Guest Reviews
- CHIALING (8/5): 地段佳 - 洗衣機烘衣機 沒有
- James (4/5): No towels or blankets for the kids, staff useless. Essentially a 2 person property. Families AVOID - Location, and the apartment itself was good. The property management. We booked for 4 people, thinking towels and linen would be provided, which the listing clearly says are included. Disappointingly we got 2 towels and no blankets for the fold out bed. So despite highlighting this on day 1 of our stay the property management sid NOTHING about it. We we then forced to purchase towels and a blanket for our kids. The management company was beyond useless and basically claimed that towels are only provided for the number of beds within the apartment, then went on to say the fold out isnt considered a bed, yet the system allows it to be booked for a family of 4.
The property management team made comfy should be avoided. After realising our scenario i checked other reviews and its the same storey over and over. The property management company needs a wake up call. Sell the property for 2 people only, or start providing bedding and towels for the number of people the property can accommodate.
- Selena (7/5): Enjoyed our stay once we finally arrived. - Location was in a great area, with easy access to southbank, public transport and good food locations Accessing the key for the apartment was extremely painful, having the location a fair distance from the appartments when carting luggage around, on arrival to get key looking up information in emails the link to information regarding key location had removed so had to call booking.com to get code for the key, after spending several minutes in the shop trying to find information for the shop worker to access keys for us, all while many customers trying to purchase goods around us, then once got to the appartments when carting our luggage to the location of the appartment, then had to call again to get what level the appartment was on and what the room number was. A much easier set up would be much more ideal in trying to get to the appartments and accessing information then having to drag luggage back to the shop to return keys at the end of our stay. Otherwise a good stay.
- Lorraine (9/5): Perfect location - The position was perfect, great views & comfortable & clean The key collection & return for me wasn't too easy, pick up, I parked at Woolworths & was ok to walk up to collect, returning was more difficult, I was lucky I had a beautiful person said he would help us, I left key in apartment & he came down & let us out of parking

- Angelique (3/5): Disappointed about the beds because everything else was great. - Excellent apartment, view was beautiful, the kitchen and laundry were really functional and clean. The sofa bed was not made for our booking of 4 people and there was no bedding, when I called and asked they said we had to bring our own bedding for the sofa bed.
- Sari (9/5): - Location, facility and easy access Cleaness can be improved. Hair and stain was found on the sofabed. Blanket to sofabed was very thin
- Ashleigh (10/5): -
- Prue (7/5): - quiet area, facilities were good No bedding or blanket for the sofa bed was left so it was unusable. Let the host know quite late on the first day so it was understandable they were unable to provide, however, there was no response by the second day and I had to send another message to prompt more information about the bedding. They told us they would only be able to supply bedding the day after so we weren’t able to make use of the third bed until the third night. Considering I paid for those nights and was not able to sleep comfortably was disappointing :(

- Arun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Prateek (9/5): Superb -
- Stuart (8/5): Overall good location and comfortable place to stay - There were a few items broken that should have been fixed, and the floor was a little dirty
- Eliza (2/5): Never ever ever again. - The location and initial impression of the property were positives. We were given insufficient bedding and towels for the number of guests booked. Whilst this could have and should have been a an issue quickly resolved by host “made comfy” it was not. Further issues became apparent as we continued our stay while awaiting resolution, suggested option or some kind of alternative that would meet the basics of our stay. The doona provided for the sofa had no cover, which would have at least visually shielded the kids from the unhygienic stains. The sheets were thick and rough material more akin to a picnic table cloth than anything you’d expect at a hostel let alone private accommodation and far far (faaaar) far from hotel quality. The staff were initially quick to respond and request photos to support our concerns, and verify we had in fact looked in cupboards (derrr) before bothering them with such problems like missing linens.
Unfortunately the response ceased first night and continued despite my requests for contact. I raised the issues with booking.com and was not surprised when they too received nil satisfactory response from made comfy. Only after our stay concluded and i provided scathing review in response the automated “thanks for staying with us, rate us 10/10?!” email did i start receiving more lack luster responses. I am still awaiting a phone call from management, explanation, apology and refund. Again, this should have been easily resolved and had it been i would not require those things however the management of the situation and lack of resolution meant we were in a limbo, considering buying bedding and towels, if we could seek compensation or we should seek alternative accommodation and this unresolved matter has now significantly impacted our entire stay.
- Chantelle (7/5): Good - Good location, not too far to walk to the river. Pool, spa and gym were awesome. Parking was easy to find and instructions on getting the keys and finding the place were easy. I didn’t like the fact that they knew we had kids coming with us as we had booked for 4 people and the sofa bed they were sleeping on was not pulled out let alone made, we had to go searching for linen. There was also a loud exhaust fan above the air conditioning unit that came on every time you turned it on and didn’t go off for about 30 mins after it was switched off and report calling we were unable to find a switch to turn this off. It was very loud and I think perhaps needs looking at. I also thought it would have been nice to have salt and pepper and sugar and essentials like that there for people to use.
- Daisy (10/5): Exceptional - The one-bedroom apartment is nice-sized and has everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette is well equiped, with coffee machine (the capsule kind), microwave, oven, dishwasher etc. There are washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. The wifi is excellent. There is also a free indoor car park space specifically earmarked for the apartment on site, which was a huge plus for us.
The location is great. Flinders St Station and tram station are less than 10 minutes' walk away. There is a Woolworths just around the corner. Queen Victoria Market is just a few tram stops away.
There are many cafes and restaurants along the Southbank Promenade. If you want something more upscale, Crown Melbourne is nearby. Key collection is off-site at a convenience store on a different street a few hundred metres away, near Crown Melbourne. Though it is not too far from the apartment, it is very inconvenient, impractical and unsafe. We arrived at the convenience store near midnight on Saturday and came across a road rage incident right outside the convenience store. After collecting the keys, we had to drag our luggage from the convenience store to the apartment building in the rain along unfamiliar and dimly lit streets. We felt conspicuous and vulnerable. It was the most unforgettable "check-in" experience. However, we still recommend this place, but just make sure you "check-in" on a fine sunny day and travel light.
- Rudgeez (9/5): Good location and nice apartment, improve the cleaning - Location, balcony, comfortable and had everything we needed. Cleanliness needs attention, dust in corners and under lounge and chairs. I had to strip and clean the a/c and the extraction fan in bathroom

- Margaret (8/5): Very good -
- Louise (10/5): great location - tidy, well appointed nicely furnished nothing
- Madalena (6/5): Pleasant - Very good location

- Leah (9/5): Great stay! - Great location and accommodation had many utilities and extras (pillows, towels, kitchen utensils, coffee machine bathroom amenities etc) Key collection was a bit confusing at first but once we figured it out, was fine!
- Margaret (9/5): Very handy for the NGV and arts precinct -
- Phyllis (8/5): Very good - Location was good Only supplied 2 towels for 6 nights
- Bruce (3/5): Disappointing. - Location was good and convenient. The apartment needs a good deep clean. We found all crockery and utensils were dirty, together with bins and microwave. Even dryer and washing machine needed attention. The fan exhaust duct and air conditioning unit were filthy. One wonders how clean any of the apartment was. This feedback and photos have been provided to the managers of the property - Made Comfy
