Guest Reviews
- jalpan (8/5): It was all and all very good stay and if I visit again to Melbourne would like to stay hear again. - Location of the unit
- Miranda (4/5): - Location, spacious. Not properly cleaned, fan in shower didnt work, fold out bed difficult to assemble and very uncomfortable. The link to the MadeComfy App was removed in all emails which made getting check in details difficult to find.
- Tracey (7/5): -
- Lee (2/5): A weekend away in a building site - The property was disgustingly dirty from building dust. They must have just finished renovating and forgot to clean the place. When we complained they only offered back third of the cleaning fee. Disgrace!!
- Belinda (7/5): -
- Tiarne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kylie (8/5): Very good -
- Saskia (3/5): Would NOT recommend - The location was good and it had a nice balcony. It was clean enough. We booked for 6 people but they only gave us 4 towels. On the first night, I emailed to request more towels, but I got no response. Two days later I messaged them via the app and they said there would be a $70 "cleaning fee" for more towels. When I again clarified we had to share 4 towels between 6 of us they said they would get us more ASAP. We never got any more towels.
They only gave us one key to share between 6 adults! You required a key to get into the building and the room. This was very annoying, considering we all had different plans!
The hot water was either scorching hot or cold, only occasionally was it ok.
The air conditioning didn't work. It was like a sauna in there!
The sofa bed was supposed to sleep 2 people. It did not sleep two adults and we are not big people. Also, it was not made up when we got there.
- Sylvia (6/5): Carpets needed cleaning - Beds were comfortable and a good kitchen missing a water jug for water No air-conditioning
And not much of a Riverview
Power point in the bathroom didn't work
- Alicia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (1/5): Don't stay here. They have aircon which doesn't work. Carpet is dirty and gave me rashes. -
- Wong (5/5): The place should be cleaner - Location Dirty carpet, no aircon. The place was not thoroughly cleaned
- Tracy (1/5): Bad - Nothing a part from the complex concierg who was in charge of our apartment The apartment was dirty carpets filthy air con didn't work no river veiws we waisted so much time trying to get things fixed we sent photos about issues we waited for the maintenance person to attend to air con which couldn't be fixed and property manager was going to compensate but now they said it wasn't advertised with air con which was in the original advert. I can not believe they think we a so stupid to pay 375 per night with no air conditioning. Illegal balcony oh my goodness we are now starting a media blitz on this company. The maintenance man disclosed he last summer tried to fix the air conditioning and it still hadn't been serviced or fixed. Not happy we are taking legal action
- Martin (6/5): Quite good, but lacks essential instructions. - Serious lack of information, largely around how to access the property, where to park and how to get there (spent at least 15 mins after entering the car park, trying to find the bay reserved for our apartment- bays are not numbered in order and once we finally found a bay that had a number resembling our room number, we parked there, but feared it may not have been correct). You need to provide concise details about where and how to enter the carpark and then concise details about the parking bay number and exactly how and where to find it.
- Lindholm (1/5): Only stayed 2 nights out of 5 due to how bad/dirty the apartment was. Has to book different accommodation - Location Apartment was not clean. Stains all over the carpet. Trash left in the bedrooms. Mould in the ensuite
- Beth (4/5): Great location but the apartment needs work. - The location was good The carpet is gross
There were no linens for the sofa bed. No quilt covers and the quilts that were there were stained with what looked like blood and urine. We paid for 6 ppl and there weren’t even enough towels and sheets. For the price we paid, it was disappointing.
No fan in the ensuite bathroom and there was mouldy tiles. The main aircon/heater doesn’t work either. It really needs maintenance and a bit more thought to peoples needs when staying there. But the location is great.
- Mark (8/5): Would stay again for the price point and location. The beds are comfortable and that’s what counts. - Great location , roomy apartment, comfy beds. Dated bathroom , still fine and clean! Needs new carpet as the current carpet is covered in stains. Makes you feel like you can’t be bare foot.
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - the location to city, the views are amazing, clean and well presented the car parking bay could have a map of location.
the key collection and drop off were obtained, however very confusing at times due to our out of hours checkin and out.
- Amos (7/5): Good - We enjoyed the space, it felt homely. Amazing view. Great parking with easy access to accommodation. Kitchen had everything we needed. Amazing water pressure. Unfortunately there was some areas with build up of dirt/dust. The spare blankets had lots of stains, the carpets were also stained. Some of the dishes had to be rewashed.
- Austen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Giovanna (3/5): Poor - Facilities in the room so much not working.air conditioning not working, doors not closing properly, and front door key lock very hard to lock.
- Travis (5/5): Passable - Location and free parking Badly strained carpets
Air con not working
Felt very cheap
- Peter (7/5): Nice central place shame about all the faults. - 5 light bulbs were blown
Showers were cold/warm
Aircon was not working- had to bye my own heaters
There were two in the cupboard- one was broken ( the stand/foot was broken.
Parking numbers in the basement were very confusing
We parked in 322a received a move on note as this was the wrong park
- Tony (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good, parking was good and view was good The heater / air-conditioning doesnt work.
One of the bedroom doors was missing the handle and the door was broken. There was a lot of stains on the carpet and the main entrance door had to be key locked when inside.
The information sent states to leave the keys on the kitchen bench when leaving but I received a call later from the owner asking why the key was not taken to the key pickup location?
