night we contacted the booking company and they were helpful but additional follow up would have been appreciated considering the disruption it caused
- Hà (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (8/5): great value for money its a great place to chill in Sydney - very central big rooms great out door space all you need
- Denise (10/5): Enjoyed my stay but only 1 towel per person for 4 nights not good furniture needs updating - It was central It’s old carpet needs to be changed bad lighting and no AC
- Yeh (9/5): This is a very good accommodation environment. It is also very close to the pier and the city center. It is actually ver - The living room and kitchen are very large and very comfortable. The yard is big and nice, but there are so many ants ,that we can't really stay there.
- Melanie (8/5): Great location & the accommodation suited our requirements. - Instructions on how to collect the keys were clear. The numbers on the combination on the mailbox were very small - due to this it took a bit of time to find the correct combination code.
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Melanie (9/5): Superb - Position! The room was really good very comfortable and spacious No Parking!!!
- Keket (9/5): Preference of stay at Chic Unit was an excellent choice for us because of its convenience. - The location was so convenient to the short term purpose of our stay. There is nothing wrong with the unit as far as we are concerned. In fact, it was a fantastic apartment.
- Jesse (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (5/5): Lack of detail from host about access left us messing around with ID on day of entry. - Located on noisy street.
- Vanessa (10/5): The unit awesome and location was great. Would stay there again -
- Garry (9/5): Even though the room is starting to show some wear, it is a very good size at a great location - N/A
- Santee (8/5): Very good - Location and how big the lounge room was No exhaust fan in bathroom
- Cole (10/5): Exceptional - It was in a great location and had a great common room to hang out in. Really great facilities and provided all the essentials you'd expect at a hotel!
- Anonymous (4/5): disappointing - location it was unclean dust and balcony unusable cigarette butts everywhere
