The athmosphere is beautiful with a waterbassin, only 7 rooms (very family feeling) and a rooftop that invites you to stay forever (: À clean, minimal and beautiful design and a spacious room makes this place one of the nicest riads I visited.

• Sebastiano (10/5): Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in einem schönen, ruhigen und zentral gelegenen Riad. - Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Riad, freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück und eine tolle Lage: zentral, vieles ist zu Fuß erreichbar, aber im Riad selbst trotzdem angenehm ruhig. Auch die Anreise war einfach, und ein Parkplatz ist in etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Eigentlich nichts – wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden.
• van der Hoek (10/5): Riad Jô and Spa is een sprookje uit 1001 nacht - De centrale ligging in de medina en toch de stilte van de riad. De vriendelijkheid en flexibiliteit van het personeel. De netheid en mooie inrichting. Het ontbijt zou iets afwisselender kunnen, door af en toe bv yoghurt en iets meer fruit te serveren. Verder was alles meer dan goed!

Gostei muito da tranquilidade do espaço que nos permitiu descansar fora da intensidade de Marraquexe. A cama é muito confortável e o pequeno almoço era variado e muito saboroso. Acho que a zona do terraço poderia esta mais bem decorada e as espreguiçadeiras deveriam ter almofadas, é apenas uma sugestão de melhoria. Sugiro também a existência de uma zona para guardar as malas no dia do checkout.

The staff were really friendly and helpful with any questions I had. Breakfast was traditional Moroccan which I really liked and everyday it was something different. I really recommend this place!

The location is first rate for exploring. The Riad is lovely, authentic and kept spotlessly clean by housekeeping. Lovely central water feature and added bonus of rooftop for breakfast and relaxing. Not applicable!

El Riad es precioso, abierto hace 2 meses, limpio, sencillo, pero estupendo, con azotea para desayunar, también fue un puntazo bañarnos en la piscinita, desayuno muy bueno y el personal también, amables, atentos , muy cooperadores, nos ayudaron de forma muy efectiva a contratar un transporte privado. Nos gustó muchísimo. Nada negativo para decir.

Le personnel est très attentif au besoin des clients et est vraiment disponible. Nous avons apprécié le calme du Riad et également de voir la préparation des petits déjeuner le matin. Notre chambre était vraiment très propre. Nous recommanderions de demander aux clients s'ils ont certaines allergies ou intolérances avant la préparation des petit-déjeuners.
• Megan (10/5): Excellent - Amazing riad!! So beautiful and clean. From the first night, I was directed to the riad and was given a lovely mint Moroccan tea and some pastries. The room itself was very clean, cosy and comfortable. Imane was so nice as well and she walked me to the nearest ATM on my first day, even though the riad is only a short walk to the main road. Location wise it is a bit out the centre, but I personally did not mind this. The breakfast was plentiful and was filling and different every day. I would definitely come back and stay here. I had an early wake up on my last day as I was going on my dessert tour. Imane was very accommodating and gave me breakfast before I left even though I had to leave very early in the morning. Nothing
• Keith (10/5): It was wonderful and exceeded expectations - I had a wonderful stay at this Riad throughout my weeks stay in Marakech. All of the team were so friendly and polite, and looked after me from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Imane came out into the medina to meet my cab and guided me the short distance to the Riad. Equally I was helped to my taxi on leaving. I received a warm welcome with a traditional Moroccan mint tea and pastries and shown to my room. The whole premises were always exceptionally clean and very peaceful. My cosy room had a hairdryer and a modern bathroom. Breakfast served on the rooftop terrace was always freshly prepared, tasty and substantial with cooked eggs, various breads and condiments, coffee, juice and mint tea, preparing you for your day ahead. The Riad has an excellent location in the Medina, with everything in walking distance including the Kasbah to the south and Gueliz, Ville Nouvelle and Jardin Majorelle to the north and everything in between. After a busy schedule exploring, on return to the Riad I enjoyed either a Hammam or a massage (in the Riad itself) which were excellent and so relaxing - something I can definitely recommend. The area is safe, and the street off which the Riad is located is a wonderful market street, with nearby restaurants. Imane speaks excellent English and recommended restaurants for me, and booked me a taxi to take me to the airport. I highly recommend this Riad and would stay here again. Nothing

