- Tara (7/5): - Great location, comfortable beds. The property is 2 separate apartments, it has no internal stairs so it was not good for our family holiday. My kids who were in the downstairs apartment felt separated from the rest of us in the upstairs apartment. We managed to work it out with phones but this was not disclosed when I booked.
- Sabbir (1/5): The property was misrepresented and lacked essential facilities, making it unfit for our family stay - Nothing at all. The property was misrepresented and did not meet basic accommodation standards. The listing implied a single, self-contained 4-bedroom house, which was a key reason for booking as we were a group of five including children and a senior with chronic illness. On arrival, we discovered it was actually two separate units with separate entrances and keys, which was not clearly disclosed. Additionally, the toilet in the upper unit was not working and the air conditioning was also non-functional. These issues were reported immediately via MadeComfy chat and phone. Despite being told repairs would occur the next day, no one attended during the entire stay. A working toilet is an essential facility, and the upper unit was effectively uninhabitable. Under Australian Consumer Law, this constitutes misleading conduct and a major failure, as the accommodation was not fit for purpose and could not be remedied within a reasonable time. We were forced to share one toilet across two units for the whole stay despite paying a premium price. This stay did not meet reasonable expectations or legal consumer standards.
