Guest Reviews
- Iuliia (8/5): It was good - Excellent view Parking
- Ella (8/5): Very good and the made comfy staff were so helpful, they were amazing. - The location and the view is impeccable! One of the rooms was a little small and there were tiny stains on the sheets but thats about it.

- Meaghan (7/5): Worked well for our family of4 for a short stay - Views are fabulous - it’s clean and serviceable. Parking door could do with a new opener - took a few goes to get it working
- Rosalie (6/5): - Views over the harbour amazing. Location caused a few issues. Very hilly to get to public transport so not suitable if you are unfit. Bus is only a block away up a steep hill if you are fit. Ubers didn’t seem to like going to location and often cancelled at busy times. Owner could do to leave some information about where the bus stop is local restaurants and where to put your rubbish. These are just suggestions not criticising as I enjoy my stay and personally managed the hill to the bus stop. Person I was travelling with found it difficult.
- Sian (10/5): Nice clean property, everything required was to hand - Location, cleanliness N/a
- Jennifer (10/5): - Very comfortable, great location, just a short walk to Balmain East Ferry, and a fantastic view of the city.
- Sarah (4/5): Disappointing, Could have been better. - Loved the area it was in and the view from the balcony. The state of the place when we arrived wasn’t the best. I also requested an earlier check in but was told i wasn’t able to as the cleaners needed adequate time to clean which was fine, we waited until 3pm however upon arrival it looked as though the place hasn’t been cleaned at all. Dirty dishes, dirty floors and table. Stains on the ground, and the toilet brush was left lying down which put water all throughout the toilet. And the whole place also smelt like Indian food and smoke.
- Simon (7/5): Lovely view but no air con and expensive for what it is. - Lovely view onto White Bay, Barangaroo and entrance to Darling Harbour. Close to Balmain East ferry terminal and bus stop for access to city. Second time we have stayed here so we knew what to expect. No aircon or ceiling fans - this is a big issue on a hot summer day/night. Multiple pedestal fans are provided but not sufficient to get the rooms cool (even when using ice blocks in front of fans).
No coffee or black tea bags provided - just green tea. A small thing but these are expected and make the difference.
Still some maintenance issues - leaking shower connector, some electrical sockets loose on wall. But lift now fixed.
Paying a hefty premium for the view - it would have been cheaper to stay in the luxury Shagri La hotel in the city (but we needed to be in Balmain to be close to family.)
- Jaycel (10/5): We enjoyed our stay - The view and the accessibility to the city There’s no where to throw the bins
- Stephen (6/5): Could have been better! - Great balcony views and location. The 'present' which was left in the toilet when we arrived 🤑. You don't expect to have to clean a toilet. It was disgusting. Also it was hot and the windows wouldn't open.
- Keith (7/5): Great location and views, spoilt by a serious lack of small but important things you would expect in any holiday rental - View was great Toilet brush on the floor with no holder, most unhygienic. Almost no glasses. Sliding windows that do not stay open and fall back down dangerously. No air conditioning or ceiling fans and unable to leave doors or windows open because of mosquitoes, no insect screens! No coffee at all?
- Jeol (4/5): Nice stay but overly priced for the value - Only the view from the property was good 1. There was no lock in the toilet
2. The shower screen was broken from the bottom and hence there was a water leakage
3. The carpet wsre stinky
4 Elevator was not working , my widge is pregnant and has to climb up 4 floors everytime
- Paul (8/5): Nice place to stay . Lots of hills . - Views from the apartment were amazing of thee we city It was difficult to get to. Apartment block was a little dated. Needed some fleshing up . Apartment basic but had all entities.
- Andrea (8/5): Comfortable place to stay with amazing views! - Exceptional view! Comfy beds, Close to the ferry and 3 stops from Circular Key, Also close to the coffee shop and pub (up the lane). Beautiful area and historic houses. Lovely block of flats.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (10/5): We loved our stay and found the location gave us endless opportunities to discover Sydney Would absolutely stay again - Love the location and view
Well set up Had probs with tripping safety switch -we think related to heaters
Would be good to know where the electrical board is located We spent some time looking for it both in and out side the unit
Would also have liked a few lap rugs - just to increase the comfort level
- Maria (10/5): enjoyable, comfortable , clean and excellent - the view was wonderful, the apartment was very comfortable i liked it all !
- Royal (7/5): good - The property was in good condition and in the good location and great city views. The building should try to improve its condition i.e. lift was in very horrible condition and also the remote keys of the parking weren’t working.
