- Davidson (9/5): We had a great time and would recommend. Just BYO pool towels! - Loved the location, the spacious apartment, the pool, spa and gym! For 5 days we were given one towel each. No pool towels were provided. When I asked madecomfy for more towels it was suggested I go and buy some! I think this is stingy for a premium property that features the pool as a key selling point.
The property keys are collected from a separate site which may not suit everyone. There was only one set of keys which meant if one of us wanted to go out on our own the other was trapped in the apartment; you can't get in the lift without the keys so the pool/spa/gym are inaccessible. This took a little bit of juggling!

For an 8-day stay, we were provided with only one towel and one roll of toilet paper, and a tiny amount of soap. When I asked for more, I was told that I could go and buy it myself.
Being expected to buy basic essentials like toilet paper and towels for a paid accommodation is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.
They also charged my card a full month before the stay, just to “check if there were enough funds.”
Overall, the service from Made Comfy was extremely disappointing
- Alex (4/5): Great property but I'll never book with Made Comfy again!! - The Apartment itself was great and the amenities (when we finally had access) were incredible! We booked a 4-night stay in Australia for just over $900 AUD through MadeComfy on Booking.com. The listing clearly stated the apartment came with access to the pool, sauna, and gym.. sweet as, right? Yeah… nah.
We arrived Friday night, no issues picking up the keys. Went to use the facilities Saturday morning and found out we didn’t even have access to those floors. Building reception told us we had to attend a building induction to use anything… and the only options were 8am (which had already passed) and 7pm every other night. Meaning we couldn’t actually use the facilities until Sunday evening, when we already had dinner plans, so we basically only got to use everything on our last day. Had Made Comfy made us aware of the inductions we could have attneded 7pm Friday or the 8am Saturday.
From Saturday morning onwards, I spent 3 days and over 2 hours messaging MadeComfy. Their own portal only updated on Sunday to mention the induction requirement, and their excuse was basically “sorry, it should’ve been there from check-in.” Not exactly helpful after the fact.
I asked for a $200 AUD refund since the amenities were a big part of why we booked the place, ended up with a measly $60, which took three weeks to show up.
Overall, the stay was let down by poor communication and a pretty underwhelming refund for the inconvenience. Wouldn’t use MadeComfy again after this experience.
