• Vickie (8/5): The place is very comfortable. - The overall the place is very comfortable and convenient. The entrance to the place. Didn't like the people working for the restaurant downstairs where's the entrance to the room. Very uncomfortable walking pass them.
• Ludovica (7/5): - Stanza spaziosa e pulita, dotata di tutti i comfort. Si trova in pieno centro. L’ingresso per la home stay è letteralmente un ristorante quindi è difficile da trovare. La host vuole essere pagata in contanti, ci siamo messi d’accordo su un orario perche li venisse a ritirare ma dopo 45 minuti di ritardo da parte sua abbiamo deciso di lasciarglieli direttamente in camera così da poter fare le nostre cose.

• Paislee (5/5): To loud and mouldy leaky bathroom - The beds are very comfy and clean bedding with a smart tv. If the noise from the traffic does not bother you, the location in the old quarter is perfect so much around to do and see However we hardly slept the 4 nights due to how loud it is from the road and the beeping. It starts around 6am until early hours in the morning. The apartment was not the cleanest on arrival the bathroom and kitchen area needs a deep clean. The bathroom is full of mould and we had a leak the from the ceiling which i reported but nothing was done. The leak was dripping on you when you sit on the toilet and also onto the shelf where we had our toothbrushes etc which we had to move to the kitchen. I personally didn't like how you had to go through the restaurant below and up 4 flights of stairs.

• Natalia (1/5): - Ничего Ужасное отношение к гостям. Хозяин просто забыл о нас и дал запасной ключ от нашего номера чужим людям, которые пришли к нам и стали ругаться, что мы заняли их номер. Категорически не советую это место! Микроволновки не было в номере, кондиционер не работал, полотенец тоже не было.
• Katarzyna (8/5): Fajne miejsce na starym mieście. - Lokalizacja w samym centrum starego miasta (słychać ruch jakby okna były otwarte, ale nam to nie przeszkadzało). Tak centralna lokalizacja powoduje często też stanie w korkach w taxi, jeśli ktoś chce się stąd wydostać. Mnóstwo jedzonka dookoła, masaże, wszystko co potrzeba. Właściciel bardzo szybko zareagował na informację, że w pokoju jest zimno, a byliśmy z dziećmi - jeszcze tego samego wieczoru przywiózł grzejnik, za co bardzo dziękujemy. Mieszkanie spore, przestronne, dwa duże łóżka. Jest mała lodówka, mikrofala, telewizor, klimatyzator. Brudne ręczniki - nie wiadomo, czy brudne bo się nie doprały czy nie zostały wymienione po poprzednich gościach.
• Elora (1/5): Passez votre chemin - L’emplacement avec le vieux quartier d’Hanoi Tout le reste… Nous sommes arrivées à 19h dans l’appartement en informant le propriétaire 1h à l’avance. Une fois en bas de l’immeuble (ou plutôt du restaurant), aucune indication n’était donnée. Nous avons essayé de l’appeler en vain pendant environ 40 minutes : il voyait nos messages mais ne nous répondait pas. C’est finalement une femme de ménage qui nous a ouvert, au bout de 40 minutes, en nous indiquant que le ménage n’était pas fait et qu’il fallait revenir dans 30 minutes (alors que le check-in était censé être disponible à partir de 14h). Nous avons donc pu entrer dans l’appartement vers 20h30, celui-ci n’ayant pas été correctement nettoyé. Le plafond de la salle de bain est dans un très mauvais état et fuit abondamment. Nous n’avons reçu aucune indication. Le propriétaire ne répondait à aucun de nos messages, alors que ceux-ci allaient pourtant dans son sens puisque nous souhaitions le payer. Il nous indiquait des horaires auxquels il comptait passer, sans jamais venir. Lorsqu’il a daigné venir le dernier soir, sans nous prévenir à l’avance, il a même eu l’audace de nous demander un pourboire ! Pour ce prix, vous pouvez trouver bien mieux ailleurs. Je ne recommande pas du tout !

• Xilona (10/5): - The room was spacious and spotless, the decoration tasteful and the beds lovely and big. They communicated very well and was attentive to requests. I was able to check out a bit later and store my luggage. Compared to a few other properties of the same price, I didn’t see complementary coffee/tea/water. But that’s not a big deal
• Sam (10/5): Would love to stay here again. - Very clean and modern. Full kitchen, washing machine and everything outside on the balcony. Location is great in the centre of Hanoi. Entrance is in the back of a small restaurant and there are 5 stories of steep stairs.

Great location Flat is on 5th floor and stairs are difficult to navigate with luggage. No elevator. Our fault for not checking but just an FYI to those with large luggage Noisy at night and early in the morning as it’s right in the middle of the old quarter. This comes with staying so central so was to be expected

• Tadej (8/5): Good - Good location close to everything in the old town. Room was big, clean and well equiped. Comfortable beds. The owner was helpfull - he organized our trip to Ninh Binh and transportation to SaPa in his travel agency. Big balcony with nice wiew on the street (but)... The apartment is a bit harder to find as the entrance is through the restaurant on the ground floor. The bathroom and kitchen on the balcony need a thorough cleaning and renovation. Poor kitchen equipment.

