Belle chambre avec vue sur la lac au delà de quelques maisons. Adossée aux restes du murailles. Bon petit déjeuner. Oliveraies innombrables, immense lac calme.

• Giulia (9/5): Posto carino vicino al centro - Hotel nel centro di Nicea, molto comodo per il centro e per il lago. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e ci ha dato una stanza più grande rispetto a quella che avevamo prenotato. Quando siamo arrivati le finestre erano aperte ed evidentemente sono entrati degli insetti, di notte siamo stati punti molte volte.

• Keina (8/5): Very good - Location from town center/lake. Quiet. Nice terrace. Unique establishment - the a Acomodation site is attached to the ancient wall. Kind Dogs. The discharge water system (either shower, sink or toilet. Not sure which one exactly was) was smelly.

The room was not in the best condition, but it was okay. I think the price was a little high for the state of the room. We only stayed for one night, I don't think we would've wanted to stay for a longer trip.

• Aimee (8/5): Relaxing stay in fascinating Iznik - We arrived at the hotel after a 6 hour drive across Turkiye, exhausted and it was a great place to relax. Helpful car park. Our room was spacious, wonderful bed with a view towards the lake. Tea and coffee facilities in our room, water and a fridge much appreciated. I enjoyed breakfast the next morning, cheeses, fresh salad, bread, eggs, cake...The staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed Iznik, which felt like exploring real Turkey. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. The shower was a mister rather than super powered but it worked fine.

• Benjamin (6/5): Not really that good :-( - The hotel is very near to the lake and you can also reach the center easily by walking. Seems like there are two buildings of the hotel. The part I had my room was very new. The guy who showed me the room and helped me with the bag was a nice guy. The room itself was clean, but unfortunately, the bed wasn't. Pillows and blanket were clean, but it seems the bedsheet was used before. There were a lot of human hairs on it. Also the lower part of the bed was really dirty and dusty. I felt really uncomfortable because of this. The breakfast was not interesting and very easy. Maybe it was because of the winter season and because of less guests. But there weren't even cucumbers or tomatoes, which are basic part of turkish breakfast.

The staff were very friendly, catered to all our needs and provided top assistance during our stay. The breakfast was wonderful - the hotel made us the best cheese omelette we have ever had! • Jo (7/5): Good - By the lake Staff not very friendly. Breakfast not very interesting. All a bit lackluster. The woodburning stove in the breakfast room was welcome because the weather was cold. However, smoke from the chimney came into our room in the early morning - we were in the attic. We also had a turkish coffee one morning. The price was very high compared to other local places. Our previous hotel (in Termal) didn't charge for coffee at all. In the room itself, the beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. However plumbing in the shower room was not great - the smell of drains came back through the shower waste. We had to keep the door closed as the smell was horrible. I think they need to install a waste trap to prevent this.

• Nigel (5/5): A joyless experience in a lovely location! - The location is excellent. There are splendid views of city wall remains and the lake. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff didn't manage a smile during our entire stay - from the moment the receptionist checked her watch to make sure we weren't early on arrival. Local information was grudgingly provided. Breakfast was plain and tired by Turkish standards. My third visit to this hotel under three different owners - and easily the least enjoyable.
• Bruno (10/5): Great family pension in historical Iznik, right on the Lake - This property is nicely located a few meters away from the lake where you can walk or jog on a purpose-built track, right in the historical center of Iznik. What I liked the most is this feeling that you are not in a hotel but rather in a family-run pension. Very friendly and service-minded people. N/A
• Joost (9/5): Warm Turkish hospitality at a prime location - Very nice family hotel where friendly staff helped us wherever they could - baking delicious gözleme to go, parking our van, calling to make a reservation at a local restaurant. They made us feel right at home. Would go again when travelling to Iznik! Staff speaks limited English and communication by mail takes a while, but once at the hotel staff is super helpful.

• Ludmila (6/5): Pleasant - The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It's close to the lake and close to the center. The room was to expensive for what it is. The tap in the bathroom was broken and had no hot water but the shower was okay. The room was alright but it was cold and no extra blankets, the kettle was broken and no wifi - which for turkey is a must wherever you stay as roaming most often doesn't cover you. Only take the room if uoure staying for a night.