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Eric (8/5): GOOD LOCATION -
- Carole (10/5): 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms very comfortable & two couches in loungeroom. - Plenty of room; two bathrooms with 2 bedrooms for privacy. Have a nice loungeroom to relax & chat with 2 couches so enough seats for 4 people plus dining area for breakfast or any meal. I had my elderly mother down for a visit so one bathroom was walkin shower which suited her mobility & apartments had a lift. Also with the couches allowed for easy comfortable chatting without kinked necks. But great for anyone wanting close to southbank or exhibition building / crown etc. Did have a couple of close coffee shops / toasties for lunch if eating in. I recommend Mr Summit excellent coffee & Chai Latte's yum with excellent service. Had pretty much everything you need in unit. Could potentially add papertowel or serviettes as a bonus and maybe some gladwrap but otherwise didn't need anything else. Thankyou for a great stay.
- Raymond (7/5): Our stay was comfortable. The air conditioning wasnt working whilst we were the and minor repairs were needed. - Location Stains on the carpet in main room i believe the previous person had eaten chewing gum and it was stuck in the carpet. Kids balloons found in the sofa bed. Window latches were broken, shower handheld was broken. Otherwise it was a great place. Very lovely. Would’ve been nice if the aircon worked too.
- Carina (7/5): Good -
- Ricky (5/5): Was good but far from great - Location was great Poor aircon
Wifi non existent
Bedding stained
Poor communication of entry into apartment
- Debbie (8/5): Would definitely stay there again - Comfortable and close to places we wanted to visit There is a very loud howling noise in the passage when it is windy, they need a door sausage for the door. Also a bit of mould in shower
- Sharbini (9/5): Superb -
- Manoj (8/5): Its good, but inconvenient due to one key only for 6 people - Location was good
No breakfast This was bit complicated and first night my friend had to make some other arrangement as he didnt get the keys and shope was closed the time he arrived
Day to day access was problematic with one key
Overall it was very good, and could be best for a family of six
- Bronwyn (1/5): Filthy, Dirty and Disgusting - We didnt end up staying at the apartment and left not long after we arrived. Firstly we had to collect keys from a convenience store at a busy intersection, where no parking was available. I had to jump out at the lights, whilst my partner did a drive around the block to recollect me. It was then difficult to access the parking for the building and the escalators with our luggage. On finally making our way into our two bedroom apartment, it was immediately obvious that the apartment had not been cleaned. There was open bottles of drink on the kitchen counter, emtpy / dirty takeaway containers on the coffee table, fake eyelashes and dirty makeup wipes in various places, empty pill packets on bench tops, unknown loose pills in a bedside drawer, empty furniture boxes in the wardrobe, dried noodles on doors, long loose hairs throughout the bathroom sinks, baths and floors, bottle lids in shower recess, dirty and unvaccumed carpets with visible rubbish on floor, stains on couch cushions and rubbish and food crumbs under the couch cushions. I immediately called the number we had and was trying to explain the situation to a lady who did not speak well English. She asked me to email her photos of the filth, which I did immediately. I was then put on hold for nearly 45 minutes. During this time, my partner found and booked alternative accommodation one block down the street, that was in an apartment chain and was actually cheaper. When the lady finally returned to my call, she said she was having difficulty finding a cleaner to return to the property to clean for us. I advised we were checking out, would not stay a night there and expected a full refund, which she promised.
- Andy (7/5): Nice apartment in a great location. - Excellent location. Perfect if you need to access the convention centre, casino or even the MCG or tennis arenas. Plenty of nice places to eat near by. Close to lots of things (only a 15-20 min drive to Chadstone for excellent shopping). Overall, it was a pretty good apartment in good location. I'd stay there again. Carpet in the main living area could do with a bit more of a clean. And the heating just didn't seem to do anything. The main one on the living area would just randomly blast cold air. Thankfully the weather was pretty good while we were there so it wasn't too bad. But if it were real cold, it wouldn't be good. Perhaps I just couldn't figure out how to use it but the controls were pretty simple / basic. If it was me, maybe leave some instructions if there's some trick to it.
- Warren (6/5): Pleasant - Location good, window could not close so very noisy all night.
Beds great apartment clean except for the showers lot a black mould. Having to get the keys off site
- Thi (8/5): we will come back next time - we like it so much, location is good, can take a walk to all the attraction places in Melbourne, the apartment is clean, modern, comfortable it’s not easy to contact someone upon check in, no clear instruction how to check in, no wifi password and don’t know who to ask
- Belinda (7/5): Good - the location and the bed was comfortable one key provided so if I went out without my husband he couldn’t go out as you can’t lock the door without the key and can’t get back in if I was out. also no working fan in the bathroom making showering uncomfortable
- Gillian (8/5): Very good -
- Kathy (10/5): Fantastic apartment and I would highly recommend… I will book again our beds were very comfy . - Fantastic easy to find and ready when we were I could not find the details for the wifi so I did not use it. Water in shower took a long time to heat.
- Telley (4/5): bit of a tidy up/maintenance and more organisation would make for an excellent stay. - the water pressure in the main bathroom was exceptional absolutely zero instructions leading up to our stay other than date and location. various phone calls were required just to obtain access to property and parking. my first email with any instructions were delivered two hours after check in. arrival at the apartment, we observed some white powder residue left on mirrored tables, shelves are falling apart in bedrooms, sink in one bathroom is barely stable (smallest bit of silicone to hold it there), no exhaust fan in same bathroom occurring in a mold growing above mirror, doorstops and power points falling apart & most appliances we dirty and filled with crumbs upon arrival.
- Gavisan-moratti (7/5): Good -
- Sherry (8/5): Good Value just a process picking keys up - proximity to crown late check in 3pm, comes with parking but wasn’t easy getting a Landcruiser into the parking spot but I did it
- Brian (8/5): Very good -
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good -
- Gregory (8/5): Family Visit in Melbourne - Location, space of Unit, your own car park in building!! Only having 1 set of keys available when there's 2 couples wanting to do different things at different times.
- Anthony (7/5): Good -
