• Narelle (10/5): Great proximity to Epworth Richmond - Well located to support family member in Epworth Richmond hospital and then have them recover for a few days in the apartment. It was all very good. Initially a bit tricky finding the right carpark entry, but once located, was absolutely perfect for our needs.

• Paulette (9/5): Beautiful venue close to hospital. - We had a great stay at this venue. We were visiting the Epworth Richmond hospital, it is within walking distance - approx. 500-600m away which was super helpful visiting each day. It is close to eateries along Bridge Road, Coles supermarket is only 300m away along with other traders in the shopping center, bakery, butchery, chemist, pasta, cafe, sushi, grocers, barber, massage - it was so convenient. The venue itself is equipped with everything you need. We stayed for 17 days due to my husband's surgery, and it was great to have a balcony where we could get some fresh air with a nice outlook, looking directly at the hospital over the top of businesses and houses. It was great having 2 separate bathrooms too, one as an ensuite to the main bedroom and then a main bathroom with a bath. This was especially helpful as my husband could not step into a bath but was able to wash in the walk-in shower in the ensuite. In the kitchen there is a full-size fridge/freezer, 4 x hotplates, oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee pod machine & milk frother and all the utensils and crockery you need. The beds are super comfy, as is the couch, has a washing machine, dryer, airer to dry clothes on the balcony if fine, a vacuum cleaner and broom. It is tastefully decorated, light & airy apartment which is easy to keep clean. Carpet in the bedrooms, floorboards in the open kitchen/dining/lounge and tiles in the bathroom & ensuite. It is a real home away from home. Please be mindful that the key collection is off site, several blocks away (over 1km walking and about 6 minutes by car) which is difficult to do with luggage. Also the business is NOT open 24/7. We arrived on a Sunday evening and got held up at the airport due to a security issue (not by us) which made us late to collect our key and the business was closed, luckily the owners/workers were still on site sorting the till but if they had not been there, we would not have been able to collect our key until the next day and had to find temporary accommodation for the night. Your key is to be returned to the same business upon leaving also. Please also note that this venue is NOT a serviced apartment. We stayed 17 days so did laundering and cleaning ourselves during our stay, or it could have been arranged for an additional $70 cleaning fee. If staying for any length of time you will also need to supply your own toilet paper, milk etc. like you would as if at home. If there are any questions for MadeComfy, it is best to send them through where you booked from. We sent multiple messages through the MadeComfy link we were provided without any answers, it wasn't until we messaged through Booking.com where we booked through that they responded and it was very quick.

• Charlotte (10/5): Loved this place. - We absolutely loved our stay in Richmond. Everything was amazing. Fantastic location, really comfortable, clean, homely and we loved it. Especially appreciated was the great deck area and the outdoor pool which we used twice a day during our stay. I can't think of anything.

• Nathen (7/5): Almost perfect!! - Beds aside, the apartment was beautiful and modern, and the location was great. Very well equipped. Exceeded expectations overall. The mattresses are TERRIBLE. Firm and thin, and made for uncomfortable sleepless nights. It would also be good to have had more than one set of keys, as we were a group and not always out together. We were not clear on what was to happen with the keys when we left, either.

Wasn’t told upon booking about inconvenience of picking up keys from a separate location which needed a car to get to. Needed more body wash and shampoo given multiple day stay. Door broken.