• Jolanda (10/5): Het heeft onze verwachtingen ruimschoots overtroffen, alles op loopafstand! Geweldige week gehad! - Het warme welkom door de geweldige en lieve gastvrouw Imane. Ze is zeer gastvrij, geïnteresseerd en behulpzaam. Sowieso is al het personeel super vriendelijk. De mooi ingerichte riad met oog voor smaak en detail! Met een hammam incluis. De fijne en superschone kamer met elke dag schone handdoeken en een opgemaakt bed. Het verse en lekkere ontbijt op het dakterras. En natuurlijk de ligging van deze mooie riad; verbazingwekkend rustig terwijl je wel in de medina zit met heel veel bezienswaardigheden dichtbij. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is in onze ogen perfect. We hadden een relatief krappe ingang om in onze kamer (nr.6) te komen. Het toilet had een kwartslag gedraaid moeten staan om fatsoenlijk te kunnen zitten. Verder keurig.
• Rob (10/5): Riad Jo is een oase van rust in het hart van de oude stad, waar authentieke charme, warme gastvrijhe - Wat een parel in het hart van de oude stad van Marrakesh is Riad Jo! Deze heerlijke Riad ligt midden in het centrum van het oude Marrakesh, waardoor werkelijk alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand liggen. Ideaal om de stad op je eigen tempo te ontdekken en steeds weer “thuis” te komen in een oase van rust. Vanaf het eerste moment word je met open armen ontvangen door gastvrouw Imane. Haar gastvrijheid is ongeëvenaard – niets is haar te veel. Ze staat altijd klaar met een glimlach, waardevolle tips en oprechte aandacht, waardoor je je direct welkom en helemaal op je gemak voelt. Elke ochtend word je verwend met een afwisselend, vers en heerlijk traditioneel ontbijt. Lokale specialiteiten, met zorg bereid, zorgen voor een perfecte start van de dag. Het is duidelijk dat kwaliteit en authenticiteit hier voorop staan. Een absolute aanrader is de Hammam, gevolgd door een heerlijke massage. Dit is pure luxe en dé ultieme ontspanning en verwennerij na een dag slenteren door de sfeervolle straatjes van de medina. Een ervaring die je verblijf echt compleet maakt. Kortom: Riad Jo is een fantastische plek om te verblijven en een echte aanrader voor iedereen die naar Marrakesh gaat. • Ken (10/5): - Unser Aufenthalt im Riad Jo war sehr schön und hat all unsere Erwartungen an das Riad übertroffen. Beim Betreten des Riads wird man von einem angenehmen Duft empfangen, der einen sofort entspannen lässt. Man fühlt sich wie in einer Oase der Ruhe mitten in der lebendigen Medina. Das Design ist wunderschön, stilvoll, authentisch und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das gesamte Team ist außergewöhnlich herzlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns förmlich von den Lippen abgelesen, und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt und Handtücher werden täglich gewechselt. Das Bett war bequem, und die Ruhe im Riad sorgt für erholsame Nächte. Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen ein Highlight. Frisch, abwechslungsreich, liebevoll angerichtet und mit vielen marokkanischen Köstlichkeiten. Auch auf Lebensmittelallergien wurde sehr gut eingegangen. Selbst bei unserer Abreise in den Frühen Morgenstunden wurde extra ein Lunchpaket frisch zubereitet und liebevoll zurecht gepackt. Auch die Dachterrasse ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen, Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Lage ist ideal. Zentral, aber dennoch ruhig, sodass man Marrakesch bequem zu Fuß erkunden kann. Wir würden jederzeit wieder im Riad Jo übernachten und können es aus voller Überzeugung weiterempfehlen. Ein Ort mit Herz, Charme und echter Gastfreundschaft.

• Emilia (10/5): Cudowny pobyt - W porównaniu do drugiego riadu, w którym nocowaliśmy (w podobnej cenie) ten był wspaniały. Ciepła kołdra idealna na zimowy pobyt w Maroko, klimatyzacja z funkcją grzania (nie trzeba było jej prawie używać, bo było tak ciepło), bardzo czysto, piękne części wspólne, praktycznie na głównej ulicy, więc nie trzeba za dużo chodzić po pustych uliczkach, personel wspaniały, hammam tutaj to fajne przeżycie, obfite i różnorodne śniadanie. Urodzinowa niespodzianka, która była czymś więcej niż prosiłam, jeszcze raz dziękuję :) Nie ma nic do czego można się przyczepić. Polecamy! -

Le personnel est absolument adorable : souriant, attentionné, très serviable et toujours réactif au moindre besoin. Le petit déjeuner est un vrai régal, copieux et très varié, avec des produits frais chaque matin. On s’y sent vraiment bien accueilli, comme à la maison. Une très belle adresse que je recommande sans hésiter !

• Julian (10/5): Sehr gut - Ich vermiete selber Unterkünfte bei Booking und weiß deshalb auch, welcher Aufwand, welche Mühen und Kosten hinter einer Unterkunft stehen. Daher kann ich nur sagen, dass ich bisher noch kein besseres Preis-Leistungsverhältnis erlebt habe. Wer bei dieser Unterkunft zu den momentanen Übernachtungspreisen etwas zu meckern hat, der hat einfach keine Ahnung.

