- Judith (8/5): A bonus to our stay was the Victorian event in Oamaru that weekend. - Clean and fresh accommodation . It was a change to have non white clinical linen and towels. The loo at the end of the house. Kitchen needs a few more kitchen utensils .

- Laillah (9/5): Was a lovely spot to stay , we were just passing through so only stayed one night however realised it’s the kind of plac - The property was lovely and clean with sweet small details , it felt very private and we felt at home- the bathroom had the cutest mini anthurium I’ve ever seen! The toilet was at the back room of the house which got a little cold but not to much of a problem

- Pearson (10/5): - Love cosy home with thoughtful touches, we all appreciated the hot chocolate supplies and cookies after a cold evening penguin watching. Thank you for a very comfortable and homely stay.
- Amelia (10/5): -
- Wright (9/5): Perfect location, comfy beds and beautifully appointed rooms/decor. - Beautiful decor, comfy beds, and a perfect location. Easy to get to and nice and warm in winter. A lovely space, and would have loved to stay more than one night! We really appreciated the comfort at the end of a long South Island holiday. there was a VERY strong smell of cat urine at the front of the house along the concrete pathway, it made unloading our luggage quite unpleasant and was a bad first impression of such a lovely home.
- Ulrike (9/5): In general a very nice appartment, highly recommended. - Good location, only 10-15min walk to the city centre, and cosy appartment. Great amenities. To get to the toilet you have to go through the kitchen and the terrace, which makes it very cold in winter.
- James (5/5): Passable -
- Amy (10/5): Beautifully decorated house close to everything in Oamaru - This was a great stay! The house was very clean, with lovely decor. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook a good meal. The bedrooms were spacious with great beds, and the heat pump in the living room kept us nice and warm. There's off-street parking too, which is always good. It was very close to downtown Oamaru, the Victorian precinct, Steampunk HQ, and the beach. Highly recommended!
- Bruce (7/5): Good - Cold kitchen and toilet long way from bedrooms
- Reagan (8/5): Nice stay - Easy check in
- Emma (9/5): Superb - Loved this little cottage - a renovation done extremely well, it resonated with home away from home vibes. Attention to detail was obvious.
- Johanna (10/5): Best place - I let them know we were checking in late and they had the heater on for us so house was warm!! Love
- Johanna (10/5): Exceptional - I said we were checking in later and the heater was on!! Amazing hosts!! Oh the sofa is soo comfy esp with warmest blankets ever!! Love staying here! Thanks Nothing!
- Tanya (8/5): I think its a new bnb ,it was lovely 😍 -
- Slemint (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): Cozy quiet and lovely cottage - Cozy, clean and tidy cottage. Very responsive host and clear check-in and out instructions. Would stay there again when we’re in Oamaru.
- Ranee (10/5): Exceptional - We had an absolutely wonderful one-night stay at this cottage! The cottage itself was clean and tidy. The little touches—like fresh milk in the fridge and a Nespresso machine—made us feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the electric heater kept the room really warm. We only stayed one night, but it felt like a perfect mini getaway. Highly recommend this gem for anyone needing a peaceful retreat!
- Helen (5/5): I cannot recommend this property during the winter - Comfy bed but didn’t like the bedding. This property has several issues if it is to continue to operate through the winter months. The bedroom wall heaters were difficult to operate. The kitchen has no heating at all and the only toilet, with no heating, is next to the kitchen at the other side of the house from the shower room and bedrooms. There is a wood burner which would probably help but it was out of action. The worst issue safety wise is that there is no outside lighting on the uneven and irregular steps from where you park to the side door. We discovered an inside light switch that switched on a light outside but as it was situated near the kitchen it wasn’t apparent what it was for. That light doesn’t cover the dodgy steps. This little place could be great but more attention to safety and heating needs to be addressed.
- Kathryn (5/5): Cute, clean and fresh cottage. Enjoyed our night there. - Heaters in the rooms were great. The place has been refreshed nicely. Very clean and tidy. The bed was a bit hard but ok. The toilet is located at the back of the house so not ideal.
- Qigang (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (9/5): Comfy, convenient quit stay. - Lovely little house, impeccably refurbished. Comfy bed. Close to the "old town" part of Oamaru allowing for a walk up the hill. Off street parking, good internet. Toilet at back of house rather than in the bathroom
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Good quiet location on hill overlooking the town centre. The owners were very good at making sure, via booking message all was ok and if we needed anything property recently renovated I think so all in new condition, handy for local amenities such as Penguin colony and the victorian heritage district
- Arnold (10/5): Exceptional -
