Guest Reviews

- Monique (5/5): - Great location and comfortable The made comfy team were a nightmare to deal with. We had problems with the tv and internet and they kept saying they would get the property manager to call and they never did. Also they would get them round to fix it and never did. I complained and they didn’t respond until I called. I wasted so much time on it to no avail.
- Ross (6/5): Good location, well set up for an extended self catering stay (but potential aggravations) - Excellent location if you want to be in the New Farm area (less good, because of navigating through Fortitude Valley, if you need to go West). Well set up for an extended self-catering stay. The management company insists on you uploading a personal ID document to complete the booking. Given that data breaches are common I really don't like sharing ID documents just to make an accommodation booking.
Parking should have been described as "Onsite parking may be available at any time but can not be guaranteed - you will be competing with the other residents for a spot."
The front door is up an internal flight of steps which is very dark during the day, so it's hard to see the door locks. (It's much better at night because there is a light on a timer.) The door is in a tight corner, so you have to step right back and get your luggage out of the way of the screen door before you can access to the wooden door. The door locks are on the left side of the door and in a tight dark corner, so it's hard to see which of the three keys you are using and to get them lined up accurately in the two locks on the door. One of the locks is also unreliable - at one point we were locked out for 30 minutes.
WiFi is fine downstairs (kitchen and living area) but unusable in the upstairs master bedroom.
Access to the apartment is up a flight of stairs, and it's a two level apartment with internal stairs (kitchen, dining area, sitting room downstairs; two bedrooms, bathroom/laundry, and toilet upstairs). It would not be suitable for anyone who had issues with stairs. Also, the doorways to the toilet and smaller bedroom are right next to the top of the internal stairs, which might be risky if anyone sleepwalks.
- Eva (10/5): Amazing location, great property and host, priceless view from bedroom balcony! - We loved this property! It's the perfect location right in the lively New Farm district but at the samw time very quiet. Walking distance to New Farm Market, lots of bars, restaurants, cafe, promenade/board walk, brewery, City Cat boat etc. We loved the Wonderful view from the bedroom balcony onto the bridge! Apartment is equipped well and the communication with the host prior, post and during our stay was phenominal, thank you so much for an amazing stay, when we come through Brisbane next time, we'll definitely stay again!😊
- Parrish (1/5): Scammers unpleasant neighbours surrounding - Leaving There poor manners they send me a bill saying I had left all this mess around d claiming I left black finger smudges on things and forgot to clean the black shit on there fingers whe. They took the photos to bill me for it. Caught out red handed being scammers
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Yolande (9/5): Superb - Love Newfarm.. beautiful views
- Maya (3/5): Not charming and too many steps - The location- The toilet seat was broken and though I filled in a maintenance report- moderate issue - I had absolutely no response or even acknowledgement of the issue. Also the toilet was dirty and needed to be cleaned.
There was no mention of the many stairs in the advertisement - we counted 43 steps between cxar park and bedroom- with stairs inside the apartment.
There were two black tea bags- both looked as though had been wet so looked as though used - a trivial thing but added to the general atmosphere of neglect.
Far from charming- the outside appearance was of a gaol .
