The rooms was tidy and equipped with what I need for my stay. I had a very comfortable stay at MK Colombo and would stay there again when I come back. Maybe the breakfast can start between 6:30 am to 7:00 am. 7:30 am is bit late for me (and my schedule).

• Ruchi Vora (9/5): Great Hotel, Great Location, Cash only! - Clean rooms, good location, modern amenities and good service. Cash only policy. They don't have a way to accept credit cards. You have to be prepared to pay for your entire stay in cash during check-in. We extended our stay (due to flight cancellation) and they accommodated us but required cash payment upfront.

Die Buchung des Flughafentaxis hat perfekt funktioniert. Alles sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Wir erlebten die Lage etwas weit abgelegen. Unser Zimmer roch nach Urin und hatte eine Durchgangstür (gut hörbarer Nachbar). Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen. Frühstück war schwach.

• Katya (9/5): Family atmosphere in the city - Excellent location, cleanliness, very friendly, welcoming and supportive staff. Close to restaurants, supermarkets and local traditional shops. Air conditioner was very noisy. This is the only thing that disturbed me, but for people that are used to this noise it probably would be ok.

• Tatjana (8/5): - Neueres Hotel, am Rand von Colombo. Zum Zentrum der Stadt war es relativ weit. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer war ansprechend, die Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Einige der Angestellten waren nach einem recht bescheidenen Empfang an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Wir konnten unser Gepäck nach Check-Out an der Rezeption abgeben und dort lagern, bis zur Abfahrt zum Flughafen am Abend. Für den Preis haben wir insgesamt dennoch etwas mehr erwartet. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war kühl. Die Angestellten, die zum Zeitpunkt unserer Anreise dort waren, brachten weder ein Lächeln noch eine freundliche Begrüßung zu Stande. Unser gemietetes Tuktuk sollten wir ohne weitere Erklärung auf dem benachbarten Gelände einer Bäckerei abstellen. Die zuvorkommende, höfliche und gastfreundliche Art, die wir in allen anderen Unterkünften in drei Wochen Sri Lanka erlebt haben, fehlte hier leider vollkommen. Wir haben uns zu Beginn hierdurch sehr unwohl und unwillkommen gefühlt. Der Straßenlärm war in dem Zimmer relativ deutlich zu hören.
• Arthur (9/5): Fijn net hotel - Mooie nette kamers in een relatief nieuw hotel. De bedden liggen heerlijk en de wifi is snel en stabiel. Het hotel ligt op de kaart wellicht ver uit het centrum, maar met een tuktuk ben je er in 10 tot 15 minuten. Het niveau van Engels van de medewerkers. Wilde in de avond een nacht bijboeken voor de dag erna en dat was nogal ingewikkeld. Hiervoor moest er eerst contact opgenomen worden met de manager die de volgende dag er pas weer zou zijn.

• George (10/5): - Everything was perfect, the hotel was immaculate and the room was lovely, and the bed was super comfortable, I had the best night's sleep, perfect after a long flight. There's a restaurant which serves western and local food, though there could have been a few more Sri Lankan options on the dinner menu. There are quite a few basic eateries on the main street round the corner though. Although the hotel was near the main road, I couldn't really hear anything from the fourth floor. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming, I'd definitely stay here again. Some more Sri Lankan options on the dinner menu
• Amit (9/5): Excellent hotel and to stay in Colombo with good tariff - Stayed there for 3 days.. The rooms were best and very very clean. Bathrooms were very clean too with hot water at all times . Location is also road touch so accessible to nearby shopping marts and restaurants. The MK Colombo also had a own restaurant. The property is just couple month old...so nice everything was new and in good condition. Early check-in was not permitted even with payment. So had to sit in the lobby from 1030am to 2pm.

• Gary (10/5): A wonderful stay in a wonderful hotel. This sets the standard for medium budget hotels in Colombo. I defy anyone to book - The property was excellently positioned for Colombo. Fantastic staff who were there to help you 24 hours a day. The rooms were immaculate with all u need. Plenty of towels, toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities a fridge. It was perfect in every way

• Carl (9/5): Very good quality and excellent value for money a short tuk-tuk trip from the centre of Colombo. - It is a new hotel so everything was new. Very comfortable room good air conditioning. Did not heat at the hotel but understand food is available. Water / tea bags not always replenished however staff quickly sorted and got then delivered to room.
