- Chesca (4/5): - I loved the complex. It was an ideal location, 10 minute walk away from Southbank and the city. All of the facilities were spectacular and I used the gym and sauna regularly. The common area was perfect for a bit more space to unwind or study. The room itself had everything I needed and was very practical and comfortable. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with madecomfy. The communication and service was well below standard and I was left in a horrible predicament of not having anywhere to stay for the first night as the check in times weren’t clear regarding arrivals after 11:30pm not being possible. I was made to feel like this was my fault even though it wasn’t explicitly and clearly stated in any of the emails I received. This was very distressing and dangerous as a young woman travelling alone. The communication I had regarding this matter was robotic and handled with absolute disinterest for my situation. Nothing was remedied and I was met with a defensive response with no solution therefore losing my money for the first night, having nowhere to go, staying at the airport over night alone and with no further communication from madecomfy. It’s disappointing because the accomodation itself is wonderful but not worth the risk and lack of consideration for customers.
