• John (5/5): Overall it’s okay but the pillows and covers are extremely unhygienic - The property was a great location and set out nicely There were instructions for collecting the keys however the keys were kept 1.5km away from the property at a EZYmart. This was not disclosed prior to checking in and with busy traffic made it extremely difficult to get them. There were urine stains all over the pillows and blankets which is very unhygienic

• Anthony (1/5): Bad - The Madecomfy proof of identification rigmarole (photo id with headshot combined with photo id via some scanning software) was completely unnecessary and overly complicated in the extreme. I have been a Booking.com customer for ~ 15 years. You have a record of my bookings and presumably any complaints about treatment of premises rented. "The keys are in a lockbox on location" claim in your property description is demonstrably false. A kilometer walk to the pickup point for the keys is not my idea of "on location". The reminder from Madecomfy, on the eve of our departure, to return the keys to the pickup point just added insult to injury. I did not like the fact that by the time we had arrived at the premises (after the book-in time), we had not received details of which particular unit in the building was the one that had been booked. Having to make phone calls from a ground floor lift lobby while appearing lost to all passersby is less than uplifting. The unit was fine. The booking process was a complete disaster. Going on holidays should make you feel good. Not irate about the process involved. Madecomfy will get no further business from this very disgruntled customer

• Daile (1/5): VERY DISAPOINTING!!! - no notification that we had a 1/2hr walk to pick up the key nor where to pick up the keys from. 1 set of keys??? 2 wine glasses 3 coffee mugs 1 towel. The lifts broke down for 3hrs and we weren't able to access room via stairs.

Easy to get around Melbourne city To find that the apartment hadn’t been serviced from the previous tenants.No beds changed or clean towels. Dirty dishes in the sink and on arrival we had to walk 5 City blocks to pick up the key, which is after a long day is not appreciated.

Everything very clean except the couch which probably needs a professional clean. Key pick up/drop off was not very convenient as a distance from the property and the deadlock was difficult to unlock.

• Helen (5/5): Passable - close to AO event The parking, some areas in the apartment were dirty and part of the ceiling above the sliding door was coming away from the ceiling. No instructions on how to exit the parking. It was a challenge as we had to reverse up a curved ramp to access the point where you could release the gate to exit. A real nightmare. Thank god there were no other cars coming down the ramp.

• Kendal (8/5): The property is lovely and quiet with lift access and it is in a very handy, central location. Access to the key, and re - Very quiet and clean. Each bedroom had access to a bathroom. The layout and decor were very nice too. Access to the key to the property wasn’t close by and needed to be returned to the same place, which required even more effort when traveling with luggage on trams. There weren’t any plugs for the bathroom sinks or bath.
