Guest Reviews
- Ronaldo (5/5): - The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. The staff also won us over — they were courteous, apologetic, and attentive to our concerns, even when the issues were beyond their control. They deserve a raise. The hotel facilities are quite run-down and poorly maintained. There was water leaking from the ceiling, and the property appears to have issues with water supply as water is rationed. The room was also not properly cleaned, and we encountered cockroaches during our stay, which was very disappointing and unhygienic.
- Dexter (6/5): Just ok - The additional fee considering that i just arrived around 1pm i guess and the check in time is 2pm.. i n some hotel there no additional fee.

- Graziela (10/5): - Location is great. Good value for money. Parking space is scarce.
- Amelio (7/5): Pleasant. - No tv. Bathrooms not clean no mirrors.
Curtains not clean. Need bathroom floor to be clean, shower drain not working. They put floor pads so guess will not step on the he standing water
- Efren (8/5): nice staff place is homy - accessible parking
- Darryl (8/5): - It is located right next to the bus terminal.
- Pineda (8/5): -
- Annette (7/5): - Sehr einfache Ausstattung, super Lage, freundliche Mitarbeiter Es gibt keine Haken oder ähnliches zum Aufhängen von Kleidung.
- Norma (7/5): Very good location, just a minute walk to bus terminal - Excellent location though parking is a problem,. Nice Staff , clean restroom, nice kounge. Matress/bedfoam was covered with plastic that makes noise everytime you move and makes it soo hot . Toilet has too much perfume that gave me headache smelling it overnight because smell went all over the room even you close it.
- Nina Shane Palacpac (6/5): So Disapointed! - Its near to the bus station No aircon , no slipper & amenities for the price of a day !!
- Melita (8/5): - accessibility, staff, cleanliness, quiet from my room, when I look down the window there was a pile of broken pieces of wood. if they have use for it, maybe they could pile it neatly. if they have no use for it, those pieces of wood should be disposed because aside from being a fire hazard, it's unsightly.
- Angielyn (2/5): No available mirror in the room, no kitchen utensils, and free coffee but no mug. - Location No available mirror in the room, no kitchen utensils, and free coffee but no mug.
- Wilson (10/5): Very Nice and Affordable hotel to stay. - The hotel staff, cleanliness, coffee, accesibility from famous landmarks. None

- Manuel (1/5): Baden Powell- Worst Property in Baguio - Nothing! They are totally unhelpful! I paid in full for my supposed stay on August 17. Me and my family travelled 7 hours to their property and learned that the description they stated in bookong.com are all lies! Parking is limited to only 4 cars when they said no need for reservation.Tgey even gave away our room to someone else when I paid it in full and they were trying to put me in a downgraded room that has a common T&B. We ended up looking for a different place to stay for hours and when I asked for a refund they said that it would take forever (if I'm lucky) that they will give me a refund without fees.
- James Mark (10/5): Its a nice stay at Baden Powell Hostel. Near at SM. Very convenient place to stay. We will definitely visit again the Ho - All staff’s are approachable. Thanks to ma’am Sarah who helped us and walkthrough us to our room. She is so nice! None. All is good.

- Dennis (10/5): Perfect - Near the main location of rhe city Nothing
- OLIVIA (9/5): - Perfect location, nice staff
- Globetrotter118 (8/5): Clean, basic, friendly and central hotel. - It's my 2nd time here. Last time was about 30 years ago and this hotel is still here! Don't read the Google reviews, as the hotel is completely refurbished now, so it was actually better than expected. Nice, spacious and bright room with a large Window, all freshly painted, furnished with new cheap furniture (which is perfectly fine). Everything was spotlessly clean. Nice attached bathroom with a hot shower. Fan, a table and chairs in the room. Toiletries and toilet paper supplied. There's a really nice common sitting area, with free coffee, hot and cold water. Rooms are overpriced though, but it was overpriced 30 years ago as well. Prices for central rooms in Baguio is 2-3 times more than elsewhere. Excellent location right across from the bus station (unless your next stop is Sagada. Those buses leave from Dangwa station) The hotel is set back from the road a bit, so it wasn't noisy. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The WiFi is ok most of the time, but not always. Didn't like the plastic around the mattress.
Maybe it's just this time of the year, but it was a bit damp in the room. Wet clothes from walking in the rain doesn't dry up. Would have been nice with a heather or something.
And a warning for travellers:
.......do NOT come to Baguio if you are smoking. It's literally NOWHERE to hide in this busy city, and not a single designated smoking area. You need to go well outside the centre to have a chance. And you can't even buy fags here.
- Marterio (9/5): Good place! Really accommodating staff. We had a great stay - Good location. Near sm, bus terminals and other tourist spots.
- Rhoda (9/5): Superb - Good value
- Yoshikawa (4/5): Disappointing - The bathroom is not clean.
- Corinth (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mari (10/5): The location is perfect—right in the center of Baguio - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My stay at Baden Powell Hostel was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect—right in the center of Baguio, making it so easy to explore all the famous tourist spots nearby.
The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. They made sure my stay was comfortable and hassle-free.
Another huge plus was the unlimited free water and coffee! It was such a nice touch, especially in the chilly Baguio weather.
Overall, I highly recommend Baden Powell Hostel for budget-friendly yet cozy accommodation with excellent service. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip!

- Matija (3/5): Didn't stay; saw the room was not as advertised, booked another hotel. - Large window with an okay view. Overall rustic style and use of wood, very helpful staff. Room not as advertised.
Rank smell in bathroom.
Room too small for the large bed - luggage limitations for 2 people on longer trip.
No response from management on refund due to cancellation for false advertising.

- Clareelyn (4/5): Good location but needs lot of repairs and improvent in the property. - The property is good in location within the city. It should have been good to stay since its within the city proper. Host is good and accomodating. I booked for 4 rooms but the property gave us only 3 units. The rooms are ongoing renovations bathroom is leaking once you use the lavatory and take a bath the water on the floor is there. We have to borrow their mop but on the 1st day the cleaner did it for us. We ever borrow their broom because there is ongoing repair in the connecting room but the dust is in our room.No blow dryer and no tv..though its alright because we just literally slept. Parking is terrible since the location is within the bus stations area but it is as per the property a first come first serve basis but the police enforcers there are so rude and we are just asking for tha parking of the hotel they will get your drivers license and want to issue ticket for penalty. Good that i called the property and talked with the police.
- Mitzi (9/5): It was great, comfy, and cozy. - The location was great, near SM Baguio, session road and bus terminal. Just a reminder to use the provided slippers to minimize noise while walking.