Good location - Good location The room was not properly cleaned at check-in, with used soaps in the bathroom, hair from previous guests on the floor, and a smelly cleaning cloth left on the sink. When I raised this with the owner, he was dismissive and unapologetic, stating I was being picky and asking me to leave at midnight and return the next day, blaming the issues on my late check-in. He also claimed an already opened toothbrush was intended for my use. Overall, a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience.
• Gavin (8/5): Good space - Good size space, decent location Leak in ceiling making bathroom floor wet, 5th floor with no elevator, can be tiring if you forget something and have to climb back up, also I did not like that there are hidden cleaning fees on booking.com that are not calculated as part of total cost

• Maaike (1/5): Hotel annuleert kamer 20 minuten voor aankomst - Ik kreeg op de dag van aankomst (08-11-2025) een bericht dat er een dubbele boeking was en dat er geen kamer meer vrij was. Ik had dit hotel met veel zorg uitgekozen en in juni 2025 al gereserveerd. Ik zat op dat moment in de taxi naar het hotel en appte naar het hotel dat ik iets later zou komen dan de oorspronkelijke tijd die ik via Booking.com een tijd geleden heb doorgekregen. Ik heb gevraagd om op een oplossing, maar die werd niet geboden. Ik heb dus ter plekke een andere accommodatie moeten zoeken. Erg vervelend na een lange reisdag van ruim 16 uur. Ik heb hier een Google review over geschreven en kreeg tot 2x toe van de eigenaar nog berichtjes hierover via Booking.com berichten. Zeer onprofessionele houding van het personeel.

• Lars Troels (7/5): - Room big and nice. Bed and bathroom ok. Had huge problems finding the place. Neighbors showed me to a restaurant. The staff there didn't know anything. Went back and forth. Finally owner called. Had to go through the restaurant and find the room. Didn't meet owner/anyone else at all. Very noisy place until around 2am. See above

• GEORGIOS (9/5): Πολύ καλό δωμάτιο - Ωραίο δωμάτιο και πολύ μεγάλο. Καθαρό και με πολύ μεγάλο και ωραίο κρεβάτι. Πολύ κεντρικό. Η συνεννόηση με τον ιδιοκτήτη έγινε μέσω what's up αλλά ήταν ξεκάθαρη. Βρίσκεται στον τρίτο όροφο και η σκάλα ειναι πολύ στενή.

• Agnes (8/5): Lovely place for exploring Vietnam - Loved the big space. Very safe for female solo traveller. Owner very helpful (he can arrange trips, simcard, transfers). Staying between locals (as they are living in the same building). Especially the lady who lives on the first floor is a sweetheart. To get to the staircase leading to the apartment (no elevator, 3rd floor), you have to go through a small restaurant. It closes at night (which actually feels very safe!), but then you need to ask the owner to open the shutter for you when you come back late at night (like I did from an Ha Giang Loop excursion, and he opened it without any problem). So If you're young, a night owl, and want to explore Hanoi's nightlife, this might not be the ideal place for you. But for me, it wasn't an issue. I loved it lots!
• Ellie (10/5): A great apartment, would definitely stay again! - Really nice spacious, clean and bright apartment with balcony! Good facilities, such as flat screen TV with streaming services, good wifi, air con & a kitchen/cooking area! Bed was comfortable & location was great! Very central and within walking distance of everything! Host was super friendly and he even got us another room to stay in for the day after check out due to our late flight out of Hanoi! Would definitely recommend this place! Sometimes a little noisy on the street outside but that is to be expected with being so central. It didn’t really bother us much though!

Close to grocery stores etc Lots of street noise, a few late night bars close by. Could have been some extra cooking utensils if self catering.

• Nadezda (9/5): In the heart of old quarter - Tastefully decorated apartment located in the very heart of the city. Everything is super close and we loved to watch busy life on the street from the balcony! The hosts are very kind and friendly, they made our stay feel welcome and very comfortable and helped us with everything! Thank you very much! The bed is superb and all the amenities are in good condition. For our first time in Hanoi was perfect stop! As with any apartment that has windows on the street side it might get a bit noisy sometimes. However we found it part of the experience
• Meytal (10/5): Exceptional - Seng is a wonderful host and the studio is not only comfy, but also beautiful! It's located in short walking distance to the cathedral, lake, water pupet show, citadel and old quarter. Important to note that When booking on this app, payment is by cash at time of checkout. We loved it so much, that we booked the same room for our trip out of Hanoi, and the lively host happily kept a bag for us so we can travel liter. Also worth mentioning that Seng also has a travel agency so can help with all booking needs. Highly recommended It didn't bother us at all because we travel with bagpacks, but if you travel with suitcases or trolleys-be aware that the studio is on the 4th floor. The view from the balcony is really cool thanks to this fact though 😎