• Eleanor (10/5): Very helpful, great location - Lovely staff, great breakfast, beautiful hotel with pool, roof terrace and excellent warm showers. We were with a 2 year old amd he loved it too (accompany on stairs and near the pool of course). Great location near to the central souks but still quiet!
• Robert (9/5): Stylish and comfortable riad with helpful staff in a nice location - Clean, comfortable stylish room. Really lovely and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice in the morning. Felt very safe with a coded entry to the Riad. Secluded and quiet location but still in the heart of the medina just a short walk away to the Souks and nice restaurants and cafes.
• Elea (10/5): Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen! :) - Wunderschönes Riad mit guten Zimmern in einer tollen Lage mitten in der Medina, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Gefrühstückt wird klassisch draußen und die Zimmer sind eher klein, nichts davon hat uns gestört oder unseren Aufenthalt negativ beeinflusst. Man sollte es aber wissen wenn man im Winter kommt.

• Daniella (9/5): Prettige en centraal gelegen Riad - Mustapha en zijn team doen alles om het je naar je zin te maken. Ze serveren een heerlijk ontbijt op het dakterras, of als het zoals bij ons regent, in een kleine kamer op de begane grond. Wij hadden een ruime kamer op de 1e verdieping. De badkamer is klein, met uitstekende douche met heerlijk warm water. De Riad ligt aan het einde van een doodlopende steeg, dus rustig. Vanuit daar is alles prima te voet bereikbaar. Als opbouwende kritiek: twee comfortabele stoelen op de kamer zou prettig zijn.

• Mpho (10/5): Riad Jo was the sanctuary we needed after loong days of excursions and football - Riad Jo is a new establishment and within the center of the medina. It is very safe and clean. Many souks and places to eat are nearby (walking distance). Bathroom is modern and bed is on the firmer side (perfect) Breakfast is continental and excellent. you get mixed fruits, eggs, bread, juice and mint tea. Had the digital code to open the door for ourselves (felt like home) and Wifi signal was excellent Mustafa offered advice when requested and service was genuine Nothing much. Just advice - need a towel rack(s) and a bigger dustbin in the room

The room was small as described in the listing, however if all you are looking for a clean room with ensuite bathroom / shower, lovely people, great terrace and in a good location, Riad Jô is perfect,.

• Gordon (10/5): Lovely staff who went out of the way to make us feel welcome - Riad Jo is located in a quiet side street off the main bustling market. The market was honestly quite stressful with lots of traffic (people, bikes, donkeys, etc), and it was always a relief to return to our riad to rest and get away. We had breakfast on the rooftop when the weather was dry, and on the ground floor when it was raining- both times the staff were very attentive and ensured we were comfortable. We also used the spa service at the riad. It was so convenient having the spa located a few steps from our room. The riad accommodated us to do a hammam as a couple, our masseuse was very professional and thorough. The spa room was slightly cramped when we did it as a couple. Mostafa was our main host during our stay and he was genuinely friendly, exceptionally welcoming and patient in helping us settle in. He shared some advice about getting taxis in the city, and helped us obtain an umbrella to combat the rain. We felt like we made a new friend here in morocco. No fault of the riad itself, but we were unfortunate that there were heavy rains in Marrakesh when we visited, the streets leading to the riad had many puddles and it was unpleasant walking in the rain and getting wet socks.
• Mathis (10/5): - The riad is brand new, having opened in November 2025. Unlike countless other riads, the bathrooms are very modern and equipped with rain showers, the deluxe room is spacious. The hospitality is remarkable; I was served Moroccan tea and cake upon arrival.

• Anwer (9/5): Nice place to stay in Marrakesh - This is a relatively newer property, parts of it are still under construction and remodeling, we enjoyed our stay here, staff was friendly, good breakfast, reasonable price, good Wifi, ability to get a nice hot shower after a long ride back from the Sahara desert felt good Because of new construction and possible plumbing issues there was an odor in the bathroom, which we reported to management and they did try to resolve by providing us with incense sticks.
• Mehmet (10/5): AMAZING - I don’t know where to start. Words are not enough to describe the hospitality of the owner, Mr. Mustafa. I stayed only one night, but his hospitality was excellent. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay at this riad.

• Hege kristin runge (10/5): A perfect riad in the medina in Marrakesh - The riad was peaceful, and calming to return to after a busy day in the medina… very nice staff and ovners, with personal care, and helpfull! The rooms and common areas were clean, and the riad was new and fresh, with an old history. We highly recomend to stay here!
• Raisa (9/5): Wonderful. 10/10 recommend. - What’s not to like. Riad jô is wonderful. It’s a small riad and fairly new. I like that there was no tv in the room. The location is wonderful. Close to a small market and the big market isn’t far away. Not to mention the staff made our stay so special. Very hospitable and knowledgeable. We received some tea when we arrived. They pick you up by the mosque when you arrive by taxi. We were checked in by Mustafa (I hope I spelled his name correctly). 10/10 recommend. The only thing I liked less was the mattress. It was a bit hard for my personal liking, but will still stay again if i ever go back to Marrakech.
