Jiru (9/5): A convenient and decent place to stay if you’re not looking for anything too fancy. It’s a great opt - A solid, budget-friendly hotel with plenty to offer. The rooms are affordable and come with working AC and a fridge, which is always a plus. The surrounding area has a chilly, cozy vibe—perfect for relaxing. There are lots of facilities to keep you entertained: football, table tennis, billiards, foosball, and even a swimming pool. I didn’t try the pool myself, but it looked like the kids were having a great time. The view is lovely too—you can take a walk, chill by the lake, or just enjoy the trees and peaceful atmosphere. No major complaints from me, but just something to keep in mind: the facilities are a bit old. That said, everything still works well. The food is slightly pricey, though that’s pretty typical for hotels. Also, there are no elevators, so be ready to take the stairs. One small inconvenience during check-in: the staff asked for both passports and visas. Their email mentioned they would require documents, but it sounded like either one would be fine. This caused a bit of trouble for my boyfriend, who only had a photo of his passport and not his visa since we don’t usually carry our passports around Hanoi—most hotels accept a passport photo. That said, everything was sorted out in the end, and the staff were still friendly and approachable throughout.

Anouk (2/5): - Le lieu était pas terrible, il n'y avait absolument rien à faire à Ba Vi sans moyen de locomotion (même pas de bus ou autres), le logement ressemblait à un hôpital des années 30, les personnes qui gèrent le lieu ne sont pas du tout accomodantes
