- Victoria (8/5): Clean modern apartment close to city centre - A lovely clean, modern apartment just 20 minutes walk from the city (and I walk slowly!)
Lots of shops nearby
Good sized bedrooms There was only 1 fork in the cutlery drawer - for 5 people staying!
No scissors
The taps in the bathroom and kitchen were both the wrong way round in terms of hot and cold water. If you wanted hot water, you had to turn it to cold and visa versa.
Not a problem when you know, but it originally made us think there was no hot water!
- Street (8/5): A great location with a comfortable interior in a quiet area. Ideal for a short stay. - A great location, just 15 minutes walk to the city centre amd Principality Stadium and 15 minutes in the opposite direction to Cardiff City Stadium so it’s ideal if you’re going to a sport or music event.
Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had just what was required for a short stay. Two toilets rolls for six people over a weekend wasn’t enough and there was no hand soap that we could see.
Despite numerous attempts we couldn’t get the TV and its built-in Roku to work. There wasn’t an aerial cable to connect and the TV couldn’t connect to the WiFi despite using a personal hotspot .
There was also a large amount of carpet fluff and hair from the main walkway between the bedrooms that seemed to get everywhere.

- saara (8/5): Bright, clean and comfortable family friendly flat! - Lots of light, which made the kitchen/ living area feel more spacious. The flat had everything you would need for a few days away. I thought the beds were good! The hosts answered all of our questions quickly and were always helpful. We came for a family wedding and the location was a 5 min walk from their house. My dad is usually fussy and he was really happy with everything. It’s really easy to get into town too, if you want to go see Cardiff castle or just go shopping. Overall had a great time and would love to come again for the next family wedding haha! Everything was good but it would be good to keep some hand-wash and a few more toilet rolls out :)
- Liza (7/5): Will recommend - Very decent apartment with complimentary toiletries. Close to several attractions which was very convenient. Kitchen and living area had everything we needed in terms of crockery and appliances. Lots of fluff on stairway leading to the apartment. Also had fluffy stuff on carpets inside the apartment. You would think these would be cleaned just before guests arrived. Also the bedroom lamps and table units were dusty. There's WiFi, however access to the TV is by using our mobile Hot-spot. Took a while to figure out and kids were frustrated as we couldn't watch TV for the first two days. It would be ideal for TV to be easily accessible without guests using their hot spots.

- Gemma (7/5): Comfortable bedrooms but not great seating area for a family to spend time together. - While the apartment itself is very nice in appearance, we’ve found that it doesn’t quite cater to the number of guests it's advertised to accommodate. (1 small sofa which only seat 2 guests)
The living space is quite limited, and there isn’t enough comfortable seating for everyone to sit together.
Additionally, we noticed a few practical issues that have affected our experience:
Several lamps are missing light bulbs.
We’ve been unable to access any channels on the TV.
The seating available is quite uncomfortable.
Both the external and internal entrances don’t feel very secure.
The safe provided is not bolted down, which defeats its purpose.
The area is quite run down.
